Leviticus Chapter 23

²⁶ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, ²⁷"However on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation to you, and you shall afflict yourselves; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to ForeverOne.

²⁸You shall do no kind of work in that same day; for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before ForeverOne your God.

²⁹For whoever it is who shall not deny himself in that same day; shall be cut off from his people.

³⁰Whoever it is who does any kind of work in that same day, that person I will destroy from among his people.

³¹You shall do no kind of work: it is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

³²It shall be a Sabbath of solemn rest for you, and you shall deny yourselves. In the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall keep your Sabbath." ³³ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, ³⁴"Speak to the children of Israel, and say, 'On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of tents for seven days to ForeverOne.

³⁵On the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no regular work.

³⁶Seven days you shall offer an offering made by fire to ForeverOne. On the eighth day shall be a holy convocation to you; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to ForeverOne. It is a solemn assembly; you shall do no regular work.

³⁷"'These are the appointed feasts of ForeverOne, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to ForeverOne, a burnt offering, and a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day; ³⁸besides the Sabbaths of ForeverOne, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides all your freewill offerings, which you give to ForeverOne.

³⁹"'So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of ForeverOne seven days: on the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.

⁴⁰You shall take on the first day the fruit of goodly trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before ForeverOne your God seven days.

⁴¹You shall keep it a feast to ForeverOne seven days in the year: it is a statute forever throughout your generations; you shall keep it in the seventh month.

⁴²You shall dwell in booths seven days. All who are native-born in Israel shall dwell in booths, ⁴³that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in booths, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am ForeverOne your God.'" ⁴⁴Moses declared to the children of Israel the appointed feasts of ForeverOne.

Isaiah Chapter 54

¹"Sing, barren one, you who didn't give birth! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you who did not travail with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married," says ForeverOne.

²"Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of your habitations; don't spare: lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes.

³For you shall spread out on the right hand and on the left; and your offspring shall possess the nations, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.

⁴"Don't be afraid; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be confounded; for you shall not be disappointed: for you shall forget the shame of your youth; and the reproach of your widowhood you shall remember no more.

⁵For your Maker is your husband; ForeverOne of Armies is his name: and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer; he shall be called the God of the whole earth.

⁶For ForeverOne has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is rejected," says your God.

⁷"For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you.

⁸In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting loving kindness will I have mercy on you," says ForeverOne your Redeemer.

⁹"For this is like the waters of Noah to me; for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah shall no more go over the earth, so have I sworn that I will not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.

¹⁰For the mountains may depart, and the hills be removed; but my loving kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall my covenant of peace be removed," says ForeverOne who has mercy on you.

¹¹"You afflicted, tossed with storms, and not comforted, behold, I will set your stones in beautiful colors, and lay your foundations with sapphires.

¹²I will make your pinnacles of rubies, and your gates of sparkling jewels, and all your walls of precious stones.

¹³All your children shall be taught of ForeverOne; and great shall be the peace of your children.

¹⁴In righteousness you shall be established: you shall be far from oppression, for you shall not be afraid; and from terror, for it shall not come near you.

¹⁵Behold, they may gather together, but not by me: whoever shall gather together against you shall fall because of you.

¹⁶"Behold, I have created the smith who blows the fire of coals, and produces a weapon for his work; and I have created the waster to destroy.

¹⁷No weapon that is formed against you will prevail; and you will condemn every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of ForeverOne, and their righteousness which is of me," says ForeverOne.

Isaiah Chapter 55

¹"Come, everyone who thirsts, to the waters! Come, he who has no money, buy, and eat! Yes, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.

²Why do you spend money for what is not bread? and your labor for what doesn't satisfy? listen diligently to me, and eat you what is good, and let your soul delight itself in abundance.

³Turn your ear, and come to me; hear, and your soul shall live: and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.

⁴Behold, I have given him for a witness to the peoples, a leader and commander to the peoples.

⁵Behold, you shall call a nation that you don't know; and a nation that didn't know you shall run to you, because of ForeverOne your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you."

Psalm 35

¹Contend, ForeverOne, with those who contend with me. Fight against those who fight against me.

²Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for my help.

³Brandish the spear and block those who pursue me. Tell my soul, "I am your salvation." ⁴Let those who seek after my soul be disappointed and brought to dishonor. Let those who plot my ruin be turned back and confounded.

⁵Let them be as chaff before the wind, ForeverOne's angel driving them on.

⁶Let their way be dark and slippery, ForeverOne's angel pursuing them.

⁷For without cause they have hidden their net in a pit for me. Without cause they have dug a pit for my soul.

⁸Let destruction come on him unawares. Let his net that he has hidden catch himself. Let him fall into that destruction.

⁹My soul shall be joyful in ForeverOne. It shall rejoice in his salvation.

¹⁰All my bones shall say, "ForeverOne, who is like you, who delivers the poor from him who is too strong for him; yes, the poor and the needy from him who robs him?" ¹¹Unrighteous witnesses rise up. They ask me about things that I don't know about.

¹²They reward me evil for good, to the bereaving of my soul.

¹³But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth. I afflicted my soul with fasting. My prayer returned into my own bosom.

¹⁴I behaved myself as though it had been my friend or my brother. I bowed down mourning, as one who mourns his mother.

¹⁵But in my adversity, they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together. The attackers gathered themselves together against me, and I didn't know it. They tore at me, and didn't cease.

¹⁶Like the profane mockers in feasts, they gnashed their teeth at me.

¹⁷LordOfMine, how long will you look on? Rescue my soul from their destruction, my precious life from the lions.

¹⁸I will give you thanks in the great assembly. I will praise you among many people.

¹⁹Don't let those who are my enemies wrongfully rejoice over me; neither let those who hate me without a cause wink their eyes.

²⁰For they don't speak peace, but they devise deceitful words against those who are quiet in the land.

²¹Yes, they opened their mouth wide against me. They said, "Aha! Aha! Our eye has seen it!" ²²You have seen it, ForeverOne. Don't keep silent. LordOfMine, don't be far from me.

²³Wake up! Rise up to defend me, my God! LordOfMine, contend for me!

²⁴Vindicate me, ForeverOne my God, according to your righteousness. Don't let them gloat over me.

²⁵Don't let them say in their heart, "Aha! That's the way we want it!" Don't let them say, "We have swallowed him up!" ²⁶Let them be disappointed and confounded together who rejoice at my calamity. Let them be clothed with shame and dishonor who magnify themselves against me.

²⁷Let them shout for joy and be glad, who favor my righteous cause. Yes, let them say continually, "ForeverOne be magnified, who has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant!" ²⁸My tongue shall talk about your righteousness and about your praise all day long.

Acts Chapter 23

²²So the commanding officer let the young man go, charging him, "Tell no one that you have revealed these things to me." ²³He called to himself two of the centurions, and said, "Prepare two hundred soldiers to go as far as Caesarea, with seventy horsemen, and two hundred men armed with spears, at the third hour of the night." ²⁴He asked them to provide animals, that they might set Paul on one, and bring him safely to Felix the governor.

²⁵He wrote a letter like this: ²⁶"Claudius Lysias to the most excellent governor Felix: Greetings.

²⁷"This man was seized by the Jews, and was about to be killed by them, when I came with the soldiers and rescued him, having learned that he was a Roman.

²⁸Desiring to know the cause why they accused him, I brought him down to their council.

²⁹I found him to be accused about questions of their law, but not to be charged with anything worthy of death or of imprisonment.

³⁰When I was told that the Jews lay in wait for the man, I sent him to you immediately, charging his accusers also to bring their accusations against him before you. Farewell." ³¹So the soldiers, carrying out their orders, took Paul and brought him by night to Antipatris.

³²But on the next day they left the horsemen to go with him, and returned to the barracks.

³³When they came to Caesarea and delivered the letter to the governor, they also presented Paul to him.

³⁴When the governor had read it, he asked what province he was from. When he understood that he was from Cilicia, he said, ³⁵"I will hear you fully when your accusers also arrive." He commanded that he be kept in Herod's palace.

Acts Chapter 24

¹After five days, the high priest, Ananias, came down with certain elders and an orator, one Tertullus. They informed the governor against Paul.

²When he was called, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, "Seeing that by you we enjoy much peace, and that prosperity is coming to this nation by your foresight, ³we accept it in all ways and in all places, most excellent Felix, with all thankfulness.

⁴But that I don't delay you, I entreat you to bear with us and hear a few words.
