Leviticus Chapter 7

¹¹"'This is the law of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which one shall offer to ForeverOne.

¹²If he offers it for a thanksgiving, then he shall offer with the sacrifice of thanksgiving unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil, and cakes mixed with oil.

¹³With cakes of leavened bread he shall offer his offering with the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving.

¹⁴Of it he shall offer one out of each offering for a heave offering to ForeverOne. It shall be the priest's who sprinkles the blood of the peace offerings.

¹⁵The flesh of the sacrifice of his peace offerings for thanksgiving shall be eaten on the day of his offering. He shall not leave any of it until the morning.

¹⁶"'But if the sacrifice of his offering is a vow, or a freewill offering, it shall be eaten on the day that he offers his sacrifice; and on the next day what remains of it shall be eaten: ¹⁷but what remains of the flesh of the sacrifice on the third day shall be burned with fire.

¹⁸If any of the meat of the sacrifice of his peace offerings is eaten on the third day, it will not be accepted, and it shall not be credited to him who offers it. It will be an abomination, and the soul who eats any of it will bear his iniquity.

¹⁹"'The flesh that touches any unclean thing shall not be eaten. It shall be burned with fire. As for the flesh, everyone who is clean may eat it; ²⁰but the soul who eats of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, that belongs to ForeverOne, having his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from his people.

²¹When anyone touches any unclean thing, the uncleanness of man, or an unclean animal, or any unclean abomination, and eats some of the flesh of the sacrifice of peace offerings, which belong to ForeverOne, that soul shall be cut off from his people.'" ²²ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, ²³"Speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'You shall eat no fat, of bull, or sheep, or goat.

²⁴The fat of what dies of itself, and the fat of what is torn of animals, may be used for any other service, but you shall in no way eat of it.

²⁵For whoever eats the fat of the animal, of which men offer an offering made by fire to ForeverOne, even the soul who eats it shall be cut off from his people.

²⁶Don't eat any blood, whether it is of bird or of animal, in any of your dwellings.

²⁷Whoever it is who eats any blood, that soul shall be cut off from his people.'"

Isaiah Chapter 6

⁵Then I said, "Woe is me! For I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for my eyes have seen the King, ForeverOne of Armies!" ⁶Then one of the burningones flew to me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar.

⁷He touched my mouth with it, and said, "Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin forgiven." ⁸I heard LordOfMine's voice, saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here I am. Send me!" ⁹He said, "Go, and tell this people, 'You hear indeed, but don't understand; and you see indeed, but don't perceive.' ¹⁰Make the heart of this people fat. Make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and turn again, and be healed." ¹¹Then I said, "LordOfMine, how long?" He answered, "Until cities are waste without inhabitant, and houses without man, and the land becomes utterly waste, ¹²And ForeverOne has removed men far away, and the forsaken places are many in the midst of the land.

¹³If there is a tenth left in it, that also will in turn be consumed: as a terebinth, and as an oak, whose stock remains when they are felled; so the holy offspring is its stock."

Isaiah Chapter 7

¹In the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king of Judah, Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah, king of Israel, went up to Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail against it.

²The house of David was told, saying, "Syria is allied with Ephraim." His heart trembled, and the heart of his people, as the trees of the forest tremble with the wind.

³Then ForeverOne said to Isaiah, "Go out now to meet Ahaz, you, and Shearjashub your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool, on the highway of the fuller's field.

⁴Tell him, 'Be careful, and keep calm. Don't be afraid, neither let your heart be faint because of these two tails of smoking torches, for the fierce anger of Rezin and Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.

⁵Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have plotted evil against you, saying, ⁶"Let's go up against Judah, and tear it apart, and let's divide it among ourselves, and set up a king in its midst, even the son of Tabeel." ⁷This is what LordOfMine ForeverOne says: "It shall not stand, neither shall it happen." ⁸For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin; and within sixty-five years Ephraim shall be broken in pieces, so that it shall not be a people; ⁹and the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If you will not believe, surely you shall not be established.'" ¹⁰ForeverOne spoke again to Ahaz, saying, ¹¹"Ask a sign of ForeverOne your God; ask it either in the depth, or in the height above." ¹²But Ahaz said, "I will not ask, neither will I tempt ForeverOne." ¹³He said, "Listen now, house of David. Is it not enough for you to try the patience of men, that you will try the patience of my God also?

¹⁴Therefore LordOfMine himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin will conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

¹⁵He shall eat butter and honey when he knows to refuse the evil, and choose the good.

¹⁶For before the child knows to refuse the evil, and choose the good, the land whose two kings you abhor shall be forsaken.

¹⁷ForeverOne will bring on you, on your people, and on your father's house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah; even the king of Assyria.

¹⁸In that day ForeverOne will whistle for the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee that is in the land of Assyria.

¹⁹They shall come, and shall all rest in the desolate valleys, in the clefts of the rocks, on all thorn hedges, and on all pastures.

²⁰In that day LordOfMine will shave with a razor that is hired in the parts beyond the River, even with the king of Assyria, the head and the hair of the feet; and it shall also consume the beard.

Job Chapter 27

¹³"This is the portion of a wicked man with God, the heritage of oppressors, which they receive from the Almighty.

¹⁴If his children are multiplied, it is for the sword. His offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

¹⁵Those who remain of him shall be buried in death. His widows shall make no lamentation.

¹⁶Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay; ¹⁷he may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

¹⁸He builds his house as the moth, as a booth which the watchman makes.

¹⁹He lies down rich, but he shall not do so again. He opens his eyes, and he is not.

²⁰Terrors overtake him like waters. A storm steals him away in the night.

²¹The east wind carries him away, and he departs. It sweeps him out of his place.

²²For it hurls at him, and does not spare, as he flees away from his hand.

²³Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.

Job Chapter 28

¹"Surely there is a mine for silver, and a place for gold which they refine.

²Iron is taken out of the earth, and copper is smelted out of the ore.

³Man sets an end to darkness, and searches out, to the furthest bound, the stones of obscurity and of thick darkness.

⁴He breaks open a shaft away from where people live. They are forgotten by the foot. They hang far from men, they swing back and forth.

⁵As for the earth, out of it comes bread; Underneath it is turned up as it were by fire.

⁶Sapphires come from its rocks. It has dust of gold.

⁷That path no bird of prey knows, neither has the falcon's eye seen it.

⁸The proud animals have not trodden it, nor has the fierce lion passed by there.

⁹He reaches out his hand on the flinty rock, and he overturns the mountains by the roots.

¹⁰He cuts out channels among the rocks. His eye sees every precious thing.

¹¹He binds the streams that they don't trickle; the hidden thing he brings to light.

¹²"But where shall wisdom be found? Where is the place of understanding?

¹³Man doesn't know its price; Neither is it found in the land of the living.

¹⁴The deep says, 'It isn't in me.' The sea says, 'It isn't with me.' ¹⁵It can't be obtained for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for its price.

¹⁶It can't be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

¹⁷Gold and glass can't equal it, neither shall it be exchanged for jewels of fine gold.

¹⁸No mention shall be made of coral or of crystal. Yes, the price of wisdom is above rubies.

¹⁹The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, Neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

Acts Chapter 4

³²The multitude of those who believed were of one heart and soul. Not one of them claimed that anything of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.

³³With great power, the apostles gave their testimony of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. Great grace was on them all.

³⁴For neither was there among them any who lacked, for as many as were owners of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, ³⁵and laid them at the apostles' feet, and distribution was made to each, according as anyone had need.

³⁶So Joses, who the apostles called Barnabas (which means Son of Encouragement), a Levite, whose family was from Cyprus, ³⁷having a field, sold it and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.

Acts Chapter 5

¹But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira, his wife, sold a possession, ²and kept back part of the price, his wife also being aware of it, then brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles' feet.

³But Peter said, "Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?

⁴While you kept it, didn't it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn't it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven't lied to men, but to God." ⁵Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard these things.

⁶The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him.

⁷About three hours later, his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.

⁸Peter answered her, "Tell me whether you sold the land for so much." She said, "Yes, for so much." ⁹But Peter asked her, "How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out." ¹⁰She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.

¹¹Great fear came on the whole assembly, and on all who heard these things.
