Exodus Chapter 40

²²He put the table in the Tent of Meeting, on the side of the tabernacle northward, outside of the veil.

²³He set the bread in order on it before ForeverOne, as ForeverOne commanded Moses.

²⁴He put the lampstand in the Tent of Meeting, opposite the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.

²⁵He lit the lamps before ForeverOne, as ForeverOne commanded Moses.

²⁶He put the golden altar in the Tent of Meeting before the veil; ²⁷and he burned incense of sweet spices on it, as ForeverOne commanded Moses.

²⁸He put up the screen of the door to the tabernacle.

²⁹He set the altar of burnt offering at the door of the tabernacle of the Tent of Meeting, and offered on it the burnt offering and the meal offering, as ForeverOne commanded Moses.

³⁰He set the basin between the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and put water in it, with which to wash.

³¹Moses, Aaron, and his sons washed their hands and their feet there.

³²When they went into the Tent of Meeting, and when they came near to the altar, they washed, as ForeverOne commanded Moses.

³³He raised up the court around the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the screen of the gate of the court. So Moses finished the work.

³⁴Then the cloud covered the Tent of Meeting, and the glory of ForeverOne filled the tabernacle.

³⁵Moses wasn't able to enter into the Tent of Meeting, because the cloud stayed on it, and ForeverOne's glory filled the tabernacle.

³⁶When the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward, throughout all their journeys; ³⁷but if the cloud wasn't taken up, then they didn't travel until the day that it was taken up.

³⁸For the cloud of ForeverOne was on the tabernacle by day, and there was fire in the cloud by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.

2 Kings Chapter 19

²⁹"'This shall be the sign to you: You shall eat this year what grows of itself, and in the second year what springs from it; and in the third year sow, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat its fruit.

³⁰The remnant that has escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.

³¹For out of Jerusalem a remnant will go out, and out of Mount Zion those who shall escape. The zeal of ForeverOne will perform this.' ³²"Therefore thus says ForeverOne concerning the king of Assyria, 'He shall not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there. He will not come before it with shield, nor build a siege ramp against it.

³³By the way that he came, he shall return the same way, and he shall not come to this city,' says ForeverOne.

³⁴'For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake.'" ³⁵That night, the angel of ForeverOne went out and struck one hundred eighty-five thousand in the camp of the Assyrians. When men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.

³⁶So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and lived at Nineveh.

³⁷As he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him with the sword; and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.

2 Kings Chapter 20

¹In those days was Hezekiah sick to death. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, "Thus says ForeverOne, 'Set your house in order; for you shall die, and not live.'" ²Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to ForeverOne, saying, ³"Remember now, ForeverOne, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done what is good in your sight." Hezekiah wept bitterly.

⁴Before Isaiah had gone out into the middle part of the city, the word of ForeverOne came to him, saying, ⁵"Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, 'Thus says ForeverOne, the God of David your father, "I have heard your prayer. I have seen your tears. Behold, I will heal you. On the third day, you shall go up to the house of ForeverOne.

⁶I will add to your days fifteen years. I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria. I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake."'" ⁷Isaiah said, "Take a cake of figs." They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.

⁸Hezekiah said to Isaiah, "What shall be the sign that ForeverOne will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of ForeverOne the third day?" ⁹Isaiah said, "This shall be the sign to you from ForeverOne, that ForeverOne will do the thing that he has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?" ¹⁰Hezekiah answered, "It is a light thing for the shadow to go forward ten steps. Nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps." ¹¹Isaiah the prophet cried to ForeverOne; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.

¹²At that time Berodach Baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a gift to Hezekiah; for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.

¹³Hezekiah listened to them, and showed them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn't show them.

¹⁴Then Isaiah the prophet came to king Hezekiah, and said to him, "What did these men say? Where did they come to you from?" Hezekiah said, "They have come from a far country, even from Babylon." ¹⁵He said, "What have they seen in your house?" Hezekiah answered, "They have seen all that is in my house. There is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them." ¹⁶Isaiah said to Hezekiah, "Hear the word of ForeverOne.

¹⁷'Behold, the days come, that all that is in your house, and what your fathers have laid up in store to this day, shall be carried to Babylon. Nothing shall be left,' says ForeverOne.

Job Chapter 14

⁷"For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, that the tender branch of it will not cease.

⁸Though its root grows old in the earth, and its stock dies in the ground, ⁹yet through the scent of water it will bud, and put out boughs like a plant.

¹⁰But man dies, and is laid low. Yes, man breathes his last, and where is he?

¹¹As the waters fail from the sea, and the river wastes and dries up, ¹²so man lies down and doesn't rise. Until the heavens are no more, they shall not awake, nor be roused out of their sleep.

¹³"Oh that you would hide me in Sheol, that you would keep me secret, until your wrath is past, that you would appoint me a set time, and remember me!

¹⁴If a man dies, shall he live again? All the days of my warfare would I wait, until my release should come.

¹⁵You would call, and I would answer you. You would have a desire to the work of your hands.

¹⁶But now you number my steps. Don't you watch over my sin?

¹⁷My disobedience is sealed up in a bag. You fasten up my iniquity.

¹⁸"But the mountain falling comes to nothing. The rock is removed out of its place; ¹⁹The waters wear the stones. The torrents of it wash away the dust of the earth. So you destroy the hope of man.

²⁰You forever prevail against him, and he departs. You change his face, and send him away.

²¹His sons come to honor, and he doesn't know it. They are brought low, but he doesn't perceive it of them.

²²But his flesh on him has pain, and his soul within him mourns."

Job Chapter 15

John Chapter 19

¹So Pilate then took Jesus, and flogged him.

²The soldiers twisted thorns into a crown, and put it on his head, and dressed him in a purple garment.

³They kept saying, "Hail, King of the Jews!" and they kept slapping him.

⁴Then Pilate went out again, and said to them, "Behold, I bring him out to you, that you may know that I find no basis for a charge against him." ⁵So Jesus came out, wearing the crown of thorns and the purple garment. Pilate said to them, "Behold, the man!" ⁶So when the chief priests and the officers saw him, they shouted, saying, "Crucify! Crucify!" Pilate said to them, "Take him yourselves, and crucify him, for I find no basis for a charge against him." ⁷The Jews answered him, "We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God." ⁸So when Pilate heard this saying, he was more afraid.

⁹He entered into the Praetorium again, and said to Jesus, "Where are you from?" But Jesus gave him no answer.

¹⁰So Pilate said to him, "Aren't you speaking to me? Don't you know that I have power to release you and have power to crucify you?" ¹¹Jesus answered, "You would have no power at all against me, unless it were given to you from above. Therefore he who delivered me to you has greater sin." ¹²At this, Pilate was seeking to release him, but the Jews cried out, saying, "If you release this man, you aren't Caesar's friend! Everyone who makes himself a king speaks against Caesar!" ¹³So when Pilate heard these words, he brought Jesus out and sat down on the judgment seat at a place called "The Pavement", but in Hebrew, "Gabbatha." ¹⁴Now it was the Preparation Day of the Passover, at about the sixth hour. He said to the Jews, "Behold, your King!" ¹⁵They cried out, "Away with him! Away with him! Crucify him!" Pilate said to them, "Shall I crucify your King?" The chief priests answered, "We have no king but Caesar!" ¹⁶So then he delivered him to them to be crucified. So they took Jesus and led him away.

¹⁷He went out, bearing his cross, to the place called "The Place of a Skull", which is called "Golgotha" in Hebrew, ¹⁸where they crucified him, and with him two others, on either side one, and Jesus in the middle.
