Numbers Chapter 11

¹⁰Moses heard the people weeping throughout their families, every man at the door of his tent; and the anger of ForeverOne was kindled greatly; and Moses was displeased.

¹¹Moses said to ForeverOne, "Why have you treated with your servant so badly? Why haven't I found favor in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people on me?

¹²Have I conceived all this people? Have I brought them here, that you should tell me, 'Carry them in your bosom, as a nurse carries a nursing infant, to the land which you swore to their fathers?' ¹³Where could I get meat to give to all this people? For they weep to me, saying, 'Give us meat, that we may eat.' ¹⁴I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.

¹⁵If you treat me this way, please kill me right now, if I have found favor in your sight; and don't let me see my wretchedness." ¹⁶ForeverOne said to Moses, "Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them to the Tent of Meeting, that they may stand there with you.

¹⁷I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit which is on you, and will put it on them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you not bear it yourself alone.

¹⁸"Say to the people, 'Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow, and you will eat flesh; for you have wept in the ears of ForeverOne, saying, "Who will give us flesh to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt." Therefore ForeverOne will give you flesh, and you will eat.

¹⁹You will not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days, ²⁰but a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it is loathsome to you; because you have rejected ForeverOne who is among you, and have wept before him, saying, "Why did we come out of Egypt?"'" ²¹Moses said, "The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand men on foot; and you have said, 'I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.' ²²Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to be sufficient for them? Shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to be sufficient for them?" ²³ForeverOne said to Moses, "Has ForeverOne's hand grown short? Now you will see whether my word will happen to you or not."

Jeremiah Chapter 30

¹⁸Thus says ForeverOne: Behold, I will turn again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have compassion on his dwelling places; and the city shall be built on its own hill, and the palace shall be inhabited in its own way.

¹⁹Out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of those who make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.

²⁰Their children also shall be as before, and their congregation shall be established before me; and I will punish all who oppress them.

²¹Their prince shall be of themselves, and their ruler shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach to me: for who is he who has had boldness to approach to me? says ForeverOne.

²²You shall be my people, and I will be your God.

²³Behold, the storm of ForeverOne, [even his] wrath, is gone forth, a sweeping storm: it shall burst on the head of the wicked.

²⁴The fierce anger of ForeverOne will not return, until he has executed, and until he has performed the intentions of his heart. In the latter days you will understand it.

Jeremiah Chapter 31

¹At that time, says ForeverOne, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

²Thus says ForeverOne, The people who were left of the sword found favor in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.

³ForeverOne appeared of old to me, [saying], Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.

⁴Again will I build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: again you shall be adorned with your tambourines, and shall go forth in the dances of those who make merry.

⁵Again you shall plant vineyards on the mountains of Samaria; the planters shall plant, and shall enjoy [its fruit].

⁶For there shall be a day, that the watchmen on the hills of Ephraim shall cry, Arise, and let us go up to Zion to ForeverOne our God.

⁷For thus says ForeverOne, Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout for the chief of the nations: publish, praise, and say, ForeverOne, save your people, the remnant of Israel.

⁸Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the uttermost parts of the earth, [and] with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her who travails with child together: a great company shall they return here.

⁹They shall come with weeping; and with petitions will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by rivers of waters, in a straight way in which they shall not stumble; for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.

¹⁰Hear the word of ForeverOne, you nations, and declare it in the islands far away; and say, He who scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as shepherd does his flock.

¹¹For ForeverOne has ransomed Jacob, and redeemed him from the hand of him who was stronger than he.

¹²They shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow to the goodness of ForeverOne, to the grain, and to the new wine, and to the oil, and to the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.

¹³Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, and the young men and the old together; for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.

¹⁴I will satiate the soul of the priests with abundance, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says ForeverOne.

¹⁵Thus says ForeverOne: A voice is heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping, Rachel weeping for her children; she refuses to be comforted for her children, because they are no more.

¹⁶Thus says ForeverOne: Refrain your voice from weeping, and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says ForeverOne; and they shall return from the land of the enemy.

¹⁷There is hope for your latter end, says ForeverOne; and [your] children shall return to their own border.

¹⁸I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself [thus], You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a calf unaccustomed [to the yoke]: turn me, and I shall be turned; for you are ForeverOne my God.

¹⁹Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I struck on my thigh: I was ashamed, yes, even confounded, because I bore the reproach of my youth.

²⁰Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a darling child? for as often as I speak against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my heart yearns for him; I will surely have mercy on him, says ForeverOne.

Psalm 89

¹I will sing of the loving kindness of ForeverOne forever. With my mouth, I will make known your faithfulness to all generations.

²I indeed declare, "Love stands firm forever. You established the heavens. Your faithfulness is in them." ³"I have made a covenant with my chosen one, I have sworn to David, my servant, ⁴'I will establish your offspring forever, and build up your throne to all generations.'" Selah.

⁵The heavens will praise your wonders, ForeverOne; your faithfulness also in the assembly of the holy ones.

⁶For who in the skies can be compared to ForeverOne? Who among the sons of the heavenly beings is like ForeverOne, ⁷a very awesome God in the council of the holy ones, to be feared above all those who are around him?

⁸ForeverOne, God of Armies, who is a mighty one, like you? EverOne, your faithfulness is around you.

⁹You rule the pride of the sea. When its waves rise up, you calm them.

¹⁰You have broken Rahab in pieces, like one of the slain. You have scattered your enemies with your mighty arm.

¹¹The heavens are yours. The earth also is yours; the world and its fullness. You have founded them.

¹²The north and the south, you have created them. Tabor and Hermon rejoice in your name.

¹³You have a mighty arm. Your hand is strong, and your right hand is exalted.

¹⁴Righteousness and justice are the foundation of your throne. Loving kindness and truth go before your face.

¹⁵Blessed are the people who learn to acclaim you. They walk in the light of your presence, ForeverOne.

¹⁶In your name they rejoice all day. In your righteousness, they are exalted.

¹⁷For you are the glory of their strength. In your favor, our horn will be exalted.

¹⁸For our shield belongs to ForeverOne; our king to the Holy One of Israel.

¹⁹Then you spoke in vision to your saints, and said, "I have bestowed strength on the warrior. I have exalted a young man from the people.

²⁰I have found David, my servant. I have anointed him with my holy oil, ²¹with whom my hand shall be established. My arm will also strengthen him.

²²No enemy will tax him. No wicked man will oppress him.

²³I will beat down his adversaries before him, and strike those who hate him.

²⁴But my faithfulness and my loving kindness will be with him. In my name, his horn will be exalted.

²⁵I will set his hand also on the sea, and his right hand on the rivers.

²⁶He will call to me, 'You are my Father, my God, and the rock of my salvation!'

1 Corinthians Chapter 10

¹⁴So, my dear-ones, flee from idolatry.

¹⁵I speak as to wise men. Judge what I say.

¹⁶The cup of blessing which we bless, isn't it a sharing of the blood of the AnointedOne? The bread which we break, isn't it a sharing of the body of the AnointedOne?

¹⁷Because there is one loaf of bread, we, who are many, are one body; for we all partake of the one loaf of bread.

¹⁸Consider Israel according to the flesh. Don't those who eat the sacrifices participate in the altar?

¹⁹What am I saying then? That a thing sacrificed to idols is anything, or that an idol is anything?

²⁰But I say that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to demons, and not to God, and I don't desire that you would have fellowship with demons.

²¹You can't both drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons. You can't both partake of the table of the Lord and of the table of demons.

²²Or do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? Are we stronger than he?

²³"All things are lawful for me," but not all things are profitable. "All things are lawful for me," but not all things build up.

²⁴Let no one seek his own, but each one his neighbor's good.

²⁵Whatever is sold in the butcher shop, eat, asking no question for the sake of conscience, ²⁶for "the earth is ForeverOne's, and its fullness." ²⁷But if one of those who don't believe invites you to a meal, and you are inclined to go, eat whatever is set before you, asking no questions for the sake of conscience.

²⁸But if anyone says to you, "This was offered to idols," don't eat it for the sake of the one who told you, and for the sake of conscience. For "the earth is ForeverOne's, with all its fullness." ²⁹Conscience, I say, not your own, but the other's conscience. For why is my liberty judged by another conscience?

³⁰If I partake with thankfulness, why am I denounced for something I give thanks for?

³¹So whether you eat, or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.

³²Give no occasion for stumbling, whether to Jews, or to Greeks, or to the assembly of God; ³³even as I also please all men in all things, not seeking my own profit, but the profit of the many, that they may be saved.

1 Corinthians Chapter 11

¹Be imitators of me, even as I also am of the AnointedOne.

²Now I praise you, brothers, that you remember me in all things, and hold firm the traditions, even as I delivered them to you.

³But I would have you know that the head of every man is the AnointedOne, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of the AnointedOne is God.

⁴Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonors his head.

⁵But every woman praying or prophesying with her head uncovered dishonors her head. For it is one and the same thing as if she were shaved.

⁶For if a woman is not covered, let her hair also be cut off. But if it is shameful for a woman to have her hair cut off or be shaved, let her be covered.
