Numbers Chapter 33

31They traveled from Moseroth, and encamped in Bene Jaakan.

54You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance: wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.

55"But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the land in which you dwell.

56As I had thought to do to them, I will do to you."

Ezekiel 23:1-27

Ezekiel Chapter 23

1The word of ForeverOne came again to me, saying, 2Son of man, there were two women, the daughters of one mother: 3and they played the prostitute in Egypt; they played the prostitute in their youth; there were their breasts pressed, and there was handled the bosom of their virginity.

4The names of them were Oholah the elder, and Oholibah her sister: and they became mine, and they bore sons and daughters. As for their names, Samaria is Oholah, and Jerusalem Oholibah.

5Oholah played the prostitute when she was mine; and she doted on her lovers, on the Assyrians [her] neighbors, 6who were clothed with blue, governors and rulers, all of them desirable young men, horsemen riding on horses.

7She bestowed her prostitution on them, the choicest men of Assyria all of them; and on whoever she doted, with all their idols she defiled herself.

8Neither has she left her prostitution since [the days of] Egypt; for in her youth they lay with her, and they handled the bosom of her virginity; and they poured out their prostitution on her.

9Therefore I delivered her into the hand of her lovers, into the hand of the Assyrians, on whom she doted.

10These uncovered her nakedness; they took her sons and her daughters; and her they killed with the sword: and she became a byword among women; for they executed judgments on her.

11Her sister Oholibah saw this, yet was she more corrupt in her doting than she, and in her prostitution which were more than the prostitution of her sister.

12She doted on the Assyrians, governors and rulers, [her] neighbors, clothed most gorgeously, horsemen riding on horses, all of them desirable young men.

13I saw that she was defiled; they both took one way.

14She increased her prostitution; for she saw men portrayed on the wall, the images of the Chaldeans portrayed with vermilion, 15dressed with girdles on their waists, with flowing turbans on their heads, all of them princes to look on, after the likeness of the Babylonians in Chaldea, the land of their birth.

16As soon as she saw them she doted on them, and sent messengers to them into Chaldea.

17The Babylonians came to her into the bed of love, and they defiled her with their prostitution, and she was polluted with them, and her soul was alienated from them.

18So she uncovered her prostitution, and uncovered her nakedness: then my soul was alienated from her, like as my soul was alienated from her sister.

19Yet she multiplied her prostitution, remembering the days of her youth, in which she had played the prostitute in the land of Egypt.

20She doted on their paramours, whose flesh is as the flesh of donkeys, and whose issue is like the issue of horses.

21Thus you called to memory the lewdness of your youth, in the handling of your bosom by the Egyptians for the breasts of your youth.

22Therefore, Oholibah, thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: Behold, I will raise up your lovers against you, from whom your soul is alienated, and I will bring them against you on every side: 23the Babylonians and all the Chaldeans, Pekod and Shoa and Koa, [and] all the Assyrians with them; desirable young men, governors and rulers all of them, princes and men of renown, all of them riding on horses.

24They shall come against you with weapons, chariots, and wagons, and with a group of peoples; they shall set themselves against you with buckler and shield and helmet all around; and I will commit the judgment to them, and they shall judge you according to their judgments.

25I will set my jealousy against you, and they shall deal with you in fury; they shall take away your nose and your ears; and your residue shall fall by the sword: they shall take your sons and your daughters; and your residue shall be devoured by the fire.

26They shall also strip you of your clothes, and take away your beautiful jewels.

27Thus will I make your lewdness to cease from you, and your prostitution [brought] from the land of Egypt; so that you shall not lift up your eyes to them, nor remember Egypt any more.

Section 3

Proverbs 10:6-32

Proverbs Chapter 10

6Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

7The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot.

8The wise in heart accept commandments, but a chattering fool will fall.

9He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out.

10One winking with the eye causes sorrow, but a chattering fool will fall.

11The mouth of the righteous is a spring of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.

12Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs.

13Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has discernment, but a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding.

14Wise men lay up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near ruin.

15The rich man's wealth is his strong city. The destruction of the poor is their poverty.

16The labor of the righteous leads to life. The increase of the wicked leads to sin.

17He is in the way of life who heeds correction, but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray.

18He who hides hatred has lying lips. He who utters a slander is a fool.

19In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.

20The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver. The heart of the wicked is of little worth.

21The lips of the righteous feed many, but the foolish die for lack of understanding.

22ForeverOne's blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.

23It is a fool's pleasure to do wickedness, but wisdom is a man of understanding's pleasure.

24What the wicked fear, will overtake them, but the desire of the righteous will be granted.

25When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more; but the righteous stand firm forever.

26As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those who send him.

27The fear of ForeverOne prolongs days, but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.

28The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hope of the wicked will perish.

29The way of ForeverOne is a stronghold to the upright, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.

30The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not dwell in the land.

31The mouth of the righteous produces wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut off.

32The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked is perverse.

Section 4

1 Timothy 1

1 Timothy Chapter 1

1Paul, an apostle of AnointedOne Jesus according to the commandment of God our Savior, and AnointedOne Jesus our hope; 2to Timothy, my true child in faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from God our Father and AnointedOne Jesus our Lord.

3As I urged you when I was going into Macedonia, stay at Ephesus that you might command certain men not to teach a different doctrine, 4neither to pay attention to myths and endless genealogies, which cause disputes, rather than God's stewardship, which is in faith - 5but the goal of this command is love, out of a pure heart and a good conscience and sincere faith, 6from which things some, having missed the mark, have turned away to vain talking, 7desiring to be teachers of the law, though they understand neither what they say, nor about what they strongly affirm.

8But we know that the law is good, if one uses it lawfully, 9as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous person, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine, 11according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

12I thank him who enabled me, AnointedOne Jesus our Lord, because he counted me faithful, appointing me to service; 13although I used to be a blasphemer, a persecutor, and insolent. However, I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.

14The grace of our Lord abounded exceedingly with faith and love which is in AnointedOne Jesus.

15The saying is faithful and worthy of all acceptance, that AnointedOne Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

16However, for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first, Jesus AnointedOne might display all his patience for an example of those who were going to believe in him for eternal life.

17Now to the King eternal, permanent, invisible, to God who alone is wise, be honor and glory forever and ever. Amen.

18I commit this instruction to you, my child Timothy, according to the prophecies which were given to you before, that by them you may wage the good warfare, 19holding faith and a good conscience, which some having thrust away made a shipwreck concerning the faith, 20of whom are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I delivered to Satan, that they might be taught not to blaspheme.
