Numbers Chapter 21

¹The Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the South, heard tell that Israel came by the way of Atharim; and he fought against Israel, and took some of them captive.

²Israel vowed a vow to ForeverOne, and said, "If you will indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities." ³ForeverOne listened to the voice of Israel, and delivered up the Canaanites; and they utterly destroyed them and their cities: and the name of the place was called Hormah.

⁴They traveled from Mount Hor by the road to the Red Sea, to compass the land of Edom: and the soul of the people was much discouraged because of the way.

⁵The people spoke against God, and against Moses, "Why have you brought us up out of Egypt to die in the wilderness? For there is no bread, and there is no water; and our soul loathes this light bread." ⁶ForeverOne sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and many people of Israel died.

⁷The people came to Moses, and said, "We have sinned, because we have spoken against ForeverOne, and against you. Pray to ForeverOne, that he take away the serpents from us." Moses prayed for the people.

⁸ForeverOne said to Moses, "Make a fiery serpent, and set it on a standard, and everyone who is bitten, shall live when he sees it." ⁹Moses made a serpent of brass, and set it on the standard. If a serpent had bitten any man, when he looked to the serpent of brass, he lived.

¹⁰The children of Israel traveled, and encamped in Oboth.

¹¹They traveled from Oboth, and encamped at Iyeabarim, in the wilderness which is before Moab, toward the sunrise.

¹²From there they traveled, and encamped in the valley of Zered.

¹³From there they traveled, and encamped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness, that comes out of the border of the Amorites: for the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.

¹⁴Therefore it is said in the book of the Wars of ForeverOne, "Vaheb in Suphah, the valleys of the Arnon, ¹⁵the slope of the valleys that incline toward the dwelling of Ar, leans on the border of Moab." ¹⁶From there they traveled to Beer: that is the well of which ForeverOne said to Moses, "Gather the people together, and I will give them water."

Jeremiah Chapter 49

²⁸Of Kedar, and of the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon struck. Thus says ForeverOne: Arise, go up to Kedar, and destroy the children of the east.

²⁹Their tents and their flocks shall they take; they shall carry away for themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry to them, Terror on every side!

³⁰Flee, wander far off, dwell in the depths, you inhabitants of Hazor, says ForeverOne; for Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon has taken counsel against you, and has conceived a purpose against you.

³¹Arise, go up to a nation that is at ease, that dwells without care, says ForeverOne; that have neither gates nor bars, that dwell alone.

³²Their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their livestock a spoil: and I will scatter to all winds those who have the corners [of their hair] cut off; and I will bring their calamity from every side of them, says ForeverOne.

³³Hazor shall be a dwelling place of jackals, a desolation forever: no man shall dwell there, neither shall any son of man live in it.

³⁴The word of ForeverOne that came to Jeremiah the prophet concerning Elam, at the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying, ³⁵Thus says ForeverOne of Armies: Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.

³⁶On Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of the sky, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation where the outcasts of Elam shall not come.

³⁷I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before those who seek their life; and I will bring evil on them, even my fierce anger, says ForeverOne; and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them; ³⁸and I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from there king and princes, says ForeverOne.

³⁹But in the latter days I will bring back the captivity of Elam, says ForeverOne.

Jeremiah Chapter 50

¹The word that ForeverOne spoke concerning Babylon, concerning the land of the Chaldeans, by Jeremiah the prophet.

²Declare among the nations and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and don't conceal: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is disappointed, Merodach is dismayed; her images are disappointed, her idols are dismayed.

³For out of the north there comes up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell there: they are fled, they are gone, both man and animal.

⁴In those days, and in that time, says ForeverOne, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together; they shall go on their way weeping, and shall seek ForeverOne their God.

⁵They shall inquire concerning Zion with their faces turned toward it, [saying], Come, and join yourselves to ForeverOne in an everlasting covenant that shall not be forgotten.

⁶My people have been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray; they have turned them away on the mountains; they have gone from mountain to hill; they have forgotten their resting place.

⁷All who found them have devoured them; and their adversaries said, We are not guilty, because they have sinned against ForeverOne, the habitation of righteousness, even ForeverOne, the hope of their fathers.

⁸Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the male goats before the flocks.

⁹For, behold, I will stir up and cause to come up against Babylon a group of great nations from the north country; and they shall set themselves in array against her; from there she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of an expert mighty man; none shall return in vain.

¹⁰Chaldea shall be a prey: all who prey on her shall be satisfied, says ForeverOne.

¹¹Because you are glad, because you rejoice, O you who plunder my heritage, because you are wanton as a heifer that treads out [the grain], and neigh as strong horses; ¹²your mother shall be utterly disappointed; she who bore you shall be confounded: behold, she shall be the least of the nations, a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.

¹³Because of the wrath of ForeverOne she shall not be inhabited, but she shall be wholly desolate: everyone who goes by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.

¹⁴Set yourselves in array against Babylon all around, all you who bend the bow; shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she has sinned against ForeverOne.

¹⁵Shout against her all around: she has submitted herself; her bulwarks are fallen, her walls are thrown down; for it is the vengeance of ForeverOne: take vengeance on her; as she has done, do to her.

¹⁶Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him who handles the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn everyone to his people, and they shall flee everyone to his own land.

Psalm 118

¹Give thanks to ForeverOne, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

²Let Israel now say that his loving kindness endures forever.

³Let the house of Aaron now say that his loving kindness endures forever.

⁴Now let those who fear ForeverOne say that his loving kindness endures forever.

⁵Out of my distress, I called on EverOne. EverOne answered me with freedom.

⁶ForeverOne is on my side. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?

⁷ForeverOne is on my side among those who help me. Therefore I will look in triumph at those who hate me.

⁸It is better to take refuge in ForeverOne, than to put confidence in man.

⁹It is better to take refuge in ForeverOne, than to put confidence in princes.

¹⁰All the nations surrounded me, but in the name of ForeverOne, I cut them off.

¹¹They surrounded me, yes, they surrounded me. In the name of ForeverOne I indeed cut them off.

¹²They surrounded me like bees. They are quenched like the burning thorns. In the name of ForeverOne I cut them off.

¹³You pushed me back hard, to make me fall, but ForeverOne helped me.

¹⁴EverOne is my strength and song. He has become my salvation.

¹⁵The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous. "The right hand of ForeverOne does valiantly.

¹⁶The right hand of ForeverOne is exalted! The right hand of ForeverOne does valiantly!" ¹⁷I will not die, but live, and declare EverOne's works.

¹⁸EverOne has punished me severely, but he has not given me over to death.

¹⁹Open to me the gates of righteousness. I will enter into them. I will give thanks to EverOne.

²⁰This is the gate of ForeverOne; the righteous will enter into it.

²¹I will give thanks to you, for you have answered me, and have become my salvation.

²²The stone which the builders rejected has become the head of the corner.

²³This is ForeverOne's doing. It is marvelous in our eyes.

²⁴This is the day that ForeverOne has made. We will rejoice and be glad in it!

²⁵Save us now, we beg you, ForeverOne! ForeverOne, we beg you, send prosperity now.

²⁶Blessed is he who comes in the name of ForeverOne! We have blessed you out of the house of ForeverOne.

²⁷ForeverOne is God, and he has given us light. Bind the sacrifice with cords, even to the horns of the altar.

²⁸You are my God, and I will give thanks to you. You are my God, I will exalt you.

²⁹Oh give thanks to ForeverOne, for he is good, for his loving kindness endures forever.

2 Corinthians Chapter 12

¹⁶Even so, I myself didn't burden you. "But, being crafty, I caught you with deception." ¹⁷Did I take advantage of you by any of those whom I sent to you?

¹⁸I exhorted Titus, and I sent the brother with him. Did Titus take any advantage of you? Didn't we walk in the same spirit? Didn't we walk in the same steps?

¹⁹Again, do you think that we are excusing ourselves to you? In the sight of God we speak in the AnointedOne. But all things, dear-ones, are for your edifying.

²⁰For I am afraid that by any means, when I come, I might find you not the way I want to, and that I might be found by you as you don't desire, that by any means there would be strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, whisperings, proud thoughts, or riots, ²¹that again when I come my God would humble me before you, and I would mourn for many of those who have sinned before now, and not repented of the uncleanness, sexual immorality, and lustfulness which they committed.

2 Corinthians Chapter 13

¹This is the third time I am coming to you. "At the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established." ²I have said beforehand, and I do say beforehand, as when I was present the second time, so now, being absent, I write to those who have sinned before now, and to all the rest, that, if I return, I will not spare; ³seeing that you seek a proof of the AnointedOne who speaks in me; who toward you is not weak, but is powerful in you.

⁴For he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives through the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we will live with him through the power of God toward you.

⁵Examine yourselves, whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or don't you know about your own selves, that Jesus AnointedOne is in you? Unless indeed you are disqualified!

⁶But I hope that you will know that we aren't disqualified.

⁷Now I pray to God that you do no evil; not that we may appear approved, but that you may do what is honorable, though we are as reprobate.

⁸For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

⁹For we rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. We also pray for this: your becoming perfect.

¹⁰For this cause I write these things while absent, that I may not deal sharply when present, according to the authority which the Lord gave me for building up, and not for tearing down.

¹¹Finally, brothers, rejoice! Be perfected. Be comforted. Be of the same mind. Live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.

¹²Greet one another with a holy kiss.

¹³All the saints greet you.

¹⁴The grace of the Lord Jesus AnointedOne, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all. Amen.
