Numbers Chapter 4

³⁴Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation counted the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers' houses, ³⁵from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting.

³⁶Those who were counted of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.

³⁷These are those who were counted of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of ForeverOne by Moses.

³⁸Those who were counted of the sons of Gershon, their families, and by their fathers' houses, ³⁹from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting, ⁴⁰even those who were counted of them, by their families, by their fathers' houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.

⁴¹These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of ForeverOne.

⁴²Those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers' houses, ⁴³from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service, for work in the Tent of Meeting, ⁴⁴even those who were counted of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.

⁴⁵These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of ForeverOne by Moses.

⁴⁶All those who were counted of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel counted, by their families, and by their fathers' houses, ⁴⁷from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service, and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting, ⁴⁸even those who were counted of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.

⁴⁹According to the commandment of ForeverOne they were counted by Moses, everyone according to his service, and according to his burden. Thus were they counted by him, as ForeverOne commanded Moses.

Jeremiah Chapter 13

²⁴Therefore will I scatter them, as the stubble that passes away, by the wind of the wilderness.

²⁵This is your lot, the portion measured to you from me, says ForeverOne; because you have forgotten me, and trusted in falsehood.

²⁶Therefore will I also uncover your skirts on your face, and your shame shall appear.

²⁷I have seen your abominations, even your adulteries, and your neighing, the lewdness of your prostitution, on the hills in the field. Woe to you, Jerusalem! You will not be made clean; how long shall it yet be?

Jeremiah Chapter 14

¹The word of ForeverOne that came to Jeremiah concerning the drought.

²Judah mourns, and its gates languish, they sit in black on the ground; and the cry of Jerusalem is gone up.

³Their nobles send their little ones to the waters: they come to the cisterns, and find no water; they return with their vessels empty; they are disappointed and confounded, and cover their heads.

⁴Because of the ground which is cracked, because no rain has been in the land, the plowmen are disappointed, they cover their heads.

⁵Yes, the hind also in the field calves, and forsakes [her young], because there is no grass.

⁶The wild donkeys stand on the bare heights, they pant for air like jackals; their eyes fail, because there is no vegetation.

⁷Though our iniquities testify against us, work for your name's sake, ForeverOne; for our backslidings are many; we have sinned against you.

⁸You hope of Israel, its Savior in the time of trouble, why should you be as a foreigner in the land, and as a wayfaring man who turns aside to stay for a night?

⁹Why should you be like a scared man, as a mighty man who can't save? Yet you, ForeverOne, are in the midst of us, and we are called by your name; don't leave us.

¹⁰Thus says ForeverOne to this people, Even so have they loved to wander; they have not refrained their feet: therefore ForeverOne does not accept them; now he will remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.

¹¹ForeverOne said to me, Don't pray for this people for [their] good.

¹²When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and meal offering, I will not accept them; but I will consume them by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence.

¹³Then I said, Ah, LordOfMine ForeverOne! behold, the prophets tell them, You shall not see the sword, neither shall you have famine; but I will give you assured peace in this place.

¹⁴Then ForeverOne said to me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name; I didn't send them, neither have I commanded them, neither spoke I to them: they prophesy to you a lying vision, and divination, and a thing of nothing, and the deceit of their own heart.

¹⁵Therefore thus says ForeverOne concerning the prophets who prophesy in my name, and I didn't send them, yet they say, Sword and famine shall not be in this land: By sword and famine shall those prophets be consumed.

¹⁶The people to whom they prophesy shall be thrown out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; and they shall have none to bury them - them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters: for I will pour their wickedness on them.

¹⁷You shall say this word to them, Let my eyes run down with tears night and day, and let them not cease; for the virgin daughter of my people is broken with a great breach, with a very grievous wound.

¹⁸If I go forth into the field, then, behold, the slain with the sword! and if I enter into the city, then, behold, those who are sick with famine! for both the prophet and the priest go about in the land, and have no knowledge.

¹⁹Have you utterly rejected Judah? has your soul loathed Zion? why have you struck us, and there is no healing for us? We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of healing, and behold, dismay!

²⁰We acknowledge, ForeverOne, our wickedness, and the iniquity of our fathers; for we have sinned against you.

²¹Do not abhor [us], for your name's sake; do not disgrace the throne of your glory: remember, don't break your covenant with us.

²²Are there any among the vanities of the nations that can cause rain? or can the sky give showers? Aren't you he, ForeverOne our God? therefore we will wait for you; for you have made all these things.

Psalm 69

For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "Lilies." By David.

¹Save me, God, for the waters have come up to my neck!

²I sink in deep mire, where there is no foothold. I have entered deep waters, where the floods overflow me.

³I am weary with my crying. My throat is dry. My eyes fail, looking for my God.

⁴Those who hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of my head. Those who want to cut me off, being my enemies wrongfully, are mighty. I have to restore what I didn't take away.

⁵God, you know my foolishness. My sins aren't hidden from you.

⁶Don't let those who wait for you be shamed through me, LordOfMine ForeverOne of Armies. Don't let those who seek you be brought to dishonor through me, God of Israel.

⁷Because for your sake, I have borne reproach. Shame has covered my face.

⁸I have become a stranger to my brothers, an alien to my mother's children.

⁹For the zeal of your house consumes me. The reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.

¹⁰When I wept and I fasted, that was to my reproach.

¹¹When I made sackcloth my clothing, I became a byword to them.

¹²Those who sit in the gate talk about me. I am the song of the drunkards.

¹³But as for me, my prayer is to you, ForeverOne, in an acceptable time. God, in the abundance of your loving kindness, answer me in the truth of your salvation.

¹⁴Deliver me out of the mire, and don't let me sink. Let me be delivered from those who hate me, and out of the deep waters.

¹⁵Don't let the flood waters overwhelm me, neither let the deep swallow me up. Don't let the pit shut its mouth on me.

¹⁶Answer me, ForeverOne, for your loving kindness is good. According to the multitude of your tender mercies, turn to me.

¹⁷Don't hide your face from your servant, for I am in distress. Answer me speedily!

¹⁸Draw near to my soul, and redeem it. Ransom me because of my enemies.

¹⁹You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor. My adversaries are all before you.

²⁰Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness. I looked for some to take pity, but there was none; for comforters, but I found none.

²¹They also gave me gall for my food. In my thirst, they gave me vinegar to drink.

²²Let their table before them become a snare. May it become a retribution and a trap.

²³Let their eyes be darkened, so that they can't see. Let their backs be continually bent.

²⁴Pour out your indignation on them. Let the fierceness of your anger overtake them.

²⁵Let their habitation be desolate. Let no one dwell in their tents.

²⁶For they persecute him whom you have wounded. They tell of the sorrow of those whom you have hurt.

²⁷Charge them with crime upon crime. Don't let them come into your righteousness.

²⁸Let them be blotted out of the book of life, and not be written with the righteous.

²⁹But I am in pain and distress. Let your salvation, God, protect me.

³⁰I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving.

³¹It will please ForeverOne better than an ox, or a bull that has horns and hoofs.

³²The humble have seen it, and are glad. You who seek after God, let your heart live.

³³For ForeverOne hears the needy, and doesn't despise his captive people.

³⁴Let heaven and earth praise him; the seas, and everything that moves in it!

³⁵For God will save Zion, and build the cities of Judah. They shall settle there, and own it.

³⁶The children also of his servants shall inherit it. Those who love his name shall dwell there.

Romans Chapter 11

¹⁶If the first fruit is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.

¹⁷But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the root and of the richness of the olive tree, ¹⁸don't boast over the branches. But if you boast, it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you.

¹⁹You will say then, "Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in." ²⁰True; by their unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by your faith. Don't be conceited, but fear; ²¹for if God didn't spare the natural branches, neither will he spare you.

²²See then the goodness and severity of God. Toward those who fell, severity; but toward you, goodness, if you continue in his goodness; otherwise you also will be cut off.

²³They also, if they don't continue in their unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.

²⁴For if you were cut out of what is by nature a wild olive tree, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more will these, which are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

²⁵For I don't desire you to be ignorant, brothers, of this mystery, so that you won't be wise in your own conceits, that a partial hardening has happened to Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in, ²⁶and so all Israel will be saved. Even as it is written, "There will come out of Zion the Deliverer, and he will turn away ungodliness from Jacob.

²⁷This is my covenant with them, when I will take away their sins." ²⁸Concerning the Good News, they are enemies for your sake. But concerning the election, they are dear-ones for the fathers' sake.

²⁹For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

³⁰For as you in time past were disobedient to God, but now have obtained mercy by their disobedience, ³¹even so these also have now been disobedient, that by the mercy shown to you they may also obtain mercy.

³²For God has bound all to disobedience, that he might have mercy on all.

³³Oh the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past tracing out!

³⁴"For who has known the mind of ForeverOne? Or who has been his counselor?" ³⁵"Or who has first given to him, and it will be repaid to him again?" ³⁶For of him, and through him, and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.

Romans Chapter 12

¹So I urge you, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service.

²Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

³For I say through the grace that was given me, to every man who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think reasonably, as God has apportioned to each person a measure of faith.
