Deuteronomy 29:2-18

17 verses

Deuteronomy Chapter 29

2Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, You have seen all that ForeverOne (Yahweh) did before your eyes in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land; 3the great trials which your eyes saw, the signs, and those great wonders: 4but ForeverOne (Yahweh) has not given you a heart to know, and eyes to see, and ears to hear, to this day.

5I have led you forty years in the wilderness: your clothes have not grown old on you, and your shoes have not grown old on your feet.

6You have not eaten bread, neither have you drunk wine or strong drink; that you may know that I am ForeverOne (Yahweh) your God (Elohim).

7When you came to this place, Sihon the king of Heshbon, and Og the king of Bashan, came out against us to battle, and we struck them: 8and we took their land, and gave it for an inheritance to the Reubenites, and to the Gadites, and to the half-tribe of the Manassites.

9Keep therefore the words of this covenant, and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.

10You stand today all of you before ForeverOne (Yahweh) your God (Elohim); your heads, your tribes, your elders, and your officers, even all the men of Israel, 11your little ones, your wives, and your foreigner who is in the midst of your camps, from the one who cuts your wood to the one who draws your water; 12that you may enter into the covenant of ForeverOne (Yahweh) your God (Elohim), and into his oath, which ForeverOne (Yahweh) your God (Elohim) makes with you today; 13that today he may establish you to himself for a people, and that he may be to you a God (Elohim), as he spoke to you, and as he swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob.

14Neither with you only do I make this covenant and this oath, 15but with him who stands here with us today before ForeverOne (Yahweh) our God (Elohim), and also with him who is not here with us today 16(for you know how we lived in the land of Egypt, and how we came through the midst of the nations through which you passed; 17and you have seen their abominations, and their idols, wood and stone, silver and gold, which were among them); 18lest there should be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart turns away today from ForeverOne (Yahweh) our God (Elohim), to go to serve the gods (Elohim) of those nations; lest there should be among you a root that bears gall and wormwood;

Haggai 2:10-23

Haggai Chapter 2

10In the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, in the second year of Darius, the Word of ForeverOne (Yahweh) came by Haggai the prophet, saying, 11"Thus says ForeverOne (Yahweh) of Armies: Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying, 12'If someone carries holy meat in the fold of his garment, and with his fold touches bread, stew, wine, oil, or any food, will it become holy?'" The priests answered, "No." 13Then Haggai said, "If one who is unclean by reason of a dead body touch any of these, will it be unclean?" The priests answered, "It will be unclean." 14Then Haggai answered, "'So is this people, and so is this nation before me,' says ForeverOne (Yahweh); 'and so is every work of their hands. What they offer there is unclean.

15Now, please consider from today and backward, before a stone was laid on a stone in the temple of ForeverOne (Yahweh).

16Through all that time, when one came to a heap of twenty measures, there were only ten. When one came to the wine vat to draw out fifty, there were only twenty.

17I struck you with blight, mildew, and hail in all the work of your hands; yet you didn't turn to me,' says ForeverOne (Yahweh).

18'Consider, please, from today and backward, from the twenty-fourth day of the ninth month, since the day that the foundation of ForeverOne (Yahweh)'s temple was laid, consider it.

19Is the seed yet in the barn? Yes, the vine, the fig tree, the pomegranate, and the olive tree haven't produced. From today will I bless you.'" 20The Word of ForeverOne (Yahweh) came the second time to Haggai in the twenty-fourth day of the month, saying, 21"Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, 'I will shake the heavens and the earth.

22I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms. I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the nations. I will overthrow the chariots, and those who ride in them. The horses and their riders will come down, everyone by the sword of his brother.

23In that day, says ForeverOne (Yahweh) of Armies, will I take you, Zerubbabel, my servant, the son of Shealtiel,' says ForeverOne (Yahweh), 'and will make you as a signet, for I have chosen you,' says ForeverOne (Yahweh) of Armies."

Daniel 6:18-28

Daniel Chapter 6

18Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting; neither were instruments of music brought before him: and his sleep fled from him.

19Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste to the den of lions.

20When he came near to the den to Daniel, he cried with a lamentable voice; the king spoke and said to Daniel, Daniel, servant of the living God (Elah), is your God (Elah), whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?

21Then Daniel said to the king, O king, live forever.

22My God (Elah) has sent his angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, and they have not hurt me; because as before him innocence was found in me; and also before you, O king, have I done no hurt.

23Then was the king exceeding glad, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no kind of harm was found on him, because he had trusted in his God (Elah).

24The king commanded, and they brought those men who had accused Daniel, and they threw them into the den of lions. Them, their children, and their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and broke all their bones in pieces, before they came to the bottom of the den.

25Then king Darius wrote to all the peoples, nations, and languages, who dwell in all the earth: Peace be multiplied to you.

26I make a decree, that in all the dominion of my kingdom men tremble and fear before the God (Elah) of Daniel; for he is the living God (Elah), and steadfast forever, His kingdom what shall not be destroyed; and his dominion shall be even to the end.

27He delivers and rescues, and he works signs and wonders in heaven and in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.

28So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of Cyrus the Persian.

Revelation 13

18 verses

Revelation Chapter 13

1Then I stood on the sand of the sea. I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads. On his horns were ten crowns, and on his heads, blasphemous names.

2The beast which I saw was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. The dragon gave him his power, his throne, and great authority.

3One of his heads looked like it had been wounded fatally. His fatal wound was healed, and the whole earth marveled at the beast.

4They worshiped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, "Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?" 5A mouth speaking great things and blasphemy was given to him. Authority to make war for forty-two months was given to him.

6He opened his mouth for blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his dwelling, those who dwell in heaven.

7It was given to him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them. Authority over every tribe, people, language, and nation was given to him.

8All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been killed.

9If anyone has an ear, let him hear.

10If anyone is to go into captivity, he will go into captivity. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, he must be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.

11I saw another beast coming up out of the earth. He had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.

12He exercises all the authority of the first beast in his presence. He makes the earth and those who dwell in it to worship the first beast, whose fatal wound was healed.

13He performs great signs, even making fire come down out of the sky to the earth in the sight of people.

14He deceives my own people who dwell on the earth because of the signs he was granted to do in front of the beast; saying to those who dwell on the earth that they should make an image to the beast who had the sword wound and lived.

15It was given to him to give breath to it, to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause as many as wouldn't worship the image of the beast to be killed.

16He causes all, the small and the great, the rich and the poor, and the free and the slave, to be given marks on their right hands, or on their foreheads; 17and that no one would be able to buy or to sell, unless he has that mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of his name.

18Here is wisdom. He who has understanding, let him calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. His number is six hundred sixty-six.
