Numbers 22:13-27

15 verses

Numbers Chapter 22

13Balaam rose up in the morning, and said to the princes of Balak, "Go to your land; for ForeverOne refuses to permit me to go with you." 14The princes of Moab rose up, and they went to Balak, and said, "Balaam refuses to come with us." 15Balak sent yet again princes, more, and more honorable than they.

16They came to Balaam, and said to him, "Thus says Balak the son of Zippor, 'Please let nothing hinder you from coming to me: 17for I will promote you to very great honor, and whatever you say to me I will do. Please come therefore, and curse this people for me.'" 18Balaam answered the servants of Balak, "If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can't go beyond the word of ForeverOne my God, to do less or more.

19Now therefore, please wait also here this night, that I may know what ForeverOne will speak to me more." 20God came to Balaam at night, and said to him, "If the men have come to call you, rise up, go with them; but only the word which I speak to you, that you shall do." 21Balaam rose up in the morning, and saddled his donkey, and went with the princes of Moab.

22God's anger was kindled because he went; and the angel of ForeverOne placed himself in the way for an adversary against him. Now he was riding on his donkey, and his two servants were with him.

23The donkey saw the angel of ForeverOne standing in the way, with his sword drawn in his hand; and the donkey turned aside out of the way, and went into the field: and Balaam struck the donkey, to turn her into the way.

24Then the angel of ForeverOne stood in a narrow path between the vineyards, a wall being on this side, and a wall on that side.

25The donkey saw the angel of ForeverOne, and she thrust herself to the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he struck her again.

26The angel of ForeverOne went further, and stood in a narrow place, where there was no way to turn either to the right hand or to the left.

27The donkey saw the angel of ForeverOne, and she lay down under Balaam: and Balaam's anger was kindled, and he struck the donkey with his staff.

Jeremiah 51:24-48

25 verses

Jeremiah Chapter 51

24I will render to Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, says ForeverOne.

25Behold, I am against you, destroying mountain, says ForeverOne, which destroys all the earth; and I will stretch out my hand on you, and roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burnt mountain.

26They shall not take of you a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but you shall be desolate for ever, says ForeverOne.

27Set up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashkenaz: appoint a marshal against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough canker worm.

28Prepare against her the nations, the kings of the Medes, its governors, and all its deputies, and all the land of their dominion.

29The land trembles and is in pain; for the purposes of ForeverOne against Babylon do stand, to make the land of Babylon a desolation, without inhabitant.

30The mighty men of Babylon have forborne to fight, they remain in their strongholds; their might has failed; they are become as women: her dwelling places are set on fire; her bars are broken.

31One runner will run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken on every quarter: 32and the passages are seized, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are frightened.

33For thus says ForeverOne of Armies, the God of Israel: The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor at the time when it is trodden; yet a little while, and the time of harvest shall come for her.

34Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me, he has crushed me, he has made me an empty vessel, he has, like a monster, swallowed me up, he has filled his maw with my delicacies; he has washed me [away].

35The violence done to me and to my flesh be on Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and, My blood be on the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

36Therefore thus says ForeverOne: Behold, I will plead your cause, and take vengeance for you; and I will dry up her sea, and make her fountain dry.

37Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling place for jackals, an astonishment, and a hissing, without inhabitant.

38They shall roar together like young lions; they shall growl as lions' cubs.

39When they are heated, I will make their feast, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, says ForeverOne.

40I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with male goats.

41How is Sheshach taken! and the praise of the whole earth seized! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!

42The sea has come up on Babylon; she is covered with the multitude of its waves.

43Her cities are become a desolation, a dry land, and a desert, a land in which no man dwells, neither does any son of man pass thereby.

44I will execute judgment on Bel in Babylon, and I will produce out of his mouth what he has swallowed up; and the nations shall not flow any more to him: yes, the wall of Babylon shall fall.

45My people, go away from the midst of her, and save yourselves every man from the fierce anger of ForeverOne.

46Don't let your heart faint, neither fear for the news that shall be heard in the land; for news shall come one year, and after that in another year [shall come] news, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.

47Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will execute judgment on the engraved images of Babylon; and her whole land shall be confounded; and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.

48Then the heavens and the earth, and all that is in them, shall sing for joy over Babylon; for the destroyers shall come to her from the north, says ForeverOne.

Psalm 119:73-104

32 verses

Psalm 119

73[YUD] Your hands have made me and formed me. Give me understanding, that I may learn your commandments.

74Those who fear you will see me and be glad, because I have put my hope in your word.

75ForeverOne, I know that your judgments are righteous, that in faithfulness you have afflicted me.

76Please let your loving kindness be for my comfort, according to your word to your servant.

77Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.

78Let the proud be disappointed, for they have overthrown me wrongfully. I will meditate on your precepts.

79Let those who fear you turn to me. They will know your statutes.

80Let my heart be blameless toward your decrees, that I may not be disappointed.

81[KAF] My soul faints for your salvation. I hope in your word.

82My eyes fail for your word. I say, "When will you comfort me?" 83For I have become like a wineskin in the smoke. I don't forget your statutes.

84How many are the days of your servant? When will you execute judgment on those who persecute me?

85The proud have dug pits for me, contrary to your law.

86All of your commandments are faithful. They persecute me wrongfully. Help me!

87They had almost wiped me from the earth, but I didn't forsake your precepts.

88Preserve my life according to your loving kindness, so I will obey the statutes of your mouth.

89[LAMED] ForeverOne, your word is settled in heaven forever.

90Your faithfulness is to all generations. You have established the earth, and it remains.

91Your laws remain to this day, for all things serve you.

92Unless your law had been my delight, I would have perished in my affliction.

93I will never forget your precepts, for with them, you have revived me.

94I am yours. Save me, for I have sought your precepts.

95The wicked have waited for me, to destroy me. I will consider your statutes.

96I have seen a limit to all perfection, but your commands are boundless.

97[MEM] How I love your law! It is my meditation all day.

98Your commandments make me wiser than my enemies, for your commandments are always with me.

99I have more understanding than all my teachers, for your testimonies are my meditation.

100I understand more than the aged, because I have kept your precepts.

101I have kept my feet from every evil way, that I might observe your word.

102I have not turned aside from your ordinances, for you have taught me.

103How sweet are your promises to my taste, more than honey to my mouth!

104Through your precepts, I get understanding; therefore I hate every false way.

Galatians 3

Galatians Chapter 3

1Foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you not to obey the truth, before whose eyes Jesus AnointedOne was openly portrayed among you as crucified?

2I just want to learn this from you: Did you receive the Spirit by the actions of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

3Are you so foolish? Having begun in the Spirit, are you now completed in the flesh?

4Did you suffer so many things in vain, if it is indeed in vain?

5So the one who supplies the Spirit to you and does miracles among you, do they do it by the actions of the law, or by the hearing of faith?

6Just as Abraham "believed God, and it was counted to him for righteousness." 7So know that those who are of faith are children of Abraham.

8The Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the Good News beforehand to Abraham, saying, "In you all the nations will be blessed." 9So then, those who are of faith are blessed with the faithful Abraham.

10For as many as are of the actions of the law are under a curse. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who doesn't continue in all things that are written in the book of the law, to do them." 11Now, that no one is justified by the law before God is evident, for "The righteous will live by faith." 12The law is not of faith, but, "The person who does them will live by them." 13AnointedOne redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, "Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree", 14that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through AnointedOne Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

15Brothers, speaking of human terms, though it is only a human covenant, yet when it has been confirmed, no one makes it void or adds to it.

16Now the promises were spoken to Abraham and to his offspring. He doesn't say, "To descendants", as of many, but as of one, "To your offspring", which is AnointedOne.

17Now I say this: A covenant confirmed beforehand by God in AnointedOne, the law, which came four hundred thirty years after, does not annul, so as to make the promise of no effect.

18For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise; but God has granted it to Abraham by promise.

19What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, until the offspring should come to whom the promise has been made. It was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.

20Now a mediator is not between one, but God is one.

21Is the law then against the promises of God? Certainly not! For if there had been a law given which could make alive, most certainly righteousness would have been of the law.

22But the Scripture imprisoned all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus AnointedOne might be given to those who believe.

23But before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law, confined for the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

24So that the law has become our tutor to bring us to AnointedOne, that we might be justified by faith.

25But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor.

26For you are all children of God, through faith in AnointedOne Jesus.

27For as many of you as were baptized into AnointedOne have put on AnointedOne.

28There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither slave nor free, there is neither male nor female; for you are all one in AnointedOne Jesus.

29If you are AnointedOne's, then you are Abraham's offspring and heirs according to promise.
