Numbers Chapter 13

¹ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, ²"Send men, that they may spy out the land of Canaan, which I give to the children of Israel. Of every tribe of their fathers, you shall send a man, every one a prince among them." ³Moses sent them from the wilderness of Paran according to the commandment of ForeverOne: all of them men who were heads of the children of Israel.

⁴These were their names: Of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.

⁵Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat the son of Hori.

⁶Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.

⁷Of the tribe of Issachar, Igal the son of Joseph.

⁸Of the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Nun.

⁹Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti the son of Raphu.

¹⁰Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel the son of Sodi.

¹¹Of the tribe of Joseph, [namely], of the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi.

¹²Of the tribe of Dan, Ammiel the son of Gemalli.

¹³Of the tribe of Asher, Sethur the son of Michael.

¹⁴Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi the son of Vophsi.

¹⁵Of the tribe of Gad, Geuel the son of Machi.

¹⁶These are the names of the men who Moses sent to spy out the land. Moses called Hoshea the son of Nun Joshua.

¹⁷Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said to them, "Go up this way by the South, and go up into the hill country: ¹⁸and see the land, what it is; and the people who dwell therein, whether they are strong or weak, whether they are few or many; ¹⁹and what the land is that they dwell in, whether it is good or bad; and what cities they are that they dwell in, whether in camps, or in strongholds; ²⁰and what the land is, whether it is fat or lean, whether there is wood therein, or not. Be courageous, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the first-ripe grapes." ²¹So they went up, and spied out the land from the wilderness of Zin to Rehob, to the entrance of Hamath.

²²They went up by the South, and came to Hebron; and Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were there. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.) ²³They came to the valley of Eshcol, and cut down from there a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bore it on a staff between two; [they brought] also of the pomegranates, and of the figs.

²⁴That place was called the valley of Eshcol, because of the cluster which the children of Israel cut down from there.

Jeremiah Chapter 32

³¹For this city has been to me a provocation of my anger and of my wrath from the day that they built it even to this day; that I should remove it from before my face, ³²because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

³³They have turned to me the back, and not the face: and though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not listened to receive instruction.

³⁴But they set their abominations in the house which is called by my name, to defile it.

³⁵They built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through [the fire] to Molech; which I didn't command them, neither did it come into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.

³⁶Now therefore thus says ForeverOne, the God of Israel, concerning this city, about which you say, It is given into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: ³⁷Behold, I will gather them out of all the countries, where I have driven them in my anger, and in my wrath, and in great indignation; and I will bring them again to this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely: ³⁸and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: ³⁹and I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear me forever, for the good of them, and of their children after them: ⁴⁰and I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from following them, to do them good; and I will put my fear in their hearts, that they may not depart from me.

⁴¹Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.

⁴²For thus says ForeverOne: Like as I have brought all this great evil on this people, so will I bring on them all the good that I have promised them.

⁴³Fields shall be bought in this land, about which you say, It is desolate, without man or animal; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.

⁴⁴Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe the deeds, and seal them, and call witnesses, in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the hill country, and in the cities of the lowland, and in the cities of the South: for I will cause their captivity to return, says ForeverOne.

Jeremiah Chapter 33

¹Moreover the word of ForeverOne came to Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the guard, saying, ²Thus says ForeverOne who does it, ForeverOne who forms it to establish it; ForeverOne is his name: ³Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great things, and difficult, which you don't know.

⁴For thus says ForeverOne, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are broken down [to make a defense] against the mounds and against the sword; ⁵while [men] come to fight with the Chaldeans, and to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have killed in my anger and in my wrath, and for all whose wickedness I have hidden my face from this city: ⁶Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them; and I will reveal to them abundance of peace and truth.

⁷I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.

⁸I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, by which they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, by which they have sinned against me, and by which they have transgressed against me.

⁹[This city] shall be to me for a name of joy, for a praise and for a glory, before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do to them, and shall fear and tremble for all the good and for all the peace that I procure to it.

Psalm 92

A Psalm. A song for the Sabbath day.

¹It is a good thing to give thanks to ForeverOne, to sing praises to your name, Most High; ²to proclaim your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night, ³with the ten-stringed lute, with the harp, and with the melody of the lyre.

⁴For you, ForeverOne, have made me glad through your work. I will triumph in the works of your hands.

⁵How great are your works, ForeverOne! Your thoughts are very deep.

⁶A senseless man doesn't know, neither does a fool understand this: ⁷though the wicked spring up like plants, and all the evildoers flourish, they will be destroyed forever.

⁸But you, ForeverOne, are on high forevermore.

⁹For, behold, your enemies, ForeverOne, for, behold, your enemies shall perish. All the evildoers will be scattered.

¹⁰But you have exalted my horn like that of the wild ox. I am anointed with fresh oil.

¹¹My eye has also seen my enemies. My ears have heard of the wicked enemies who rise up against me.

¹²The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree. He will grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

¹³They are planted in ForeverOne's house. They will flourish in our God's courts.

¹⁴They will still bring forth fruit in old age. They will be full of sap and green, ¹⁵to show that ForeverOne is upright. He is my rock, and there is no unrighteousness in him.

Psalm 93

¹ForeverOne reigns! He is clothed with majesty! ForeverOne is armed with strength. The world also is established. It can't be moved.

²Your throne is established from long ago. You are from everlasting.

³The floods have lifted up, ForeverOne, the floods have lifted up their voice. The floods lift up their waves.

⁴Above the voices of many waters, the mighty breakers of the sea, ForeverOne on high is mighty.

⁵Your statutes stand firm. Holiness adorns your house, ForeverOne, forevermore.

1 Corinthians Chapter 12

²⁷Now you are the body of the AnointedOne, and members individually.

²⁸God has set some in the assembly: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.

²⁹Are all apostles? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?

³⁰Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?

³¹But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.

1 Corinthians Chapter 13

¹If I speak with the languages of men and of angels, but don't have love, I have become sounding brass, or a clanging cymbal.

²If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but don't have love, I am nothing.

³If I give away all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body to be burned, but don't have love, it profits me nothing.

⁴Love is patient and is kind. Love doesn't envy. Love doesn't brag and isn't proud, ⁵doesn't behave itself inappropriately, doesn't seek its own way, is not provoked, takes no account of evil; ⁶doesn't rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; ⁷bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

⁸Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done away with.

⁹For we know in part and we prophesy in part; ¹⁰but when that which is complete has come, then that which is partial will be done away with.

¹¹When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I felt as a child, I thought as a child. Now that I have become a man, I have put away childish things.

¹²For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I will know fully, even as I was also fully known.

¹³But now faith, hope, and love remain- these three. The greatest of these is love.
