Deuteronomy Chapter 4

⁴¹Then Moses set apart three cities beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise; ⁴²that the manslayer might flee there, who kills his neighbor unawares, and didn't hate him in time past; and that fleeing to one of these cities he might live: ⁴³[namely], Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country, for the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead, for the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, for the Manassites.

⁴⁴This is the law which Moses set before the children of Israel: ⁴⁵these are the testimonies, and the statutes, and the ordinances, which Moses spoke to the children of Israel, when they came here out of Egypt, ⁴⁶beyond the Jordan, in the valley over against Beth Peor, in the land of Sihon king of the Amorites, who lived at Heshbon, whom Moses and the children of Israel struck, when they came here out of Egypt.

⁴⁷They took his land in possession, and the land of Og king of Bashan, the two kings of the Amorites, who were beyond the Jordan toward the sunrise; ⁴⁸from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, even to Mount Sion (which is Hermon), ⁴⁹and all the Arabah beyond the Jordan eastward, even to the sea of the Arabah, under the slopes of Pisgah.

Deuteronomy Chapter 5

¹Moses called to all Israel, and said to them, Hear, Israel, the statutes and the ordinances which I speak in your ears today, that you may learn them, and observe to do them.

²ForeverOne our God made a covenant with us in Horeb.

³ForeverOne didn't make this covenant with our fathers, but with us, even us, who are all of us here alive today.

⁴ForeverOne spoke with you face to face on the mountain out of the midst of the fire, ⁵(I stood between ForeverOne and you at that time, to show you the word of ForeverOne: for you were afraid because of the fire, and didn't go up onto the mountain;) saying, ⁶"I am ForeverOne your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.

⁷"You shall have no other gods before me.

⁸"You shall not make an engraved image for yourself, [nor] any likeness [of anything] that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: ⁹you shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them; for I, ForeverOne, your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children, and on the third and on the fourth generation of those who hate me; ¹⁰and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Ezekiel Chapter 37

²³neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions; but I will save them out of all their dwelling places, in which they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be my people, and I will be their God.

²⁴My servant David shall be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also walk in my ordinances, and observe my statutes, and do them.

²⁵They shall dwell in the land that I have given to Jacob my servant, in which your fathers lived; and they shall dwell there, they, and their children, and their children's children, forever: and David my servant shall be their prince for ever.

²⁶Moreover I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore.

²⁷My tent also shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

²⁸The nations shall know that I am ForeverOne who sanctifies Israel, when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them forevermore.

Ezekiel Chapter 38

¹The word of ForeverOne came to me, saying, ²Son of man, set your face toward Gog, of the land of Magog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal, and prophesy against him, ³and say, Thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: Behold, I am against you, Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal: ⁴and I will turn you around, and put hooks into your jaws, and I will bring you forth, with all your army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed in full armor, a great company with buckler and shield, all of them handling swords; ⁵Persia, Cush, and Put with them, all of them with shield and helmet; ⁶Gomer, and all his hordes; the house of Togarmah in the uttermost parts of the north, and all his hordes; even many peoples with you.

⁷Be prepared, yes, prepare yourself, you, and all your companies who are assembled to you, and be a guard to them.

⁸After many days you shall be visited: in the latter years you shall enter the land that is brought back from the sword, that is gathered out of many peoples, on the mountains of Israel, which have been a continual waste; but it is made out of the peoples, and they shall dwell securely, all of them.

⁹You shall ascend, you shall come like a storm, you shall be like a cloud to cover the land, you, and all your hordes, and many peoples with you.

¹⁰Thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: In that day things shall enter your mind, and you shall devise an evil device: ¹¹and you shall say, I will go up to the land of unwalled villages; I will go to those who are at rest, who dwell securely, all of them dwelling without walls, and having neither bars nor gates; ¹²to take the spoil and to take the prey; to turn your hand against the waste places that are [now] inhabited, and against the people who are gathered out of the nations, who have obtained livestock and goods, who dwell in the middle of the earth.

¹³Sheba, and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish, with all the young lions of it, shall tell you, Have you come to take the spoil? Have you assembled your company to take the prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away livestock and goods, to take great spoil?

¹⁴Therefore, son of man, prophesy, and tell Gog, Thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: In that day when my people Israel dwells securely, shall you not know it?

¹⁵You shall come from your place out of the uttermost parts of the north, you, and many peoples with you, all of them riding on horses, a great company and a mighty army; ¹⁶and you shall come up against my people Israel, as a cloud to cover the land: in the latter days I will bring you against my land, that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in you, Gog, before their eyes.

Proverbs Chapter 24

²³These also are sayings of the wise. To show partiality in judgment is not good.

²⁴He who says to the wicked, "You are righteous;" peoples shall curse him, and nations shall abhor him - ²⁵but it will go well with those who convict the guilty, and a rich blessing will come on them.

²⁶An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.

²⁷Prepare your work outside, and get your fields ready. Afterwards, build your house.

²⁸Don't be a witness against your neighbor without cause. Don't deceive with your lips.

²⁹Don't say, "I will do to him as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work." ³⁰I went by the field of the sluggard, by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; ³¹Behold, it was all grown over with thorns. Its surface was covered with nettles, and its stone wall was broken down.

³²Then I saw, and considered well. I saw, and received instruction: ³³a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep; ³⁴so your poverty will come as a robber, and your want as an armed man.

Proverbs Chapter 25

¹These also are proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.

²It is the glory of God to conceal a thing, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.

³As the heavens for height, and the earth for depth, so the hearts of kings are unsearchable.

⁴Take away the dross from the silver, and material comes out for the refiner; ⁵Take away the wicked from the king's presence, and his throne will be established in righteousness.

⁶Don't exalt yourself in the presence of the king, or claim a place among great men; ⁷for it is better that it be said to you, "Come up here," than that you should be put lower in the presence of the prince, whom your eyes have seen.

⁸Don't be hasty in bringing charges to court. What will you do in the end when your neighbor shames you?

⁹Debate your case with your neighbor, and don't betray the confidence of another; ¹⁰lest one who hears it put you to shame, and your bad reputation never depart.

¹¹A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in settings of silver.

¹²As an earring of gold, and an ornament of fine gold, so is a wise reprover to an obedient ear.

¹³As the cold of snow in the time of harvest, so is a faithful messenger to those who send him; for he refreshes the soul of his masters.

¹⁴As clouds and wind without rain, so is he who boasts of gifts deceptively.

Hebrews Chapter 6

⁹But, dear-ones, we are persuaded of better things for you, and things that accompany salvation, even though we speak like this.

¹⁰For God is not unrighteous, so as to forget your work and the labor of love which you showed toward his name, in that you served the saints, and still do serve them.

¹¹We desire that each one of you may show the same diligence to the fullness of hope even to the end, ¹²that you won't be sluggish, but imitators of those who through faith and perseverance inherited the promises.

¹³For when God made a promise to Abraham, since he could swear by no one greater, he swore by himself, ¹⁴saying, "Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you." ¹⁵Thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

¹⁶For men indeed swear by a greater one, and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.

¹⁷In this way God, being determined to show more abundantly to the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath, ¹⁸that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to take hold of the hope set before us.

¹⁹This hope we have as an anchor of the soul, a hope both sure and steadfast and entering into what is within the veil; ²⁰where as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.

Hebrews Chapter 7

¹For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of God Most High, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him, ²to whom also Abraham divided a tenth part of all (being first, by interpretation, "king of righteousness", and then also "king of Salem", which means "king of peace", ³without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God), remains a priest continually.

⁴Now consider how great this man was, to whom even Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth out of the best plunder.

⁵They indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest's office have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brothers, though these have come out of the body of Abraham, ⁶but he whose genealogy is not counted from them has accepted tithes from Abraham, and has blessed him who has the promises.

⁷But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.
