Numbers Chapter 7

78On the twelfth day Ahira the son of Enan, prince of the children of Naphtali 79gave his offering: one silver platter, the weight of which was one hundred thirty shekels, one silver bowl of seventy shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; both of them full of fine flour mixed with oil for a meal offering; 80one golden spoon of ten shekels, full of incense; 81one young bull, one ram, one male lamb a year old, for a burnt offering; 82one male goat for a sin offering; 83and for the sacrifice of peace offerings, two head of cattle, five rams, five male goats, and five male lambs a year old. This was the offering of Ahira the son of Enan.

84This was the dedication of the altar, on the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve silver platters, twelve silver bowls, twelve golden ladles; 85each silver platter weighing one hundred thirty shekels, and each bowl seventy; all the silver of the vessels two thousand four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary; 86the twelve golden ladles, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary; all the gold of the ladles weighed one hundred twenty shekels; 87all the cattle for the burnt offering twelve bulls, the rams twelve, the male lambs a year old twelve, and their meal offering; and the male goats for a sin offering twelve; 88and all the cattle for the sacrifice of peace offerings twenty-four bulls, the rams sixty, the male goats sixty, the male lambs a year old sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after it was anointed.

89When Moses went into the Tent of Meeting to speak with ForeverOne, he heard his voice speaking to him from above the mercy seat that was on the ark of the Testimony, from between the two cherubim: and he spoke to him.

Numbers Chapter 8

1ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, 2"Speak to Aaron, and tell him, 'When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lampstand.'" 3Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lampstand, as ForeverOne commanded Moses.

4This was the workmanship of the lampstand, beaten work of gold. From its base to its flowers, it was beaten work: according to the pattern which ForeverOne had shown Moses, so he made the lampstand.

Jeremiah 23:33-25:7

25 verses

Jeremiah Chapter 23

33When this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden of ForeverOne? Then you shall tell them, What burden! I will reject you, says ForeverOne.

34As for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, who shall say, The burden of ForeverOne, I will even punish that man and his house.

35You shall say everyone to his neighbor, and everyone to his brother, What has ForeverOne answered? and, What has ForeverOne spoken?

36You shall mention the burden of ForeverOne no more: for every man's own word shall be his burden; for you have perverted the words of the living God, of ForeverOne of Armies our God.

37You shall say to the prophet, What has ForeverOne answered you? and, What has ForeverOne spoken?

38But if you say, The burden of ForeverOne; therefore thus says ForeverOne: Because you say this word, The burden of ForeverOne, and I have sent to you, saying, You shall not say, The burden of ForeverOne; 39therefore, behold, I will utterly forget you, and I will reject you, and the city that I gave to you and to your fathers, away from my presence: 40and I will bring an everlasting reproach on you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.

Jeremiah Chapter 24

1ForeverOne showed me, and behold, two baskets of figs set before the temple of ForeverOne, after that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the craftsmen and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.

2One basket had very good figs, like the figs that are first-ripe; and the other basket had very bad figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.

3Then ForeverOne said to me, What do you see, Jeremiah? I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the bad, very bad, that can't be eaten, they are so bad.

4The word of ForeverOne came to me, saying, 5Thus says ForeverOne, the God of Israel: Like these good figs, so will I regard the captives of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans, for good.

6For I will set my eyes on them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.

7I will give them a heart to know me, that I am ForeverOne: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return to me with their whole heart.

8As the bad figs, which can't be eaten, they are so bad, surely thus says ForeverOne, So will I give up Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, who remain in this land, and those who dwell in the land of Egypt, 9I will even give them up to be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth for evil; to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.

10I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, until they be consumed from off the land that I gave to them and to their fathers.

Jeremiah Chapter 25

1The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah (which was the first year of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon), 2which Jeremiah the prophet spoke to all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying: 3From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon, king of Judah, even to this day, these twenty-three years, the word of ForeverOne has come to me, and I have spoken to you, rising up early and speaking; but you have not listened.

4ForeverOne has sent to you all his servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them (but you have not listened, nor inclined your ear to hear) 5saying, Return now everyone from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that ForeverOne has given to you and to your fathers, from of old and even forevermore; 6and don't go after other gods to serve them or worship them, and don't provoke me to anger with the work of your hands; and I will do you no harm.

7Yet you have not listened to me, says ForeverOne; that you may provoke me to anger with the work of your hands to your own hurt.

Section 3

Psalm 78:36-72

37 verses

Psalm 78

36But they flattered him with their mouth, and lied to him with their tongue.

37For their heart was not right with him, neither were they faithful in his covenant.

38But he, being merciful, forgave iniquity, and didn't destroy them. Yes, many times he turned his anger away, and didn't stir up all his wrath.

39He remembered that they were but flesh, a wind that passes away, and doesn't return.

40How often they rebelled against him in the wilderness, and grieved him in the desert!

41They turned again and tempted God, and provoked the Holy One of Israel.

42They didn't remember his hand, nor the day when he redeemed them from the adversary; 43how he set his signs in Egypt, his wonders in the field of Zoan, 44he turned their rivers into blood, and their streams, so that they could not drink.

45He sent among them swarms of flies, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.

46He gave also their increase to the caterpillar, and their labor to the locust.

47He destroyed their vines with hail, their sycamore fig trees with frost.

48He gave over their livestock also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.

49He threw on them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, indignation, and trouble, and a band of angels of evil.

50He made a path for his anger. He didn't spare their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence, 51and struck all the firstborn in Egypt, the chief of their strength in the tents of Ham.

52But he led out his own people like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

53He led them safely, so that they weren't afraid, but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

54He brought them to the border of his sanctuary, to this mountain, which his right hand had taken.

55He also drove out the nations before them, allotted them for an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

56Yet they tempted and rebelled against the Most High God, and didn't keep his testimonies; 57but turned back, and dealt treacherously like their fathers. They were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

58For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their engraved images.

59When God heard this, he was angry, and greatly abhorred Israel; 60So that he forsook the tent of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men; 61and delivered his strength into captivity, his glory into the adversary's hand.

62He also gave his people over to the sword, and was angry with his inheritance.

63Fire devoured their young men. Their virgins had no wedding song.

64Their priests fell by the sword, and their widows couldn't weep.

65Then LordOfMine awakened as one out of sleep, like a mighty man who shouts by reason of wine.

66He struck his adversaries backward. He put them to a perpetual reproach.

67Moreover he rejected the tent of Joseph, and didn't choose the tribe of Ephraim, 68But chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion which he loved.

69He built his sanctuary like the heights, like the earth which he has established forever.

70He also chose David his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds; 71from following the ewes that have their young, he brought him to be the shepherd of Jacob, his people, and Israel, his inheritance.

72So he was their shepherd according to the integrity of his heart, and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

1 Corinthians 4

21 verses

1 Corinthians Chapter 4

1So let a man think of us as the AnointedOne's servants, and stewards of God's mysteries.

2Here, moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

3But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you, or by man's judgment. Yes, I don't judge my own self.

4For I know nothing against myself. Yet I am not justified by this, but he who judges me is the Lord.

5So judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each man will get his praise from God.

6Now these things, brothers, I have in a figure transferred to myself and Apollos for your sakes, that in us you might learn not to think beyond the things which are written, that none of you be puffed up against one another.

7For who makes you different? And what do you have that you didn't receive? But if you did receive it, why do you boast as if you had not received it?

8You are already filled. You have already become rich. You have come to reign without us. Yes, and I wish that you did reign, that we also might reign with you.

9For I think that God has displayed us, the apostles, last of all, like men sentenced to death. For we are made a spectacle to the world, both to angels and men.

10We are fools for the AnointedOne's sake, but you are wise in the AnointedOne. We are weak, but you are strong. You have honor, but we have dishonor.

11Even to this present hour we hunger, thirst, are naked, are beaten, and have no certain dwelling place.

12We toil, working with our own hands. When people curse us, we bless. Being persecuted, we endure.

13Being defamed, we entreat. We are made as the filth of the world, the dirt wiped off by all, even until now.

14I don't write these things to shame you, but to admonish you as my dear children.

15For though you have ten thousand tutors in the AnointedOne, you don't have many fathers. For in AnointedOne Jesus, I became your father through the Good News.

16So, I beg you, be imitators of me.

17Because of this I have sent Timothy to you, who is my dear and faithful child in the Lord, who will remind you of my ways which are in the AnointedOne, even as I teach everywhere in every assembly.

18Now some are puffed up, as though I were not coming to you.

19But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord is willing. And I will know, not the word of those who are puffed up, but the power.

20For God's Kingdom is not in word, but in power.

21What do you want? Shall I come to you with a rod, or in love and a spirit of gentleness?
