Leviticus Chapter 23

¹⁵"'You shall count from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven Sabbaths shall be completed: ¹⁶even to the next day after the seventh Sabbath you shall number fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal offering to ForeverOne.

¹⁷You shall bring out of your habitations two loaves of bread for a wave offering made of two tenth parts of an ephah of fine flour. They shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to ForeverOne.

¹⁸You shall present with the bread seven lambs without blemish a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to ForeverOne, with their meal offering, and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to ForeverOne.

¹⁹You shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings.

²⁰The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before ForeverOne, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to ForeverOne for the priest.

²¹You shall make proclamation on the same day: there shall be a holy convocation to you; you shall do no regular work. This is a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.

²²"'When you reap the harvest of your land, don't wholly reap into the corners of your field, nor gather the gleanings of your harvest. Leave them for the poor, and for the foreigner. I am ForeverOne your God.'" ²³ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, ²⁴"Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, shall be a solemn rest to you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.

²⁵You shall do no regular work; and you shall offer an offering made by fire to ForeverOne.'"

Isaiah Chapter 52

¹Awake, awake, clothe yourself with strength, Zion; put on your beautiful garments, Jerusalem, the holy city: for from now on the uncircumcised and the unclean shall no longer enter you.

²Shake yourself from the dust; arise, sit [on your throne], Jerusalem: release yourself from the bonds of your neck, captive daughter of Zion.

³For thus says ForeverOne, "You were sold for nothing; and you shall be redeemed without money." ⁴For thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne, "My people went down at the first into Egypt to live there: and the Assyrian has oppressed them without cause.

⁵"Now therefore, what do I here," says ForeverOne, "seeing that my people are taken away for nothing? those who rule over them mock," says ForeverOne, "and my name continually all the day is blasphemed.

⁶Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore [they shall know] in that day that I am he who does speak; behold, it is I." ⁷How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of good, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, "Your God reigns!" ⁸The voice of your watchmen! they lift up the voice, together do they sing; for they shall see eye to eye, when ForeverOne returns to Zion.

⁹Break forth into joy, sing together, you waste places of Jerusalem; for ForeverOne has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.

¹⁰ForeverOne has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

¹¹Depart, depart, go out from there, touch no unclean thing! Go out of the midst of her! Cleanse yourselves, you who bear the vessels of ForeverOne.

¹²For you shall not go out in haste, neither shall you go by flight: for ForeverOne will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

¹³Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.

¹⁴Like as many were astonished at you (his appearance was marred more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men), ¹⁵so he shall sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for what had not been told them shall they see; and what they had not heard shall they understand.

Isaiah Chapter 53

¹Who has believed our message? To whom has the arm of ForeverOne been revealed?

²For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground. He has no form nor comeliness. When we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.

³He was despised, and rejected by men; a man of suffering, and acquainted with disease. He was despised as one from whom men hide their face; and we didn't respect him.

⁴Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted.

⁵But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed.

⁶All we like sheep have gone astray. Everyone has turned to his own way; and ForeverOne has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

⁷He was oppressed, yet when he was afflicted he didn't open his mouth. As a lamb that is led to the slaughter, and as a sheep that before its shearers is mute, so he didn't open his mouth.

⁸He was taken away by oppression and judgment; and as for his generation, who considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living and stricken for the disobedience of my people?

⁹They made his grave with the wicked, and with a rich man in his death; although he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.

¹⁰Yet it pleased ForeverOne to bruise him. He has caused him to suffer. When you make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his offspring. He shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of ForeverOne shall prosper in his hand.

¹¹After the suffering of his soul, he will see the light and be satisfied. My righteous servant will justify many by the knowledge of himself; and he will bear their iniquities.

¹²Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul to death, and was counted with the transgressors; yet he bore the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Psalm 34

By David; when he pretended to be insane before Abimelech, who drove him away, and he departed.

¹I will bless ForeverOne at all times. His praise will always be in my mouth.

²My soul shall boast in ForeverOne. The humble shall hear of it, and be glad.

³Oh magnify ForeverOne with me. Let us exalt his name together.

⁴I sought ForeverOne, and he answered me, and delivered me from all my fears.

⁵They looked to him, and were radiant. Their faces shall never be covered with shame.

⁶This poor man cried, and ForeverOne heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.

⁷The angel of ForeverOne encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.

⁸Oh taste and see that ForeverOne is good. Blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.

⁹Oh fear ForeverOne, you his saints, for there is no lack with those who fear him.

¹⁰The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger, but those who seek ForeverOne shall not lack any good thing.

¹¹Come, you children, listen to me. I will teach you the fear of ForeverOne.

¹²Who is someone who desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?

¹³Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking lies.

¹⁴Depart from evil, and do good. seek peace, and pursue it.

¹⁵ForeverOne's eyes are toward the righteous. His ears listen to their cry.

¹⁶ForeverOne's face is against those who do evil, to cut off the memory of them from the earth.

¹⁷The righteous cry, and ForeverOne hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.

¹⁸ForeverOne is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.

¹⁹Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but ForeverOne delivers him out of them all.

²⁰He protects all of his bones. Not one of them is broken.

²¹Evil shall kill the wicked. Those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.

²²ForeverOne redeems the soul of his servants. None of those who take refuge in him shall be condemned.

Acts Chapter 23

⁶But when Paul perceived that the one part were Sadducees and the other Pharisees, he cried out in the council, "Men and brothers, I am a Pharisee, a son of Pharisees. Concerning the hope and resurrection of the dead I am being judged!" ⁷When he had said this, an argument arose between the Pharisees and Sadducees, and the crowd was divided.

⁸For the Sadducees say that there is no resurrection, nor angel, nor spirit; but the Pharisees confess all of these.

⁹A great clamor arose, and some of the scribes of the Pharisees' part stood up, and contended, saying, "We find no evil in this man. But if a spirit or angel has spoken to him, let's not fight against God!" ¹⁰When a great argument arose, the commanding officer, fearing that Paul would be torn in pieces by them, commanded the soldiers to go down and take him by force from among them, and bring him into the barracks.

¹¹The following night, the Lord stood by him and said, "Cheer up, Paul, for as you have testified about me at Jerusalem, so you must testify also at Rome." ¹²When it was day, some of the Jews banded together, and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink until they had killed Paul.

¹³There were more than forty people who had made this conspiracy.

¹⁴They came to the chief priests and the elders, and said, "We have bound ourselves under a great curse to taste nothing until we have killed Paul.

¹⁵Now therefore, you with the council inform the commanding officer that he should bring him down to you tomorrow, as though you were going to judge his case more exactly. We are ready to kill him before he comes near." ¹⁶But Paul's sister's son heard they were lying in wait, and he came and entered into the barracks and told Paul.

¹⁷Paul summoned one of the centurions, and said, "Bring this young man to the commanding officer, for he has something to tell him." ¹⁸So he took him, and brought him to the commanding officer, and said, "Paul, the prisoner, summoned me and asked me to bring this young man to you. He has something to tell you." ¹⁹The commanding officer took him by the hand, and going aside, asked him privately, "What is it that you have to tell me?" ²⁰He said, "The Jews have agreed to ask you to bring Paul down to the council tomorrow, as though intending to inquire somewhat more accurately concerning him.

²¹So don't yield to them, for more than forty men lie in wait for him, who have bound themselves under a curse to neither eat nor drink until they have killed him. Now they are ready, looking for the promise from you."
