Deuteronomy 28:15-29

15 verses

Deuteronomy Chapter 28

15But it shall come to pass, if you will not listen to the voice of ForeverOne your God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command you today, that all these curses shall come on you, and overtake you.

16You shall be cursed in the city, and you shall be cursed in the field.

17Your basket and your kneading trough shall be cursed.

18The fruit of your body, the fruit of your ground, the increase of your livestock, and the young of your flock shall be cursed.

19You shall be cursed when you come in, and you shall be cursed when you go out.

20ForeverOne will send on you cursing, confusion, and rebuke, in all that you put your hand to do, until you are destroyed, and until you perish quickly; because of the evil of your doings, by which you have forsaken me.

21ForeverOne will make the pestilence cling to you, until he has consumed you from off the land, where you go in to possess it.

22ForeverOne will strike you with consumption, and with fever, and with inflammation, and with fiery heat, and with the sword, and with blight, and with mildew; and they shall pursue you until you perish.

23Your sky that is over your head shall be brass, and the earth that is under you shall be iron.

24ForeverOne will make the rain of your land powder and dust: from the sky shall it come down on you, until you are destroyed.

25ForeverOne will cause you to be struck before your enemies; you shall go out one way against them, and shall flee seven ways before them: and you shall be tossed back and forth among all the kingdoms of the earth.

26Your dead body shall be food to all birds of the sky, and to the animals of the earth; and there shall be none to frighten them away.

27ForeverOne will strike you with the boil of Egypt, and with the tumors, and with the scurvy, and with the itch, of which you can not be healed.

28ForeverOne will strike you with madness, and with blindness, and with astonishment of heart; 29and you shall grope at noonday, as the blind gropes in darkness, and you shall not prosper in your ways: and you shall be only oppressed and robbed always, and there shall be none to save you.

Habakkuk 2:12-3:19

28 verses

Habakkuk Chapter 2

12Woe to him who builds a town with blood, and establishes a city by iniquity!

13Behold, isn't it of ForeverOne of Armies that the peoples labor for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?

14For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of ForeverOne, as the waters cover the sea.

15"Woe to him who gives his neighbor drink, pouring your inflaming wine until they are drunk, so that you may gaze at their naked bodies!

16You are filled with shame, and not glory. You will also drink, and be exposed! The cup of ForeverOne's right hand will come around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory.

17For the violence done to Lebanon will overwhelm you, and the destruction of the animals, which made them afraid; because of men's blood, and for the violence done to the land, to every city and to those who dwell in them.

18"What value does the engraved image have, that its maker has engraved it; the molten image, even the teacher of lies, that he who fashions its form trusts in it, to make mute idols?

19Woe to him who says to the wood, 'Awake!' or to the mute stone, 'Arise!' Shall this teach? Behold, it is overlaid with gold and silver, and there is no breath at all in its midst.

20But ForeverOne is in his holy temple. Let all the earth be silent before him!"

Habakkuk Chapter 3

1A prayer of Habakkuk, the prophet, set to victorious music.

2ForeverOne, I have heard of your fame. I stand in awe of your deeds, ForeverOne. Renew your work in the midst of the years. In the midst of the years make it known. In wrath, you remember mercy.

3God came from Teman, the Holy One from Mount Paran. Selah. His glory covered the heavens, and his praise filled the earth.

4His splendor is like the sunrise. Rays shine from his hand, where his power is hidden.

5Plague went before him, and pestilence followed his feet.

6He stood, and shook the earth. He looked, and made the nations tremble. The ancient mountains were crumbled. The age-old hills collapsed. His ways are eternal.

7I saw the tents of Cushan in affliction. The dwellings of the land of Midian trembled.

8Was ForeverOne displeased with the rivers? Was your anger against the rivers, or your wrath against the sea, that you rode on your horses, on your chariots of salvation?

9You uncovered your bow. You called for your sworn arrows. Selah. You split the earth with rivers.

10The mountains saw you, and were afraid. The storm of waters passed by. The deep roared and lifted up its hands on high.

11The sun and moon stood still in the sky, at the light of your arrows as they went, at the shining of your glittering spear.

12You marched through the land in wrath. You threshed the nations in anger.

13You went forth for the salvation of your people, for the salvation of your anointed. You crushed the head of the land of wickedness. You stripped them head to foot. Selah.

14You pierced the heads of his warriors with their own spears. They came as a whirlwind to scatter me, gloating as if to devour the wretched in secret.

15You trampled the sea with your horses, churning mighty waters.

16I heard, and my body trembled. My lips quivered at the voice. Rottenness enters into my bones, and I tremble in my place, because I must wait quietly for the day of trouble, for the coming up of the people who invade us.

17For though the fig tree doesn't flourish, nor fruit be in the vines; the labor of the olive fails, the fields yield no food; the flocks are cut off from the fold, and there is no herd in the stalls: 18yet I will rejoice in ForeverOne. I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!

19ForeverOne, LordOfMine, is my strength. He makes my feet like deer's feet, and enables me to go in high places. For the music director, on my stringed instruments.

Daniel 4:24-37

14 verses

Daniel Chapter 4

24this is the interpretation, O king, and it is the decree of the Most High, which has come on my lord the king: 25that you shall be driven from men, and your dwelling shall be with the animals of the field, and you shall be made to eat grass as oxen, and shall be wet with the dew of the sky, and seven times shall pass over you; until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.

26Whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the roots of the tree; your kingdom shall be sure to you, after that you shall have known that the heavens do rule.

27Therefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable to you, and break off your sins by righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the poor; if there may be a lengthening of your tranquility.

28All this came on the king Nebuchadnezzar.

29At the end of twelve months he was walking in the royal palace of Babylon.

30The king spoke and said, Is not this great Babylon, which I have built for the royal dwelling place, by the might of my power and for the glory of my majesty?

31While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from the sky, [saying], O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken: The kingdom has departed from you: 32and you shall be driven from men; and your dwelling shall be with the animals of the field; you shall be made to eat grass as oxen; and seven times shall pass over you; until you know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomever he will.

33That very hour the thing was fulfilled on Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and ate grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of the sky, until his hair was grown like eagles' [feathers], and his nails like birds' [claws].

34At the end of the days I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted up my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me, and I blessed the Most High, and I praised and honored him who lives forever; for his dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom from generation to generation.

35All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; and he does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand, or ask him, What are you doing?

36At the same time my understanding returned to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my majesty and brightness returned to me; and my counselors and my lords sought me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent greatness was added to me.

37Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven; for all his works are truth, and his ways justice; and those who walk in pride he is able to abase.

Revelation 8:12-9:16

18 verses

Revelation Chapter 8

12The fourth angel sounded, and one third of the sun was struck, and one third of the moon, and one third of the stars; so that one third of them would be darkened, and the day wouldn't shine for one third of it, and the night in the same way.

13I saw, and I heard an eagle, flying in mid heaven, saying with a loud voice, "Woe! Woe! Woe for those who dwell on the earth, because of the other voices of the trumpets of the three angels, who are yet to sound!"

Revelation Chapter 9

1The fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star from the sky which had fallen to the earth. The key to the pit of the abyss was given to him.

2He opened the pit of the abyss, and smoke went up out of the pit, like the smoke from a burning furnace. The sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke from the pit.

3Then out of the smoke came locusts on the earth, and power was given to them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.

4They were told that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree, but only those people who don't have God's seal on their foreheads.

5They were given power, not to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a person.

6In those days people will seek death, and will in no way find it. They will desire to die, and death will flee from them.

7The shapes of the locusts were like horses prepared for war. On their heads were something like golden crowns, and their faces were like people's faces.

8They had hair like women's hair, and their teeth were like those of lions.

9They had breastplates, like breastplates of iron. The sound of their wings was like the sound of chariots, or of many horses rushing to war.

10They have tails like those of scorpions, and stings. In their tails they have power to harm men for five months.

11They have over them as king the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is "Abaddon," but in Greek, he has the name "Apollyon".

12The first woe is past. Behold, there are still two woes coming after this.

13The sixth angel sounded. I heard a voice from the horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Free the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates!" 15The four angels were freed who had been prepared for that hour and day and month and year, so that they might kill one third of mankind.

16The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million. I heard the number of them.
