Genesis Chapter 41

37The thing was good in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of all his servants.

38Pharaoh said to his servants, "Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom is the Spirit of God?" 39Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Because God has shown you all of this, there is none so discreet and wise as you.

40You shall be over my house, and according to your word will all my people be ruled. Only in the throne I will be greater than you." 41Pharaoh said to Joseph, "Behold, I have set you over all the land of Egypt." 42Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it on Joseph's hand, and arrayed him in robes of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck, 43and he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had. They cried before him, "Bow the knee!" He set him over all the land of Egypt.

44Pharaoh said to Joseph, "I am Pharaoh, and without you shall no man lift up his hand or his foot in all the land of Egypt." 45Pharaoh called Joseph's name Zaphenath-Paneah; and he gave him Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On as a wife. Joseph went out over the land of Egypt.

46Joseph was thirty years old when he stood before Pharaoh king of Egypt. Joseph went out from the presence of Pharaoh, and went throughout all the land of Egypt.

47In the seven plenteous years the earth produced abundantly.

48He gathered up all the food of the seven years which were in the land of Egypt, and laid up the food in the cities: the food of the field, which was around every city, he laid up in them.

49Joseph laid up grain as the sand of the sea, very much, until he stopped counting, for it was without number.

50To Joseph were born two sons before the year of famine came, whom Asenath, the daughter of Potiphera priest of On, bore to him.

51Joseph called the name of the firstborn Manasseh, "For," he said, "God has made me forget all my toil, and all my father's house." 52The name of the second, he called Ephraim: "For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction." 53The seven years of plenty, that were in the land of Egypt, came to an end.

54The seven years of famine began to come, just as Joseph had said. There was famine in all lands, but in all the land of Egypt there was bread.

55When all the land of Egypt was famished, the people cried to Pharaoh for bread, and Pharaoh said to all the Egyptians, "Go to Joseph. What he says to you, do." 56The famine was over all the surface of the earth. Joseph opened all the store houses, and sold to the Egyptians. The famine was severe in the land of Egypt.

57All countries came into Egypt, to Joseph, to buy grain, because the famine was severe in all the earth.

1 Samuel 20:24-21:6

1 Samuel Chapter 20

24So David hid himself in the field: and when the new moon had come, the king sat him down to eat food.

25The king sat on his seat, as at other times, even on the seat by the wall; and Jonathan stood up, and Abner sat by Saul's side: but David's place was empty.

26Nevertheless Saul didn't say anything that day: for he thought, "Something has happened to him. He is not clean. Surely he is not clean." 27The next day after the new moon, the second day, David's place was empty. Saul said to Jonathan his son, "Why doesn't the son of Jesse come to eat, neither yesterday, nor today?" 28Jonathan answered Saul, "David earnestly asked leave of me to go to Bethlehem.

29He said, 'Please let me go, for our family has a sacrifice in the city. My brother has commanded me to be there. Now, if I have found favor in your eyes, please let me go away and see my brothers.' Therefore he has not come to the king's table." 30Then Saul's anger was kindled against Jonathan, and he said to him, "You son of a perverse rebellious woman, don't I know that you have chosen the son of Jesse to your own shame, and to the shame of your mother's nakedness?

31For as long as the son of Jesse lives on the earth, you shall not be established, nor your kingdom. Therefore now send and bring him to me, for he shall surely die!" 32Jonathan answered Saul his father, and said to him, "Why should he be put to death? What has he done?" 33Saul threw his spear at him to strike him. By this Jonathan knew that his father was determined to put David to death.

34So Jonathan arose from the table in fierce anger, and ate no food the second day of the month; for he was grieved for David, because his father had done him shame.

35In the morning Jonathan went out into the field at the time appointed with David, and a little boy with him.

36He said to his boy, "Run, find now the arrows which I shoot." As the boy ran, he shot an arrow beyond him.

37When the boy had come to the place of the arrow which Jonathan had shot, Jonathan cried after the boy, and said, "Isn't the arrow beyond you?" 38Jonathan cried after the boy, "Go fast! Hurry! Don't delay!" Jonathan's boy gathered up the arrows, and came to his master.

39But the boy didn't know anything. Only Jonathan and David knew the matter.

40Jonathan gave his weapons to his boy, and said to him, "Go, carry them to the city." 41As soon as the boy was gone, David arose out of [a place] toward the South, and fell on his face to the ground, and bowed himself three times. They kissed one another, and wept one with another, and David wept the most.

42Jonathan said to David, "Go in peace, because we have both sworn in the name of ForeverOne, saying, 'ForeverOne shall be between me and you, and between my offspring and your offspring, forever.'" He arose and departed; and Jonathan went into the city.

1 Samuel Chapter 21

1Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest. Ahimelech came to meet David trembling, and said to him, "Why are you alone, and no man with you?" 2David said to Ahimelech the priest, "The king has commanded me a business, and has said to me, 'Let no man know anything of the business about which I send you, and what I have commanded you; and I have appointed the young men to such and such a place.' 3Now therefore what is under your hand? Give me five loaves of bread in my hand, or whatever there is present." 4The priest answered David, and said, "There is no common bread under my hand, but there is holy bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women." 5David answered the priest, and said to him, "Truly, women have been kept from us about these three days. When I came out, the vessels of the young men were holy, though it was but a common journey. How much more then today shall their vessels be holy?" 6So the priest gave him holy [bread]; for there was no bread there but the show bread, that was taken from before ForeverOne, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away.

2 Chronicles 18:1-17

2 Chronicles Chapter 18

1Now Jehoshaphat had riches and honor in abundance; and he joined affinity with Ahab.

2After certain years he went down to Ahab to Samaria. Ahab killed sheep and cattle for him in abundance, and for the people who were with him, and moved him to go up [with him] to Ramoth Gilead.

3Ahab king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat king of Judah, "Will you go with me to Ramoth Gilead?" He answered him, "I am as you are, and my people as your people. We will be with you in the war." 4Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, "Please inquire first for the word of ForeverOne." 5Then the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, four hundred men, and said to them, "Shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?" They said, "Go up; for God will deliver it into the hand of the king." 6But Jehoshaphat said, "Isn't there here a prophet of ForeverOne besides, that we may inquire of him?" 7The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of ForeverOne; but I hate him, for he never prophesies good concerning me, but always evil. He is Micaiah the son of Imla." Jehoshaphat said, "Don't let the king say so." 8Then the king of Israel called an officer, and said, "Get Micaiah the son of Imla quickly." 9Now the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah sat each on his throne, arrayed in their robes, and they were sitting in an open place at the entrance of the gate of Samaria; and all the prophets were prophesying before them.

10Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah made him horns of iron, and said, "Thus says ForeverOne, 'With these you shall push the Syrians, until they are consumed.'" 11All the prophets prophesied so, saying, "Go up to Ramoth Gilead, and prosper; for ForeverOne will deliver it into the hand of the king." 12The messenger who went to call Micaiah spoke to him, saying, "Behold, the words of the prophets [declare] good to the king with one mouth. Let your word therefore, please be like one of theirs, and speak good." 13Micaiah said, "As ForeverOne lives, what my God says, that will I speak." 14When he had come to the king, the king said to him, "Micaiah, shall we go to Ramoth Gilead to battle, or shall I forbear?" He said, "Go up, and prosper. They shall be delivered into your hand." 15The king said to him, "How many times shall I adjure you that you speak to me nothing but the truth in the name of ForeverOne?" 16He said, "I saw all Israel scattered on the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd. ForeverOne said, 'These have no master. Let them return every man to his house in peace.'" 17The king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, "Didn't I tell you that he would not prophesy good concerning me, but evil?"

Mark 13:1-23

Mark Chapter 13

1As he went out of the temple, one of his disciples said to him, "Teacher, see what kind of stones and what kind of buildings!" 2Jesus said to him, "Do you see these great buildings? There will not be left here one stone on another, which will not be thrown down." 3As he sat on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John, and Andrew asked him privately, 4"Tell us, when will these things be? What is the sign that these things are all about to be fulfilled?" 5Jesus, answering, began to tell them, "Be careful that no one leads you astray.

6For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am he!' and will lead many astray.

7"When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don't be troubled. For those must happen, but the end is not yet.

8For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places. There will be famines and troubles. These things are the beginning of birth pains.

9But watch yourselves, for they will deliver you up to councils. You will be beaten in synagogues. You will stand before rulers and kings for my sake, for a testimony to them.

10The Good News must first be preached to all the nations.

11When they lead you away and deliver you up, don't be anxious beforehand, or premeditate what you will say, but say whatever will be given you in that hour. For it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit.

12"Brother will deliver up brother to death, and the father his child. Children will rise up against parents, and cause them to be put to death.

13You will be hated by all men for my name's sake, but he who endures to the end will be saved.

14But when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, standing where it ought not" (let the reader understand), "then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains, 15and let him who is on the housetop not go down, nor enter in, to take anything out of his house.

16Let him who is in the field not return back to take his cloak.

17But woe to those who are with child and to those who nurse babies in those days!

18Pray that your flight won't be in the winter.

19For in those days there will be oppression unlike any before, from the beginning of the creation which God created until now. And never will be.

20Unless ForeverOne had shortened the days, no flesh would have been saved; but for the sake of the chosen ones, whom he picked out, he shortened the days.

21Then if anyone tells you, 'Look, here is the AnointedOne!' or, 'Look, there!' don't believe it.

22For there will arise false-christs and false prophets, and will show signs and wonders, that they may lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones.

23But you watch. "Behold, I have told you all things beforehand.
