Leviticus Chapter 24

¹ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, ²"Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.

³Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, shall Aaron keep it in order from evening to morning before ForeverOne continually: it shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.

⁴He shall keep in order the lamps on the pure gold lampstand before ForeverOne continually.

⁵"You shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenth parts of an ephah shall be in one cake.

⁶You shall set them in two rows, six on a row, on the pure gold table before ForeverOne.

⁷You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to ForeverOne.

⁸Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before ForeverOne continually. It is on the behalf of the children of Israel an everlasting covenant.

⁹It shall be for Aaron and his sons; and they shall eat it in a holy place: for it is most holy to him of the offerings of ForeverOne made by fire by a perpetual statute." ¹⁰The son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp.

¹¹The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother's name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.

¹²They put him in custody, until the will of ForeverOne should be declared to them.

¹³ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, ¹⁴"Bring out of the camp him who cursed; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.

¹⁵You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.

¹⁶He who blasphemes the name of ForeverOne, he shall surely be put to death; all the congregation shall certainly stone him: the foreigner as well as the native-born, when he blasphemes the Name, shall be put to death.

Isaiah Chapter 55

⁶Seek ForeverOne while he may be found; call you on him while he is near: ⁷let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to ForeverOne, and he will have mercy on him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

⁸"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways," says ForeverOne.

⁹"For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

¹⁰For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn't return there, but waters the earth, and makes it produce and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; ¹¹so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do.

¹²For you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing; and all the trees of the fields shall clap their hands.

¹³Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree; and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to ForeverOne for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off."

Psalm 36

For the Chief Musician. By David, the servant of ForeverOne.

¹An oracle is within my heart about the disobedience of the wicked: "There is no fear of God before his eyes." ²For he flatters himself in his own eyes, too much to detect and hate his sin.

³The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit. He has ceased to be wise and to do good.

⁴He plots iniquity on his bed. He sets himself in a way that is not good. He doesn't abhor evil.

⁵Your loving kindness, ForeverOne, is in the heavens. Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

⁶Your righteousness is like the mountains of God. Your judgments are like a great deep. ForeverOne, you preserve man and animal.

⁷How precious is your loving kindness, God! The children of men take refuge under the shadow of your wings.

⁸They shall be abundantly satisfied with the abundance of your house. You will make them drink of the river of your pleasures.

⁹For with you is the spring of life. In your light shall we see light.

¹⁰Oh continue your loving kindness to those who know you, your righteousness to the upright in heart.

¹¹Don't let the foot of pride come against me. Don't let the hand of the wicked drive me away.

¹²There the workers of iniquity are fallen. They are thrust down, and shall not be able to rise.

Acts Chapter 24

⁵For we have found this man to be a plague, an instigator of insurrections among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes.

⁶[*He even tried to profane the temple, and we arrested him. [Omitted from WEB - We wanted to judge him according to our law]] ⁷[*[Omitted from WEB - But the chief captain, Lysias, came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands.]] ⁸[*By examining him yourself you may ascertain all these things of which we accuse him."] ⁹The Jews also joined in the attack, affirming that these things were so.

¹⁰When the governor had beckoned to him to speak, Paul answered, "Because I know that you have been a judge of this nation for many years, I cheerfully make my defense, ¹¹seeing that you can verify that it is not more than twelve days since I went up to worship at Jerusalem.

¹²In the temple they didn't find me disputing with anyone or stirring up a crowd, either in the synagogues, or in the city.

¹³Nor can they prove to you the things of which they now accuse me.

¹⁴But this I confess to you, that after the Way, which they call a sect, so I serve the God of our fathers, believing all things which are according to the law, and which are written in the prophets; ¹⁵having hope toward God, which these also themselves look for, that there will be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and unjust.

¹⁶And I always do my best to keep a conscience clear of offense towards God and humans.

¹⁷Now after some years, I came to bring gifts for the needy to my nation, and offerings; ¹⁸amid which certain Jews from Asia found me purified in the temple, not with a mob, nor with turmoil.

¹⁹They ought to have been here before you, and to make accusation, if they had anything against me.

²⁰Or else let these men themselves say what injustice they found in me when I stood before the council, ²¹unless it is for this one thing that I cried standing among them, 'Concerning the resurrection of the dead I am being judged before you today!'" ²²But Felix, having more exact knowledge concerning the Way, deferred them, saying, "When Lysias, the commanding officer, comes down, I will decide your case." ²³He ordered the centurion that Paul should be kept in custody, and should have some privileges, and not to forbid any of his friends to serve him or to visit him.

²⁴But after some days, Felix came with Drusilla, his wife, who was a Jewess, and sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in AnointedOne Jesus.

²⁵As he reasoned about righteousness, self-control, and the judgment to come, Felix was terrified, and answered, "Go your way for this time, and when it is convenient for me, I will summon you." ²⁶Meanwhile, he also hoped that money would be given to him by Paul, that he might release him. So he also sent for him more often and talked with him.
