Numbers Chapter 32

16They came near to him, and said, "We will build sheepfolds here for our livestock, and cities for our little ones: 17but we ourselves will be ready armed to go before the children of Israel, until we have brought them to their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land.

18We will not return to our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.

19For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan, and forward; because our inheritance has fallen to us eastward on this side of the Jordan." 20Moses said to them, "If you will do this thing, if you will arm yourselves to go before ForeverOne to the war, 21and every armed man of you will pass over the Jordan before ForeverOne, until he has driven out his enemies from before him, 22and the land is subdued before ForeverOne; then afterward you shall return, and be guiltless towards ForeverOne, and towards Israel; and this land shall be to you for a possession before ForeverOne.

23"But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against ForeverOne; and be sure your sin will find you out.

24Build cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do what has proceeded out of your mouth." 25The children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, "Your servants will do as my lord commands.

26Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our livestock, shall be there in the cities of Gilead; 27but your servants will pass over, every man who is armed for war, before ForeverOne to battle, as my lord says." 28So Moses commanded concerning them to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the tribes of the children of Israel.

29Moses said to them, "If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man who is armed to battle, before ForeverOne, and the land shall be subdued before you; then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession: 30but if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan." 31The children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, "As ForeverOne has said to your servants, so will we do.

32We will pass over armed before ForeverOne into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance [shall remain] with us beyond the Jordan."

Ezekiel 20:30-21:7

Ezekiel Chapter 20

30Therefore tell the house of Israel, Thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: Do you pollute yourselves in the way of your fathers? and do you play the prostitute after their abominations?

31and when you offer your gifts, when you make your sons to pass through the fire, do you pollute yourselves with all your idols to this day? and shall I be inquired of by you, house of Israel? As I live, says LordOfMine ForeverOne, I will not be inquired of by you; 32and what comes into your mind shall not be at all, in that you say, We will be as the nations, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.

33As I live, says LordOfMine ForeverOne, surely with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out, will I be king over you: 34and I will bring you out from the peoples, and will gather you out of the countries in which you are scattered, with a mighty hand, and with an outstretched arm, and with wrath poured out; 35and I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there will I enter into judgment with you face to face.

36Like as I entered into judgment with your fathers in the wilderness of the land of Egypt, so will I enter into judgment with you, says LordOfMine ForeverOne.

37I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant; 38and I will purge out from among you the rebels, and those who disobey against me; I will bring them forth out of the land where they live, but they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and you shall know that I am ForeverOne.

39As for you, house of Israel, thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: Go, serve everyone his idols, and hereafter also, if you will not listen to me; but my holy name you shall no more profane with your gifts, and with your idols.

40For in my holy mountain, in the mountain of the height of Israel, says LordOfMine ForeverOne, there shall all the house of Israel, all of them, serve me in the land: there will I accept them, and there will I require your offerings, and the first fruits of your offerings, with all your holy things.

41As a pleasant aroma will I accept you, when I bring you out from the peoples, and gather you out of the countries in which you have been scattered; and I will be sanctified in you in the sight of the nations.

42You shall know that I am ForeverOne, when I shall bring you into the land of Israel, into the country which I swore to give to your fathers.

43There you shall remember your ways, and all your doings, in which you have polluted yourselves; and you shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for all your evils that you have committed.

44You shall know that I am ForeverOne, when I have dealt with you for my name's sake, not according to your evil ways, nor according to your corrupt doings, you house of Israel, says LordOfMine ForeverOne.

45The word of ForeverOne came to me, saying, 46Son of man, set your face toward the south, and drop [your word] toward the south, and prophesy against the forest of the field in the South; 47and tell the forest of the South, Hear the word of ForeverOne: Thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne, Behold, I will kindle a fire in you, and it shall devour every green tree in you, and every dry tree: the flaming flame shall not be quenched, and all faces from the south to the north shall be burned thereby.

48All flesh shall see that I, ForeverOne, have kindled it; it shall not be quenched.

49Then I said, Ah LordOfMine ForeverOne! they say of me, Isn't he a speaker of parables?

Ezekiel Chapter 21

1The word of ForeverOne came to me, saying, 2Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and drop [your word] toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against the land of Israel; 3and tell the land of Israel, Thus says ForeverOne: Behold, I am against you, and will draw forth my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.

4Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore shall my sword go forth out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north: 5and all flesh shall know that I, ForeverOne, have drawn forth my sword out of its sheath; it shall not return any more.

6Sigh therefore, you son of man; with the breaking of your thighs and with bitterness you will sigh before their eyes.

7When they ask you, Why do you sigh? you shall say, Because of the news, for it comes; and every heart shall melt, and all hands shall be feeble, and every spirit shall faint, and all knees shall be weak as water: behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says LordOfMine ForeverOne.

Proverbs 7

27 verses

Proverbs Chapter 7

1My son, keep my words. Lay up my commandments within you.

2Keep my commandments and live! Guard my teaching as the apple of your eye.

3Bind them on your fingers. Write them on the tablet of your heart.

4Tell wisdom, "You are my sister." Call understanding your relative, 5that they may keep you from the strange woman, from the foreigner who flatters with her words.

6For at the window of my house, I looked out through my lattice.

7I saw among the simple ones. I discerned among the youths a young man void of understanding, 8passing through the street near her corner, he went the way to her house, 9in the twilight, in the evening of the day, in the middle of the night and in the darkness.

10Behold, there a woman met him with the attire of a prostitute, and with crafty intent.

11She is loud and defiant. Her feet don't stay in her house.

12Now she is in the streets, now in the squares, and lurking at every corner.

13So she caught him, and kissed him. With an impudent face she said to him: 14"Sacrifices of peace offerings are with me. Today I have paid my vows.

15Therefore I came out to meet you, to diligently seek your face, and I have found you.

16I have spread my couch with carpets of tapestry, with striped cloths of the yarn of Egypt.

17I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.

18Come, let's take our fill of loving until the morning. Let's solace ourselves with loving.

19For my husband isn't at home. He has gone on a long journey.

20He has taken a bag of money with him. He will come home at the full moon." 21With persuasive words, she led him astray. With the flattering of her lips, she seduced him.

22He followed her immediately, as an ox goes to the slaughter, as a fool stepping into a noose.

23Until an arrow strikes through his liver, as a bird hurries to the snare, and doesn't know that it will cost his life.

24Now therefore, sons, listen to me. Pay attention to the words of my mouth.

25Don't let your heart turn to her ways. Don't go astray in her paths, 26for she has thrown down many wounded. Yes, all her slain are a mighty army.

27Her house is the way to Sheol, going down to the rooms of death.

1 Thessalonians 5

28 verses

1 Thessalonians Chapter 5

1But concerning the times and the seasons, brothers, you have no need that anything be written to you.

2For you yourselves know well that the day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night.

3For when they are saying, "Peace and safety," then sudden destruction will come on them, like birth pains on a pregnant woman; and they will in no way escape.

4But you, brothers, aren't in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief.

5You are all children of light and children of the day. We don't belong to the night, nor to darkness, 6so then let's not sleep, as the rest do, but let's watch and be sober.

7For those who sleep, sleep in the night; and those who are drunk are drunk in the night.

8But since we belong to the day, let's be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet, the hope of salvation.

9For God didn't appoint us to wrath, but to the obtaining of salvation through our Lord Jesus AnointedOne, 10who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him.

11So exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do.

12But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you, 13and to respect and honor them in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves.

14We exhort you, brothers: Admonish the disorderly; encourage the faint-hearted; support the weak; be patient toward all.

15See that no one returns evil for evil to anyone, but pursue all that is good for one another and for all.

16Always rejoice.

17Pray without ceasing.

18In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in AnointedOne Jesus toward you.

19Don't quench the Spirit.

20Don't despise prophecies; 21test all things, and hold firmly what is good.

22Abstain from every form of evil.

23May the God of peace himself sanctify you completely. May your whole spirit, soul, and body be preserved blameless at the coming of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne.

24He who calls you is faithful, who will also do it.

25Brothers, pray for us.

26Greet all the brothers with a holy kiss.

27I solemnly command you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the holy brothers.

28The grace of our Lord Jesus AnointedOne be with you. Amen.
