Deuteronomy 33:24-34:12

18 verses

Deuteronomy Chapter 33

24Of Asher he said, "Asher is blessed with children. Let him be acceptable to his brothers. Let him dip his foot in oil.

25Your bars shall be iron and brass. As your days, so your strength will be.

26"There is none like God, Jeshurun, who rides on the heavens for your help, In his excellency on the skies.

27The eternal God is [your] dwelling place. Underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and said, 'Destroy!' 28Israel dwells in safety; the fountain of Jacob alone, In a land of grain and new wine. Yes, his heavens drop down dew.

29You are happy, Israel. Who is like you, a people saved by ForeverOne, the shield of your help, the sword of your excellency! Your enemies shall submit themselves to you. You shall tread on their high places."

Deuteronomy Chapter 34

1Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that is over against Jericho. ForeverOne showed him all the land of Gilead, to Dan, 2and all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, to the hind sea, 3and the South, and the Plain of the valley of Jericho the city of palm trees, to Zoar.

4ForeverOne said to him, "This is the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, 'I will give it to your offspring.' I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not go over there." 5So Moses the servant of ForeverOne died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of ForeverOne.

6He buried him in the valley in the land of Moab over against Beth Peor: but no man knows of his tomb to this day.

7Moses was one hundred twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

8The children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping in the mourning for Moses were ended.

9Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands on him: and the children of Israel listened to him, and did as ForeverOne commanded Moses.

10There has not arisen a prophet since in Israel like Moses, whom ForeverOne knew face to face, 11in all the signs and the wonders, which ForeverOne sent him to do in the land of Egypt, to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land, 12and in all the mighty hand, and in all the great terror, which Moses worked in the sight of all Israel.

Section 2

Malachi 2:13-4:6

29 verses

Malachi Chapter 2

13This again you do: you cover the altar of ForeverOne with tears, with weeping, and with sighing, because he doesn't regard the offering any more, neither receives it with good will at your hand.

14Yet you say, 'Why?' Because ForeverOne has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously, though she is your companion, and the wife of your covenant.

15Did he not make you one, although he had the residue of the Spirit? Why one? He sought a Godly offspring. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let no one deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.

16For I hate divorce," says ForeverOne, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" says ForeverOne of Armies. "Therefore take heed to your spirit, that you don't deal treacherously.

17You have wearied ForeverOne with your words. Yet you say, 'How have we wearied him?' In that you say, 'Everyone who does evil is good in the sight of ForeverOne, and he delights in them;' or 'Where is the God of justice?'

Malachi Chapter 3

1"Behold, I send my messenger, and he will prepare the way before me; and the Lord, whom you seek, will suddenly come to his temple; and the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, behold, he comes!" says ForeverOne of Armies.

2"But who can endure the day of his coming? And who will stand when he appears? For he is like a refiner's fire, and like launderer's soap; 3and he will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver, and he will purify the sons of Levi, and refine them as gold and silver; and they shall offer to ForeverOne offerings in righteousness.

4Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasant to ForeverOne, as in the days of old, and as in ancient years.

5I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against the perjurers, and against those who oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and who deprive the foreigner of justice, and don't fear me," says ForeverOne of Armies.

6"For I, ForeverOne, don't change; therefore you, sons of Jacob, are not consumed.

7From the days of your fathers you have turned away from my ordinances, and have not kept them. Return to me, and I will return to you," says ForeverOne of Armies. "But you say, 'How shall we return?' 8Will a man rob God? Yet you rob me! But you say, 'How have we robbed you?' In tithes and offerings.

9You are cursed with the curse; for you rob me, even this whole nation.

10Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says ForeverOne of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for.

11I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; nor will your vine shed its fruit before its time in the field," says ForeverOne of Armies.

12"All nations shall call you blessed, for you will be a delightful land," says ForeverOne of Armies.

13"Your words have been stout against me," says ForeverOne. "Yet you say, 'What have we spoken against you?' 14You have said, 'It is vain to serve God;' and 'What profit is it that we have followed his instructions, and that we have walked mournfully before ForeverOne of Armies?

15Now we call the proud happy; yes, those who work wickedness are built up; yes, they tempt God, and escape.' 16Then those who feared ForeverOne spoke one with another; and ForeverOne listened, and heard, and a book of memory was written before him, for those who feared ForeverOne, and who honored his name.

17They shall be mine," says ForeverOne of Armies, "my own possession in the day that I make, and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son who serves him.

18Then you shall return and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him who serves God and him who doesn't serve him.

Malachi Chapter 4

1"For, behold, the day comes, it burns as a furnace; and all the proud, and all who work wickedness, will be stubble; and the day that comes will burn them up," says ForeverOne of Armies, "that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.

2But to you who fear my name shall the sun of righteousness arise with healing in its wings. You will go out, and leap like calves of the stall.

3You shall tread down the wicked; for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I make," says ForeverOne of Armies.

4"Remember the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded to him in Horeb for all Israel, even statutes and ordinances.

5Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and terrible day of ForeverOne comes.

6He will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."

Section 3

Daniel 11:40-12:13

19 verses

Daniel Chapter 11

40At the time of the end shall the king of the south contend with him; and the king of the north shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, and with horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter into the countries, and shall overflow and pass through.

41He shall enter also into the glorious land, and many [countries] shall be overthrown; but these shall be delivered out of his hand: Edom, and Moab, and the chief of the children of Ammon.

42He shall stretch forth his hand also on the countries; and the land of Egypt shall not escape.

43But he shall have power over the treasures of gold and of silver, and over all the precious things of Egypt; and the Libyans and the Ethiopians shall be at his steps.

44But news out of the east and out of the north shall trouble him; and he shall go forth with great fury to destroy and utterly to sweep away many.

45He shall plant the tents of his palace between the sea and the glorious holy mountain; yet he shall come to his end, and none shall help him.

Daniel Chapter 12

1"At that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince who stands for the children of your people; and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who shall be found written in the book.

2Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3Those who are wise shall shine as the brightness of the expanse; and those who turn many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.

4But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end: many shall run back and forth, and knowledge shall be increased." 5Then I, Daniel, looked, and behold, two others stood, one on the river bank on this side, and the other on the river bank on that side.

6One said to the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders?

7I heard the man clothed in linen, who was above the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand to heaven, and swore by him who lives forever that it shall be for a time, times, and a half; and when they have finished breaking in pieces the power of the holy people, all these things will be finished.

8I heard, but I didn't understand: then I said, my lord, what shall be the issue of these things?

9He said, Go your way, Daniel; for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

10Many shall purify themselves, and make themselves white, and be refined; but the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand; but those who are wise shall understand.

11From the time that the continual [burnt offering] shall be taken away, and the abomination that makes desolate set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred ninety days.

12Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred thirty-five days.

13But go you your way until the end; for you shall rest, and shall stand in your lot, at the end of the days.

Section 4

Revelation 22

21 verses

Revelation Chapter 22

1He showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb, 2in the middle of its street. On this side of the river and on that was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

3There will be no curse any more. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will serve him.

4They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

5There will be no night, and they need no lamp light or sun light; for ForeverOne God will illuminate them. They will reign forever and ever.

6He said to me, "These words are faithful and true. ForeverOne God of the spirits of the prophets sent his angel to show to his bondservants the things which must happen soon." 7"Behold, I come quickly. Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book." 8Now I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the angel who had shown me these things.

9He said to me, "See you don't do it! I am a fellow bondservant with you and with your brothers, the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God." 10He said to me, "Don't seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand.

11He who acts unjustly, let him act unjustly still. He who is filthy, let him be filthy still. He who is righteous, let him do righteousness still. He who is holy, let him be holy still." 12"Behold, I come quickly. My reward is with me, to repay to each man according to his work.

13I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.

14Blessed are those who do his commandments, that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter in by the gates into the city.

15Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for the assemblies. I am the root and the offspring of David; the Bright and Morning Star." 17The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" He who hears, let him say, "Come!" He who is thirsty, let him come. He who desires, let him take the water of life freely.

18I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book, if anyone adds to them, may God add to him the plagues which are written in this book.

19If anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, may God take away his part from the tree of life, and out of the holy city, which are written in this book.

20He who testifies these things says, "Yes, I come quickly." Amen! Yes, come, Lord Jesus.

21The grace of the Lord Jesus AnointedOne be with all the saints. Amen.
