Exodus Chapter 25

³¹"You shall make a lampstand of pure gold. Of hammered work shall the lampstand be made, even its base, its shaft, its cups, its buds, and its flowers, shall be of one piece with it.

³²There shall be six branches going out of its sides: three branches of the lampstand out of its one side, and three branches of the lampstand out of its other side; ³³three cups made like almond blossoms in one branch, a bud and a flower; and three cups made like almond blossoms in the other branch, a bud and a flower, so for the six branches going out of the lampstand; ³⁴and in the lampstand four cups made like almond blossoms, its buds and its flowers; ³⁵and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, and a bud under two branches of one piece with it, for the six branches going out of the lampstand.

³⁶Their buds and their branches shall be of one piece with it, all of it one beaten work of pure gold.

³⁷You shall make its lamps seven, and they shall light its lamps to give light to the space in front of it.

³⁸Its snuffers and its snuff dishes shall be of pure gold.

³⁹It shall be made of a talent of pure gold, with all these accessories.

⁴⁰See that you make them after their pattern, which has been shown to you on the mountain.

Exodus Chapter 26

¹"Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains; of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, with cherubim. The work of the skillful workman you shall make them.

²The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the width of each curtain four cubits: all the curtains shall have one measure.

³Five curtains shall be coupled together one to another; and the other five curtains shall be coupled one to another.

⁴You shall make loops of blue on the edge of the one curtain from the edge in the coupling; and likewise you shall make in the edge of the curtain that is outmost in the second coupling.

⁵You shall make fifty loops in the one curtain, and you shall make fifty loops in the edge of the curtain that is in the second coupling. The loops shall be opposite one to another.

⁶You shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to another with the clasps: and the tabernacle shall be a unit.

1 Kings Chapter 17

¹⁷After these things the son of the woman, the mistress of the house, fell sick; and his sickness was so severe, that there was no breath left in him.

¹⁸She said to Elijah, "What have I to do with you, you man of God? You have come to me to bring my sin to memory, and to kill my son!" ¹⁹He said to her, "Give me your son." He took him out of her bosom, and carried him up into the room where he stayed, and laid him on his own bed.

²⁰He cried to ForeverOne, and said, "ForeverOne my God, have you also brought evil on the widow I stay with by killing her son?" ²¹He stretched himself on the child three times, and cried to ForeverOne, and said, "ForeverOne my God, please let this child's soul enter him again." ²²ForeverOne listened to the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

²³Elijah took the child, and brought him down out of the room into the house, and delivered him to his mother; and Elijah said, "Behold, your son lives." ²⁴The woman said to Elijah, "Now I know that you are a man of God, and that the word of ForeverOne in your mouth is truth."

¹⁴The chiefs of the people: Parosh, Pahathmoab, Elam, Zattu, Bani, ¹⁵Bunni, Azgad, Bebai, ¹⁶Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin, ¹⁷Ater, Hezekiah, Azzur, ¹⁸Hodiah, Hashum, Bezai, ¹⁹Hariph, Anathoth, Nobai, ²⁰Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir, ²¹Meshezabel, Zadok, Jaddua, ²²Pelatiah, Hanan, Anaiah, ²³Hoshea, Hananiah, Hasshub, ²⁴Hallohesh, Pilha, Shobek, ²⁵Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah, ²⁶and Ahiah, Hanan, Anan, ²⁷Malluch, Harim, Baanah.

²⁸The rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinim, and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands to the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, everyone who had knowledge, and understanding - ²⁹they joined with their brothers, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God's law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of ForeverOne our Lord, and his ordinances and his statutes; ³⁰and that we would not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons; ³¹and if the peoples of the land bring wares or any grain on the Sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy of them on the Sabbath, or on a holy day; and that we would forego the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

³²Also we made ordinances for ourselves, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God; ³³for the show bread, and for the continual meal offering, and for the continual burnt offering, for the Sabbaths, for the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

³⁴We cast lots, the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, according to our fathers' houses, at times appointed, year by year, to burn on the altar of ForeverOne our God, as it is written in the law; ³⁵and to bring the first fruits of our ground, and the first fruits of all fruit of all kinds of trees, year by year, to the house of ForeverOne; ³⁶also the firstborn of our sons, and of our livestock, as it is written in the law, and the firstborn of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God;

John Chapter 2

¹The third day, there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee. Jesus' mother was there.

²Jesus also was invited, with his disciples, to the wedding.

³When the wine ran out, Jesus' mother said to him, "They have no wine." ⁴Jesus said to her, "Woman, what does that have to do with you and me? My hour has not yet come." ⁵His mother said to the servants, "Whatever he says to you, do it." ⁶Now there were six water pots of stone set there after the Jews' way of purifying, containing two or three metretes apiece.

⁷Jesus said to them, "Fill the water pots with water." So they filled them up to the brim.

⁸He said to them, "Now draw some out, and take it to the ruler of the feast." So they took it.

⁹When the ruler of the feast tasted the water now become wine, and didn't know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the ruler of the feast called the bridegroom ¹⁰and said to him, "Everyone serves the good wine first, and when the guests have drunk freely, then what is worse. You have kept the good wine until now!" ¹¹This beginning of his signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and revealed his glory; and his disciples believed in him.

¹²After this, he went down to Capernaum, he, and his mother, his brothers, and his disciples; and they stayed there a few days.

¹³The Passover of the Jews was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

¹⁴He found in the temple those who sold oxen, sheep, and doves, and the changers of money sitting.

¹⁵He made a whip of cords, and threw all out of the temple, both the sheep and the oxen; and he poured out the changers' money and overthrew their tables.

¹⁶To those who sold the doves, he said, "Take these things out of here! Don't make my Father's house a marketplace!" ¹⁷His disciples remembered that it was written, "Zeal for your house will eat me up." ¹⁸The Jews therefore answered him, "What sign do you show us, seeing that you do these things?" ¹⁹Jesus answered them, "Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up." ²⁰So the Jews said, "It took forty-six years to build this temple! Will you raise it up in three days?" ²¹But he spoke of the temple of his body.

²²So when he was raised from the dead, his disciples remembered that he said this, and they believed the Scripture, and the word which Jesus had said.

²³Now when he was in Jerusalem at the Passover, during the feast, many believed in his name, observing his signs which he did.

²⁴But Jesus didn't entrust himself to them, because he knew everyone, ²⁵and because he didn't need for anyone to testify concerning man; for he himself knew what was in man.
