Numbers Chapter 3

²⁷Of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.

²⁸According to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, there were eight thousand six hundred, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary.

²⁹The families of the sons of Kohath shall encamp on the south side of the tabernacle.

³⁰The prince of the fathers' house of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.

³¹Their duty shall be the ark, the table, the lamp stand, the altars, the vessels of the sanctuary with which they minister, and the screen, and all its service.

³²Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be prince of the princes of the Levites, with the oversight of those who keep the requirements of the sanctuary.

³³Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites. These are the families of Merari.

³⁴Those who were counted of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand two hundred.

³⁵The prince of the fathers' house of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail. They shall encamp on the north side of the tabernacle.

³⁶The appointed duty of the sons of Merari shall be the tabernacle's boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets, all its instruments, all its service, ³⁷the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, and their cords.

³⁸Those who encamp before the tabernacle eastward, in front of the Tent of Meeting toward the sunrise, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the requirements of the sanctuary for the duty of the children of Israel. The stranger who comes near shall be put to death.

³⁹All who were counted of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron counted at the commandment of ForeverOne, by their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty-two thousand.

Jeremiah Chapter 9

¹²Who is the wise man, that may understand this? and [who is] he to whom the mouth of ForeverOne has spoken, that he may declare it? why is the land perished and burned up like a wilderness, so that none passes through?

¹³ForeverOne says, Because they have forsaken my law which I set before them, and have not obeyed my voice, neither walked in it, ¹⁴but have walked after the stubbornness of their own heart, and after the Baals, which their fathers taught them; ¹⁵therefore thus says ForeverOne of Armies, the God of Israel, Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

¹⁶I will scatter them also among the nations, whom neither they nor their fathers have known; and I will send the sword after them, until I have consumed them.

¹⁷Thus says ForeverOne of Armies, Consider, and call for the mourning women, that they may come; and send for the skillful women, that they may come: ¹⁸and let them make haste, and take up a wailing for us, that our eyes may run down with tears, and our eyelids gush out with waters.

¹⁹For a voice of wailing is heard out of Zion, How are we ruined! we are greatly confounded, because we have forsaken the land, because they have thrown down our dwellings.

²⁰Yet hear the word of ForeverOne, you women, and let your ear receive the word of his mouth; and teach your daughters wailing, and everyone her neighbor lamentation.

²¹For death has come up into our windows, it is entered into our palaces; to cut off the children from outside, [and] the young men from the streets.

²²Speak, Thus says ForeverOne, The dead bodies of men shall fall as dung on the open field, and as the handful after the harvester; and none shall gather [them].

²³Thus says ForeverOne, Don't let the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, don't let the rich man glory in his riches; ²⁴but let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am ForeverOne who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, says ForeverOne.

²⁵Behold, the days come, says ForeverOne, that I will punish all those who are circumcised in [their] uncircumcision: ²⁶Egypt, and Judah, and Edom, and the children of Ammon, and Moab, and all that have the corners [of their hair] cut off, who dwell in the wilderness; for all the nations are uncircumcised, and all the house of Israel are uncircumcised in heart.

Jeremiah Chapter 10

¹Hear the word which ForeverOne speaks to you, house of Israel!

²Thus says ForeverOne, "Don't learn the way of the nations, and don't be dismayed at the signs of the sky; for the nations are dismayed at them.

³For the customs of the peoples are vanity; for one cuts a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman with the axe.

⁴They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it not move.

⁵They are like a palm tree, of turned work, and don't speak: they must be carried, because they can't go. Don't be afraid of them; for they can't do evil, neither is it in them to do good." ⁶There is none like you, ForeverOne; you are great, and your name is great in might.

⁷Who should not fear you, King of the nations? For it appertains to you; because among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their royal estate, there is none like you.

⁸But they are together brutish and foolish: the instruction of idols! it is but a stock.

⁹There is silver beaten into plates, which is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the artificer and of the hands of the goldsmith; blue and purple for their clothing; they are all the work of skillful men.

¹⁰But ForeverOne is the true God; he is the living God, and an everlasting King: at his wrath the earth trembles, and the nations are not able to withstand his indignation.

¹¹You shall say this to them: The god that has not made the heavens and the earth shall perish from the earth, and from under the heavens.

¹²He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and by his understanding has he stretched out the heavens: ¹³when he utters his voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and he causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; he makes lightnings for the rain, and brings out the wind from his treasuries.

Psalm 62

For the Chief Musician. To Jeduthan. A Psalm by David.

¹My soul rests in God alone. My salvation is from him.

²He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress - I will never be greatly shaken.

³How long will you assault a man, would all of you throw him down, Like a leaning wall, like a tottering fence?

⁴They fully intend to throw him down from his lofty place. They delight in lies. They bless with their mouth, but they curse inwardly. Selah.

⁵My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.

⁶He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress. I will not be shaken.

⁷With God is my salvation and my honor. The rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

⁸Trust in him at all times, you people. Pour out your heart before him. God is a refuge for us. Selah.

⁹Surely men of low degree are just a breath, and men of high degree are a lie. In the balances they will go up. They are together lighter than a breath.

¹⁰Don't trust in oppression. Don't become vain in robbery. If riches increase, don't set your heart on them.

¹¹God has spoken once; twice I have heard this, that power belongs to God.

¹²Also to you, LordOfMine, belongs loving kindness, for you reward every man according to his work.

Psalm 63

A Psalm by David, when he was in the desert of Judah.

¹God, you are my God. I will earnestly seek you. My soul thirsts for you. My flesh longs for you, in a dry and weary land, where there is no water.

²So I have seen you in the sanctuary, watching your power and your glory.

³Because your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise you.

⁴So I will bless you while I live. I will lift up my hands in your name.

⁵My soul shall be satisfied as with the richest food. My mouth shall praise you with joyful lips, ⁶when I remember you on my bed, and think about you in the night watches.

⁷For you have been my help. I will rejoice in the shadow of your wings.

⁸My soul stays close to you. Your right hand holds me up.

⁹But those who seek my soul, to destroy it, shall go into the lower parts of the earth.

¹⁰They shall be given over to the power of the sword. They shall be jackal food.

¹¹But the king shall rejoice in God. Everyone who swears by him will praise him, for the mouth of those who speak lies shall be silenced.

Romans Chapter 8

²⁶In the same way, the Spirit also helps our weaknesses, for we don't know how to pray as we ought. But the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which can't be uttered.

²⁷He who searches the hearts knows what is on the Spirit's mind, because he makes intercession for the saints according to God.

²⁸We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose.

²⁹For whom he foreknew, he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers.

³⁰Whom he predestined, those he also called. Whom he called, those he also justified. Whom he justified, those he also glorified.

³¹What then shall we say about these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

³²He who didn't spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?

³³Who could bring a charge against God's chosen ones? It is God who justifies.

³⁴Who is he who condemns? It is the AnointedOne who died, yes rather, who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

³⁵Who shall separate us from the love of the AnointedOne? Could oppression, or anguish, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

³⁶Even as it is written, "For your sake we are killed all day long. We were accounted as sheep for the slaughter." ³⁷No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

³⁸For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, ³⁹nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing will be able to separate us from God's love which is in AnointedOne Jesus our Lord.

Romans Chapter 9

¹I tell the truth in the AnointedOne. I am not lying, my conscience testifying with me in the Holy Spirit, ²that I have great sorrow and unceasing pain in my heart.

³For I could wish that I myself were accursed from the AnointedOne for my brothers' sake, my relatives according to the flesh, ⁴who are Israelites; whose is the adoption, the glory, the covenants, the giving of the law, the service, and the promises; ⁵of whom are the fathers, and from whom, according to the flesh, the AnointedOne comes, who is over all, God, blessed forever. Amen.
