Numbers Chapter 36

¹The heads of the fathers' [houses] of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the children of Israel: ²and they said, "ForeverOne commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by ForeverOne to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.

³If they are married to any of the sons of the [other] tribes of the children of Israel, then will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they shall belong: so will it be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.

⁴When the jubilee of the children of Israel shall be, then will their inheritance be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they shall belong: so will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers." ⁵Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of ForeverOne, saying, "The tribe of the sons of Joseph speaks right.

⁶This is the thing which ForeverOne does command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them be married to whom they think best; only into the family of the tribe of their father shall they be married.

⁷So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.

⁸Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may possess every man the inheritance of his fathers.

⁹So shall no inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance." ¹⁰The daughters of Zelophehad did as ForeverOne commanded Moses: ¹¹for Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father's brothers' sons.

¹²They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.

¹³These are the commandments and the ordinances which ForeverOne commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.

Ezekiel Chapter 27

¹⁸Damascus was your merchant for the multitude of your handiworks, by reason of the multitude of all kinds of riches, with the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

¹⁹Vedan and Javan traded with yarn for your wares: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were among your merchandise.

²⁰Dedan was your trafficker in precious cloths for riding.

²¹Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they were the merchants of your hand; in lambs, and rams, and goats, in these were they your merchants.

²²The traffickers of Sheba and Raamah, they were your traffickers; they traded for your wares with the chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

²³Haran and Canneh and Eden, the traffickers of Sheba, Asshur [and] Chilmad, were your traffickers.

²⁴These were your traffickers in choice wares, in wrappings of blue and embroidered work, and in chests of rich clothing, bound with cords and made of cedar, among your merchandise.

²⁵The ships of Tarshish were your caravans for your merchandise: and you were replenished, and made very glorious in the heart of the seas.

²⁶Your rowers have brought you into great waters: the east wind has broken you in the heart of the seas.

²⁷Your riches, and your wares, your merchandise, your mariners, and your pilots, your repairers of ship seams, and the dealers in your merchandise, and all your men of war, who are in you, with all your company which is in the midst of you, shall fall into the heart of the seas in the day of your ruin.

²⁸At the sound of the cry of your pilots the suburbs shall shake.

²⁹All who handled the oar, the mariners [and] all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships. They will stand on the land, ³⁰and will cause their voice to be heard over you, and cry bitterly. They shall throw up dust on their heads. They will wallow in the ashes.

³¹They will make themselves bald for you, and clothe themselves with sackcloth. They will weep for you in bitterness of soul, with bitter mourning.

³²In their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, [saying], Who is there like Tyre, like her who is brought to silence in the midst of the sea?

³³When your wares went forth out of the seas, you filled many peoples; you enriched the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.

³⁴In the time that you were broken by the seas in the depths of the waters, your merchandise and all your company fell in the midst of you.

³⁵All the inhabitants of the islands are astonished at you, and their kings are horribly afraid; they are troubled in their face.

³⁶The merchants among the peoples hiss at you; you are become a terror, and you shall nevermore have any being.

Ezekiel Chapter 28

¹The word of ForeverOne came again to me, saying, ²Son of man, tell the prince of Tyre, Thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: Because your heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a god, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are man, and not God, though you set your heart as the heart of God - ³behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that is hidden from you; ⁴by your wisdom and by your understanding you have obtained yourself riches, and have obtained gold and silver into your treasures; ⁵by your great wisdom [and] by your traffic you have increased your riches, and your heart is lifted up because of your riches - ⁶therefore thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: Because you have set your heart as the heart of God, ⁷therefore, behold, I will bring strangers on you, the terrible of the nations; and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness.

⁸They shall bring you down to the pit; and you shall die the death of those who are slain, in the heart of the seas.

⁹Will you yet say before him who kills you, I am God? but you are man, and not God, in the hand of him who wounds you.

¹⁰You shall die the death of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says LordOfMine ForeverOne.

Proverbs Chapter 14

²⁵A truthful witness saves souls, but a false witness is deceitful.

²⁶In the fear of ForeverOne is a secure fortress, and he will be a refuge for his children.

²⁷The fear of ForeverOne is a fountain of life, turning people from the snares of death.

²⁸In the multitude of people is the king's glory, but in the lack of people is the destruction of the prince.

²⁹He who is slow to anger has great understanding, but he who has a quick temper displays folly.

³⁰The life of the body is a heart at peace, but envy rots the bones.

³¹He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for his Maker, but he who is kind to the needy honors him.

³²The wicked is brought down in his calamity, but in death, the righteous has a refuge.

³³Wisdom rests in the heart of one who has understanding, and is even made known in the inward part of fools.

³⁴Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace to any people.

³⁵The king's favor is toward a servant who deals wisely, but his wrath is toward one who causes shame.

Proverbs Chapter 15

¹A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.

²The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of fools gush out folly.

³ForeverOne's eyes are everywhere, keeping watch on the evil and the good.

⁴A gentle tongue is a tree of life, but deceit in it crushes the spirit.

⁵A fool despises his father's correction, but he who heeds reproof shows prudence.

⁶In the house of the righteous is much treasure, but the income of the wicked brings trouble.

⁷The lips of the wise spread knowledge; not so with the heart of fools.

⁸The sacrifice made by the wicked is an abomination to ForeverOne, but the prayer of the upright is his delight.

⁹The way of the wicked is an abomination to ForeverOne, but he loves him who follows after righteousness.

¹⁰There is stern discipline for one who forsakes the way: whoever hates reproof shall die.

¹¹Sheol and Abaddon are before ForeverOne - how much more then the hearts of the children of men!

¹²A scoffer doesn't love to be reproved; he will not go to the wise.

¹³A glad heart makes a cheerful face; but an aching heart breaks the spirit.

¹⁴The heart of one who has understanding seeks knowledge, but the mouths of fools feed on folly.

2 Timothy Chapter 1

¹Paul, an apostle of Jesus AnointedOne through the will of God, according to the promise of the life which is in AnointedOne Jesus, ²to Timothy, my dear child: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God the Father and AnointedOne Jesus our Lord.

³I thank God, whom I serve as my forefathers did, with a pure conscience. How unceasing is my memory of you in my petitions, night and day ⁴longing to see you, remembering your tears, that I may be filled with joy; ⁵having been reminded of the sincere faith that is in you, which lived first in your grandmother Lois, and your mother Eunice, and, I am persuaded, in you also.

⁶For this cause, I remind you that you should stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.

⁷For God didn't give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and soundness-of-mind.

⁸So don't be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner; but endure hardship for the Good News according to the power of God, ⁹who saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our actions, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given to us in AnointedOne Jesus before times eternal, ¹⁰but has now been revealed by the appearing of our Savior, AnointedOne Jesus, who abolished death, and brought life and immortality to light through the Good News.

¹¹For this I was appointed as a preacher, an apostle, and a teacher of the Gentiles.

¹²For this cause I also suffer these things. Yet I am not ashamed, for I know him whom I have believed, and I am persuaded that he is able to guard what I have committed to him against that day.

¹³Hold the pattern of sound words which you have heard from me, in faith and love which is in AnointedOne Jesus.

¹⁴That good thing which was committed to you, guard through the Holy Spirit who dwells in us.

¹⁵This you know, that all who are in Asia turned away from me, of whom are Phygelus and Hermogenes.

¹⁶May the Lord grant mercy to the house of Onesiphorus, for he often refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain, ¹⁷but when he was in Rome, he sought me diligently and found me ¹⁸(the Lord grant to him to find ForeverOne's mercy in that day); and in how many things he served at Ephesus, you know very well.
