Numbers Chapter 24

7Water shall flow from his buckets. His seed shall be in many waters. His king shall be higher than Agag. His kingdom shall be exalted.

8God brings him out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild ox. He shall eat up the nations his adversaries, shall break their bones in pieces, and pierce them with his arrows.

9He couched, he lay down as a lion, as a lioness; who shall rouse him up? Everyone who blesses you is blessed. Everyone who curses you is cursed." 10Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he struck his hands together; and Balak said to Balaam, "I called you to curse my enemies, and, behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times.

11Therefore now flee you to your place! I thought to promote you to great honor; but, behold, ForeverOne has kept you back from honor." 12Balaam said to Balak, "Didn't I also tell your messengers who you sent to me, saying, 13'If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can't go beyond the word of ForeverOne, to do either good or bad of my own mind. I will say what ForeverOne says'?

14Now, behold, I go to my people: come, [and] I will inform you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days." 15He took up his parable, and said, "Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eye was closed says; 16he says, who hears the words of God, knows the knowledge of the Most High, and who sees the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open: 17I see him, but not now. I see him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob. A scepter will rise out of Israel, and shall strike through the corners of Moab, and break down all the sons of Sheth.

18Edom shall be a possession. Seir, his enemies, also shall be a possession, while Israel does valiantly.

19Out of Jacob shall one have dominion, and shall destroy the remnant from the city." 20He looked at Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, "Amalek was the first of the nations, But his latter end shall come to destruction." 21He looked at the Kenite, and took up his parable, and said, "Your dwelling place is strong. Your nest is set in the rock.

22Nevertheless Kain shall be wasted, until Asshur carries you away captive." 23He took up his parable, and said, "Alas, who shall live when God does this?

24But ships [shall come] from the coast of Kittim. They shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber. He also shall come to destruction." 25Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went his way.

Ezekiel 1:28-3:19

Ezekiel Chapter 1

28As the appearance of the rainbow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness all around. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of ForeverOne. When I saw it, I fell on my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

Ezekiel Chapter 2

1He said to me, Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak with you.

2The Spirit entered into me when he spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard him who spoke to me.

3He said to me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a nation of rebels who have rebelled against me. They and their fathers have transgressed against me even to this very day.

4The children are impudent and stiff-hearted: I am sending you to them; and you shall tell them, Thus says the Lord ForeverOne.

5They, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house), yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them.

6You, son of man, don't be afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: don't be afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

7You shall speak my words to them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear; for they are most rebellious.

8But you, son of man, hear what I tell you; don't be rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that which I give you.

9When I looked, behold, a hand was put forth to me; and, behold, a scroll of a book was therein; 10He spread it before me: and it was written within and without; and there were written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

Ezekiel Chapter 3

1He said to me, Son of man, eat that which you find. Eat this scroll, and go, speak to the house of Israel.

2So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat the scroll.

3He said to me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this scroll that I give you. Then I ate it; and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.

4He said to me, Son of man, go to the house of Israel, and speak my words to them.

5For you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of a hard language, but to the house of Israel; 6not to many peoples of a strange speech and of a hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, if I sent you to them, they would listen to you.

7But the house of Israel will not listen to you; for they will not listen to me: for all the house of Israel are obstinate and hard-hearted.

8Behold, I have made your face hard against their faces, and your forehead hard against their foreheads.

9As an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: don't be afraid of them, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.

10Moreover he said to me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak to you receive in your heart, and hear with your ears.

11Go to them of the captivity, to the children of your people, and speak to them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord ForeverOne; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.

12Then the Spirit lifted me up, and I heard behind me the voice of a great rushing, [saying], Blessed be the glory of ForeverOne from his place.

13[I heard] the noise of the wings of the living creatures as they touched one another, and the noise of the wheels beside them, even the noise of a great rushing.

14So the Spirit lifted me up, and took me away; and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; and the hand of ForeverOne was strong on me.

15Then I came to them of the captivity at Tel Aviv, that lived by the river Chebar, and to where they lived; and I sat there overwhelmed among them seven days.

16It happened at the end of seven days, that the word of ForeverOne came to me, saying, 17Son of man, I have made you a watchman to the house of Israel: therefore hear the word from my mouth, and give them warning from me.

18When I tell the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at your hand.

19Yet if you warn the wicked, and he doesn't turn from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

Section 3

Psalm 124-127

28 verses

Psalm 124

A Song of Ascents. By David.

1If it had not been ForeverOne who was on our side, let Israel now say, 2if it had not been ForeverOne who was on our side, when men rose up against us; 3then they would have swallowed us up alive, when their wrath was kindled against us; 4then the waters would have overwhelmed us, the stream would have gone over our soul; 5then the proud waters would have gone over our soul.

6Blessed be ForeverOne, who has not given us as a prey to their teeth.

7Our soul has escaped like a bird out of the fowler's snare. The snare is broken, and we have escaped.

8Our help is in the name of ForeverOne, who made heaven and earth.

Psalm 125

A Song of Ascents.

1Those who trust in ForeverOne are as Mount Zion, which can't be moved, but remains forever.

2As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so ForeverOne surrounds his people from this time forth and forevermore.

3For the scepter of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous; so that the righteous won't use their hands to do evil.

4Do good, ForeverOne, to those who are good, to those who are upright in their hearts.

5But as for those who turn aside to their crooked ways, ForeverOne will lead them away with the workers of iniquity. Peace be on Israel.

Psalm 126

A Song of Ascents.

1When ForeverOne brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream.

2Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing. Then they said among the nations, "ForeverOne has done great things for them." 3ForeverOne has done great things for us, and we are glad.

4Restore our fortunes again, ForeverOne, like the streams in the Negev.

5Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

6He who goes out weeping, carrying seed for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.

Psalm 127

A Song of Ascents. By Solomon.

1Unless ForeverOne builds the house, they labor in vain who build it. Unless ForeverOne watches over the city, the watchman guards it in vain.

2It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his loved ones.

3Behold, children are a heritage of ForeverOne. The fruit of the womb is his reward.

4As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth.

5Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They won't be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.

Ephesians 1

23 verses

Ephesians Chapter 1

1Paul, an apostle of AnointedOne Jesus through the will of God, to the saints who are at Ephesus, and the faithful in AnointedOne Jesus: 2Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus AnointedOne.

3Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in the AnointedOne, 4even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and without blemish before him in love, 5having predestined us for adoption as children through Jesus AnointedOne to himself, according to the good pleasure of his desire, 6to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Dear-ones, 7in whom we have our redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, 8which he made to abound toward us in all wisdom and prudence, 9making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him 10to an administration of the fullness of the times, to sum up all things in the AnointedOne, the things in the heavens and the things on the earth, in him.

11We were also assigned an inheritance in him, having been foreordained according to the purpose of him who does all things after the counsel of his will, 12to the end that we should be to the praise of his glory, we who had before hoped in the AnointedOne: 13in whom you also, having heard the word of the truth, the Good News of your salvation - in whom, having also believed, you were sealed with the promised Holy Spirit, 14who is a pledge of our inheritance, to the redemption of God's own possession, to the praise of his glory.

15For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which you have toward all the saints, 16don't cease to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers, 17that the God of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne, the Father of glory, may give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him, 18having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope of his calling, and what are the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints, 19and what is the exceeding greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might 20which he worked in the AnointedOne, when he raised him from the dead and made him to sit at his right hand in the heavenly places, 21far above all rule, authority, power, dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age, but also in that which is to come.

22He put all things in subjection under his feet, and gave him to be head over all things for the assembly, 23which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
