Exodus Chapter 35

²⁵All the women who were wise-hearted spun with their hands, and brought what they had spun, the blue, the purple, the scarlet, and the fine linen.

²⁶All the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun the goats' hair.

²⁷The rulers brought the onyx stones, and the stones to be set, for the ephod and for the breastplate; ²⁸and the spice, and the oil for the light, for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.

²⁹The children of Israel brought a freewill offering to ForeverOne; every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all the work, which ForeverOne had commanded to be made by Moses.

³⁰Moses said to the children of Israel, "Behold, ForeverOne has called by name Bezalel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah.

³¹He has filled him with the Spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, in knowledge, and in all kinds of workmanship; ³²and to make skillful works, to work in gold, in silver, in brass, ³³in cutting of stones for setting, and in carving of wood, to work in all kinds of skillful workmanship.

³⁴He has put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Oholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.

³⁵He has filled them with wisdom of heart, to work all kinds of workmanship, of the engraver, of the skillful workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of those who do any workmanship, and of those who make skillful works.

Exodus Chapter 36

¹"Bezalel and Oholiab shall work with every wise-hearted man, in whom ForeverOne has put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all the work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that ForeverOne has commanded." ²Moses called Bezalel and Oholiab, and every wise-hearted man, in whose heart ForeverOne had put wisdom, even everyone whose heart stirred him up to come to the work to do it: ³and they received from Moses all the offering which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, with which to make it. They brought yet to him freewill offerings every morning.

⁴All the wise men, who performed all the work of the sanctuary, each came from his work which they did.

⁵They spoke to Moses, saying, "The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work which ForeverOne commanded to make." ⁶Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, "Let neither man nor woman make anything else for the offering for the sanctuary." So the people were restrained from bringing.

⁷For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.

2 Kings Chapter 11

¹⁷Jehoiada made a covenant between ForeverOne and the king and the people, that they should be ForeverOne's people; between the king also and the people.

¹⁸All the people of the land went to the house of Baal, and broke it down; his altars and his images broke they in pieces thoroughly, and killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. The priest appointed officers over the house of ForeverOne.

¹⁹He took the captains over hundreds, and the Carites, and the guard, and all the people of the land; and they brought down the king from the house of ForeverOne, and came by the road of the gate of the guard to the king's house. He sat on the throne of the kings.

²⁰So all the people of the land rejoiced, and the city was quiet. Athaliah they had slain with the sword at the king's house.

²¹Jehoash was seven years old when he began to reign.

2 Kings Chapter 12

¹In the seventh year of Jehu began Jehoash to reign; and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem: and his mother's name was Zibiah of Beersheba.

²Jehoash did what was right in the eyes of ForeverOne all his days in which Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

³However the high places were not taken away; the people still sacrificed and burned incense in the high places.

⁴Jehoash said to the priests, "All the money of the holy things that is brought into the house of ForeverOne, in current money, the money of the persons for whom each man is rated, and all the money that it comes into any man's heart to bring into the house of ForeverOne, ⁵let the priests take it to them, every man from his acquaintance; and they shall repair the breaches of the house, wherever any breach shall be found." ⁶But in the twenty-third year of king Jehoash the priests had not repaired the breaches of the house.

⁷Then king Jehoash called for Jehoiada the priest, and for the [other] priests, and said to them, "Why don't you repair the breaches of the house? Now therefore take no more money from your treasurers, but deliver it for the breaches of the house." ⁸The priests consented that they should take no [more] money from the people, neither repair the breaches of the house.

⁹But Jehoiada the priest took a chest, and bored a hole in its lid, and set it beside the altar, on the right side as one comes into the house of ForeverOne: and the priests who kept the threshold put in it all the money that was brought into the house of ForeverOne.

¹⁰When they saw that there was much money in the chest the king's scribe and the high priest came up, and they put up in bags and counted the money that was found in the house of ForeverOne.

¹¹They gave the money that was weighed out into the hands of those who did the work, who had the oversight of the house of ForeverOne: and they paid it out to the carpenters and the builders, who worked on the house of ForeverOne, ¹²and to the masons and the stone cutters, and for buying timber and cut stone to repair the breaches of the house of ForeverOne, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it.

¹³But there were not made for the house of ForeverOne cups of silver, snuffers, basins, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of silver, of the money that was brought into the house of ForeverOne; ¹⁴for they gave that to those who did the work, and repaired with it the house of ForeverOne.

¹⁵Moreover they didn't demand an accounting from the men into whose hand they delivered the money to give to those who did the work; for they dealt faithfully.

¹⁶The money for the trespass offerings, and the money for the sin offerings, was not brought into the house of ForeverOne: it was the priests'.

¹⁷Then Hazael king of Syria went up, and fought against Gath, and took it; and Hazael set his face to go up to Jerusalem.

¹⁸Jehoash king of Judah took all the holy things that Jehoshaphat and Jehoram and Ahaziah, his fathers, kings of Judah, had dedicated, and his own holy things, and all the gold that was found in the treasures of the house of ForeverOne, and of the king's house, and sent it to Hazael king of Syria: and he went away from Jerusalem.

¹⁹Now the rest of the acts of Joash, and all that he did, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?

²⁰His servants arose, and made a conspiracy, and struck Joash at the house of Millo, [on the way] that goes down to Silla.

²¹For Jozacar the son of Shimeath, and Jehozabad the son of Shomer, his servants, struck him, and he died; and they buried him with his fathers in the city of David: and Amaziah his son reigned in his place.

Job Chapter 3

¹After this Job opened his mouth, and cursed the day of his birth.

²Job answered: ³"Let the day perish in which I was born, the night which said, 'There is a boy conceived.' ⁴Let that day be darkness. Don't let God from above seek for it, neither let the light shine on it.

⁵Let darkness and the shadow of death claim it for their own. Let a cloud dwell on it. Let all that makes black the day terrify it.

⁶As for that night, let thick darkness seize on it. Let it not rejoice among the days of the year. Let it not come into the number of the months.

⁷Let that night be barren. Let no joyful voice come [in it].

⁸Let them curse it who curse the day, who are ready to rouse up leviathan.

⁹Let the stars of its twilight be dark. Let it look for light, but have none, neither let it see the eyelids of the morning, ¹⁰because it didn't shut up the doors of my mother's womb, nor did it hide trouble from my eyes.

¹¹"Why didn't I die from the womb? Why didn't I breathe my last when my mother bore me?

¹²Why did the knees receive me? Or why the breast, that I should nurse?

¹³For now should I have lain down and been quiet. I should have slept, then I would have been at rest, ¹⁴with kings and counselors of the earth, who built up waste places for themselves; ¹⁵or with princes who had gold, who filled their houses with silver: ¹⁶or as a hidden untimely birth I had not been, as infants who never saw light.

¹⁷There the wicked cease from troubling. There the weary are at rest.

¹⁸There the prisoners are at ease together. They don't hear the voice of the taskmaster.

¹⁹The small and the great are there. The servant is free from his master.

²⁰"Why is light given to him who is in misery, life to the bitter in soul, ²¹Who long for death, but it doesn't come; and dig for it more than for hidden treasures, ²²who rejoice exceedingly, and are glad, when they can find the grave?

²³Why is light given to a man whose way is hidden, whom God has hedged in?

²⁴For my sighing comes before I eat. My groanings are poured out like water.

²⁵For the thing which I fear comes on me, what I am afraid of comes to me.

²⁶I am not at ease, neither am I quiet, neither have I rest; but trouble comes."

John Chapter 12

²⁰Now there were certain Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast.

²¹So they came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and asked him, saying, "Sir, we want to see Jesus." ²²Philip came and told Andrew, and in turn, Andrew came with Philip, and they told Jesus.

²³Jesus answered them, "The time has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

²⁴Most certainly I tell you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains by itself alone. But if it dies, it bears much fruit.

²⁵He who loves his life will lose it. He who hates his life in this world will keep it to eternal life.

²⁶If anyone serves me, let him follow me. Where I am, there my servant will also be. If anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.

²⁷"Now my soul is troubled. What shall I say? 'Father, save me from this time?' But I came to this time for this cause.

²⁸Father, glorify your name!" Then a voice came out of the sky, saying, "I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again." ²⁹Then the multitude who stood by and heard it said that it had thundered. Others said, "An angel has spoken to him." ³⁰Jesus answered, "This voice hasn't come for my sake, but for your sakes.

³¹Now is the judgment of this world. Now the prince of this world will be thrown out.

³²And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all people to myself." ³³But he said this, signifying by what kind of death he should die.

³⁴The multitude answered him, "We have heard out of the law that the AnointedOne remains forever. How do you say, 'The Son of Man must be lifted up?' Who is this Son of Man?" ³⁵So Jesus said to them, "Yet a little while the light is with you. Walk while you have the light, that darkness doesn't overtake you. He who walks in the darkness doesn't know where he is going.

³⁶While you have the light, believe in the light, that you may become children of light." Jesus said these things, and he departed and hid himself from them.

³⁷But though he had done so many signs before them, yet they didn't believe in him, ³⁸that the word of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, "ForeverOne, who has believed our report? To whom has the arm of ForeverOne been revealed?" ³⁹For this cause they couldn't believe, for Isaiah said again, ⁴⁰"He has blinded their eyes and he hardened their heart, lest they should see with their eyes, and perceive with their heart, and would turn, and I would heal them." ⁴¹Isaiah said these things when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.

⁴²Nevertheless even many of the rulers believed in him, but because of the Pharisees they didn't confess it, so that they wouldn't be put out of the synagogue, ⁴³for they loved men's praise more than God's praise.
