Exodus Chapter 6

²⁰Amram took Jochebed his father's sister [to be his] wife; and she bore him Aaron and Moses: and the years of the life of Amram were a hundred and thirty-seven years.

²¹The sons of Izhar were Korah, and Nepheg, and Zichri.

²²The sons of Uzziel were Mishael, and Elzaphan, and Sithri.

²³Aaron took Elisheba, the daughter of Amminadab, the sister of Nahshon, [to be his] wife; and she bore him Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.

²⁴The sons of Korah were Assir, and Elkanah, and Abiasaph; these are the families of the Korahites.

²⁵Eleazar Aaron's son took one of the daughters of Putiel as his wife; and she bore him Phinehas. These are the heads of the fathers' houses of the Levites according to their families.

²⁶These are that Aaron and Moses, to whom ForeverOne said, "Bring out the children of Israel from the land of Egypt according to their armies." ²⁷These are those who spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt. These are that Moses and Aaron.

²⁸On the day when ForeverOne spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, ²⁹ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, "I am ForeverOne. Speak to Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I speak to you." ³⁰Moses said before ForeverOne, "Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh listen to me?"

Exodus Chapter 7

2 Samuel Chapter 16

⁵When king David came to Bahurim, behold, a man of the family of the house of Saul came out, whose name was Shimei, the son of Gera. He came out, and cursed still as he came.

⁶He threw stones at David, and at all the servants of king David, and all the people and all the mighty men were on his right hand and on his left.

⁷Shimei said when he cursed, "Be gone, be gone, you man of blood, and base fellow!

⁸ForeverOne has returned on you all the blood of the house of Saul, in whose place you have reigned! ForeverOne has delivered the kingdom into the hand of Absalom your son! Behold, you are caught by your own mischief, because you are a man of blood!" ⁹Then Abishai the son of Zeruiah said to the king, "Why should this dead dog curse my lord the king? Please let me go over and take off his head." ¹⁰The king said, "What have I to do with you, you sons of Zeruiah? Because he curses, and because ForeverOne has said to him, 'Curse David;' who then shall say, 'Why have you done so?'" ¹¹David said to Abishai, and to all his servants, "Behold, my son, who came out from my body, seeks my life. How much more this Benjamite, now? Leave him alone, and let him curse; for ForeverOne has invited him.

¹²It may be that ForeverOne will look on the wrong done to me, and that ForeverOne will repay me good for the cursing of me today." ¹³So David and his men went along the road; and Shimei went along on the hillside opposite him, and cursed as he went, threw stones at him, and threw dust.

¹⁴The king, and all the people who were with him, came weary; and he refreshed himself there.

¹⁵Absalom, and all the people, the men of Israel, came to Jerusalem, and Ahithophel with him.

¹⁶When Hushai the Archite, David's friend, had come to Absalom, Hushai said to Absalom, "Long live the king! Long live the king!" ¹⁷Absalom said to Hushai, "Is this your kindness to your friend? Why didn't you go with your friend?" ¹⁸Hushai said to Absalom, "No; but whoever ForeverOne, and this people, and all the men of Israel have chosen, his will I be, and with him I will stay.

¹⁹Again, whom should I serve? Shouldn't I serve in the presence of his son? As I have served in your father's presence, so will I be in your presence." ²⁰Then Absalom said to Ahithophel, "Give your counsel what we shall do." ²¹Ahithophel said to Absalom, "Go in to your father's concubines, that he has left to keep the house. Then all Israel will hear that you are abhorred by your father. Then the hands of all who are with you will be strong." ²²So they spread Absalom a tent on the top of the house; and Absalom went in to his father's concubines in the sight of all Israel.

²³The counsel of Ahithophel, which he gave in those days, was as if a man inquired at the oracle of God: so was all the counsel of Ahithophel both with David and with Absalom.

2 Samuel Chapter 17

¹Moreover Ahithophel said to Absalom, "Let me now choose twelve thousand men, and I will arise and pursue after David tonight.

²I will come on him while he is weary and exhausted, and will make him afraid. All the people who are with him shall flee. I will strike the king only; ³and I will bring back all the people to you. The man whom you seek is as if all returned. All the people shall be in peace." ⁴The saying pleased Absalom well, and all the elders of Israel.

⁵Then Absalom said, "Now call Hushai the Archite also, and let us hear likewise what he says." ⁶When Hushai had come to Absalom, Absalom spoke to him, saying, "Ahithophel has spoken like this. Shall we do what he says? If not, speak up." ⁷Hushai said to Absalom, "The counsel that Ahithophel has given this time is not good."

2 Chronicles Chapter 34

²⁶But to the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of ForeverOne, thus you shall tell him, 'Thus says ForeverOne, the God of Israel: "As touching the words which you have heard, ²⁷because your heart was tender, and you humbled yourself before God, when you heard his words against this place, and against its inhabitants, and have humbled yourself before me, and have torn your clothes, and wept before me; I also have heard you," says ForeverOne.

²⁸"Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, neither shall your eyes see all the evil that I will bring on this place, and on its inhabitants."'" They brought back word to the king.

²⁹Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.

³⁰The king went up to the house of ForeverOne, and all the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, both great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of ForeverOne.

³¹The king stood in his place, and made a covenant before ForeverOne, to walk after ForeverOne, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant that were written in this book.

³²He caused all who were found in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand [to it]. The inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.

³³Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all who were found in Israel to serve, even to serve ForeverOne their God. All his days they didn't depart from following ForeverOne, the God of their fathers.

2 Chronicles Chapter 35

¹Josiah kept a Passover to ForeverOne in Jerusalem: and they killed the Passover on the fourteenth [day] of the first month.

²He set the priests in their offices, and encouraged them to the service of the house of ForeverOne.

³He said to the Levites who taught all Israel, who were holy to ForeverOne, "Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel built. There shall no more be a burden on your shoulders. Now serve ForeverOne your God, and his people Israel.

⁴Prepare yourselves after your fathers' houses by your divisions, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.

⁵Stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the fathers' houses of your brothers the children of the people, and [let there be for each] a portion of a fathers' house of the Levites.

⁶Kill the Passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare for your brothers, to do according to the word of ForeverOne by Moses."

Luke Chapter 9

¹He called the twelve together, and gave them power and authority over all demons, and to cure diseases.

²He sent them out to preach God's Kingdom and to heal the sick.

³He said to them, "Take nothing for your journey- no staff, no wallet, no bread, no money. Don't have two tunics each.

⁴Into whatever house you enter, stay there, and depart from there.

⁵As many as don't receive you, when you depart from that city, shake off even the dust from your feet for a testimony against them." ⁶They departed and went throughout the villages, preaching the Good News and healing everywhere.

⁷Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him; and he was very perplexed, because it was said by some that John had risen from the dead, ⁸and by some that Elijah had appeared, and by others that one of the old prophets had risen again.

⁹Herod said, "I beheaded John, but who is this about whom I hear such things?" He sought to see him.

¹⁰The apostles, when they had returned, told him what things they had done. He took them and withdrew apart to a desert region of a city called Bethsaida.

¹¹But the multitudes, perceiving it, followed him. He welcomed them, spoke to them of God's Kingdom, and he cured those who needed healing.

¹²The day began to wear away; and the twelve came and said to him, "Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding villages and farms, and lodge, and get food, for we are here in a deserted place." ¹³But he said to them, "You give them something to eat." They said, "We have no more than five loaves and two fish, unless we should go and buy food for all these people." ¹⁴For they were about five thousand men. He said to his disciples, "Make them sit down in groups of about fifty each." ¹⁵They did so, and made them all sit down.

¹⁶He took the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to the sky, he blessed them, broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the multitude.

¹⁷They ate and were all filled. They gathered up twelve baskets of broken pieces that were left over.
