Deuteronomy 32:26-44

19 verses

Deuteronomy Chapter 32

26I said, I would scatter them afar. I would make the memory of them to cease from among men; 27were it not that I feared the provocation of the enemy, lest their adversaries should judge wrongly, lest they should say, 'Our hand is exalted, ForeverOne has not done all this.'" 28For they are a nation void of counsel. There is no understanding in them.

29Oh that they were wise, that they understood this, that they would consider their latter end!

30How could one pursue a thousand, and two put ten thousand to flight, unless their Rock had sold them, and ForeverOne had delivered them up?

31For their rock is not as our Rock, even our enemies themselves being judges.

32For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, of the fields of Gomorrah. Their grapes are grapes of gall, Their clusters are bitter.

33Their wine is the poison of serpents, The cruel venom of asps.

34"Isn't this laid up in store with me, sealed up among my treasures?

35Vengeance is mine, and recompense, at the time when their foot slides; for the day of their calamity is at hand. The things that are to come on them shall make haste." 36For ForeverOne will judge his people, and have compassion on his servants, when he sees that [their] power is gone, There is none [remaining], shut up or left at large.

37He will say, "Where are their gods, The rock in which they took refuge; 38Which ate the fat of their sacrifices, And drank the wine of their drink offering? Let them rise up and help you! Let them be your protection.

39"See now that I, even I, am he, There is no god with me. I kill, and I make alive. I wound, and I heal. There is no one who can deliver out of my hand.

40For I lift up my hand to heaven, And say, As I live forever, 41if I whet my glittering sword, My hand take hold on judgment; I will render vengeance to my adversaries, and will recompense those who hate me.

42I will make my arrows drunk with blood. My sword shall devour flesh with the blood of the slain and the captives, from the head of the leaders of the enemy." 43Rejoice, you nations, [with] his people, for he will avenge the blood of his servants. He will render vengeance to his adversaries, And will make expiation for his land, for his people.

44Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the ears of the people, he and Joshua the son of Nun.

Zechariah 11:14-13:9

27 verses

Zechariah Chapter 11

14Then I cut apart my other staff, even Union, that I might break the brotherhood between Judah and Israel.

15ForeverOne said to me, "Take for yourself yet again the equipment of a foolish shepherd.

16For, behold, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, who will not visit those who are cut off, neither will seek those who are scattered, nor heal what is broken, nor feed what is sound; but he will eat the flesh of the fat sheep, and will tear their hoofs in pieces.

17Woe to the worthless shepherd who leaves the flock! The sword will be on his arm, and on his right eye. His arm will be completely withered, and his right eye will be totally blinded!"

Zechariah Chapter 12

1An oracle. The word of ForeverOne concerning Israel. ForeverOne, who stretches out the heavens, and lays the foundation of the earth, and forms the spirit of man within him says: 2"Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and on Judah also will it be in the siege against Jerusalem.

3In that day, I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the peoples. All who burden themselves with it will be severely wounded, and all the nations of the earth will be gathered together against it.

4In that day," says ForeverOne, "I will strike every horse with terror, and his rider with madness; and I will open my eyes on the house of Judah, and will strike every horse of the peoples with blindness.

5The chieftains of Judah will say in their heart, 'The inhabitants of Jerusalem are my strength in ForeverOne of Armies their God.' 6In that day I will make the chieftains of Judah like a pan of fire among wood, and like a flaming torch among sheaves; and they will devour all the surrounding peoples, on the right hand and on the left; and Jerusalem will yet again dwell in their own place, even in Jerusalem.

7ForeverOne also will save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem not be magnified above Judah.

8In that day ForeverOne will defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem. He who is feeble among them at that day will be like David, and the house of David will be like God, like the angel of ForeverOne before them.

9In that day, I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

10I will pour on the house of David, and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplication; and they will look to me whom they have pierced; and they shall mourn for him, as one mourns for his only son, and will grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for his firstborn.

11In that day there will be a great mourning in Jerusalem, like the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.

12The land will mourn, every family apart; the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart; 13the family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of the Shimeites apart, and their wives apart; 14all the families who remain, every family apart, and their wives apart.

Zechariah Chapter 13

1"In that day there will be a spring opened to the house of David and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, for sin and for uncleanness.

2It will come to pass in that day, says ForeverOne of Armies, that I will cut off the names of the idols out of the land, and they will be remembered no more. I will also cause the prophets and the spirit of impurity to pass out of the land.

3When anyone still prophesies, then his father and his mother who bore him will tell him, 'You must die, because you speak lies in the name of ForeverOne;' and his father and his mother who bore him will stab him when he prophesies.

4In that day, the prophets will each be ashamed of his vision when he prophesies; neither will they wear a hairy mantle to deceive: 5but he will say, 'I am no prophet, I am a tiller of the ground; for I have been made a bondservant from my youth.' 6One will say to him, 'What are these wounds between your arms?' Then he will answer, 'Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.' 7"Awake, sword, against my shepherd, and against the man who is close to me," says ForeverOne of Armies. "Strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered; and I will turn my hand against the little ones.

8In all the land," says ForeverOne, "two parts in it will be cut off and die; but the third will be left in it.

9I will bring the third part into the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will test them like gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will hear them. I will say, 'It is my people;' and they will say, 'ForeverOne is my God.'"

Daniel 10:15-11:8

15 verses

Daniel Chapter 10

15and when he had spoken to me according to these words, I set my face toward the ground, and was mute.

16Behold, one in the likeness of the sons of men touched my lips: then I opened my mouth, and spoke and said to him who stood before me, my lord, by reason of the vision my sorrows are turned on me, and I retain no strength.

17For how can the servant of this my lord talk with this my lord? for as for me, immediately there remained no strength in me, neither was there breath left in me.

18Then there touched me again one like the appearance of a man, and he strengthened me.

19He said, "Greatly beloved man, don't be afraid: peace be to you, be strong, yes, be strong." When he spoke to me, I was strengthened, and said, "Let my lord speak; for you have strengthened me." 20Then he said, "Do you know why I have come to you? Now I will return to fight with the prince of Persia. When I go forth, behold, the prince of Greece shall come.

21But I will tell you what is inscribed in the writing of truth: and there is none who holds with me against these, but Michael your prince."

Daniel Chapter 11

1"As for me, in the first year of Darius the Mede, I stood up to confirm and strengthen him.

2Now will I show you the truth. Behold, there shall stand up yet three kings in Persia; and the fourth shall be far richer than they all: and when he has grown strong through his riches, he shall stir up all against the realm of Greece.

3A mighty king shall stand up, who shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will.

4When he shall stand up, his kingdom shall be broken, and shall be divided toward the four winds of the sky, but not to his posterity, nor according to his dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be plucked up, even for others besides these.

5The king of the south shall be strong, and [one] of his princes; and he shall be strong above him, and have dominion; his dominion shall be a great dominion.

6At the end of years they will join themselves together; and the daughter of the king of the south will come to the king of the north to make an agreement, but she will not retain the strength of her arm. Nor will he not stand, nor his arm; but she will be given up, with those who brought her, and he who became the father of her, and he who strengthened her in those times.

7But out of a shoot from her roots shall one stand up in his place, who shall come to the army, and shall enter into the fortress of the king of the north, and shall deal against them, and shall prevail.

8Also he shall carry captive into Egypt their gods, with their molten images, [and] with their goodly vessels of silver and of gold; and he shall refrain some years from the king of the north.

Section 4

Revelation 19:11-20:6

17 verses

Revelation Chapter 19

11I saw the heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it is called Faithful and True. In righteousness he judges and makes war.

12His eyes are a flame of fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has names written and a name written which no one knows but he himself.

13He is clothed in a garment sprinkled with blood. His name is called "The Word of God." 14The armies which are in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in white, pure, fine linen.

15Out of his mouth proceeds a sharp, double-edged sword, that with it he should strike the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He treads the winepress of the fierceness of the wrath of God, the Almighty.

16He has on his garment and on his thigh a name written, "KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS." 17I saw an angel standing in the sun. He cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the sky, "Come! Be gathered together to the great supper of God, 18that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, small and great." 19I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him who sat on the horse, and against his army.

20The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who worked the signs in his sight, with which he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were thrown alive into the lake of fire that burns with sulfur.

21The rest were killed with the sword of him who sat on the horse, the sword which came out of his mouth; and all the birds were filled with their flesh.

Revelation Chapter 20

1I saw an angel coming down out of heaven, having the key of the abyss and a great chain in his hand.

2He seized the dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, who deceives the whole inhabited earth, and bound him for a thousand years, 3and threw him into the abyss, and shut it, and sealed it over him, that he should deceive the nations no more, until the thousand years were finished. After this, he must be freed for a short time.

4I saw thrones, and they sat on them, and judgment was given to them. I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus, and for the word of God, and those who didn't worship the beast or his image, and didn't receive the mark on their forehead and on their hand. They lived, and reigned with the AnointedOne for a thousand years.

5The rest of the dead didn't live until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.

6Blessed and holy is he who has part in the first resurrection. Over these, the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of the AnointedOne, and will reign with him one thousand years.
