Exodus Chapter 8

¹⁶ForeverOne said to Moses, "Tell Aaron, 'Stretch out your rod, and strike the dust of the earth, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.'" ¹⁷They did so; and Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and struck the dust of the earth, and there were lice on man, and on animal; all the dust of the earth became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

¹⁸The magicians tried with their enchantments to produce lice, but they couldn't. There were lice on man, and on animal.

¹⁹Then the magicians said to Pharaoh, "This is the finger of God:" and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he didn't listen to them; as ForeverOne had spoken.

²⁰ForeverOne said to Moses, "Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; behold, he comes out to the water; and tell him, 'This is what ForeverOne says, "Let my people go, that they may serve me.

²¹Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you, and on your servants, and on your people, and into your houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground where they are.

²²I will set apart in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end you may know that I am ForeverOne in the midst of the earth.

²³I will put a division between my people and your people: by tomorrow shall this sign be."'" ²⁴ForeverOne did so; and there came grievous swarms of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses: and in all the land of Egypt the land was corrupted by reason of the swarms of flies.

2 Samuel Chapter 18

²⁴Now David was sitting between the two gates: and the watchman went up to the roof of the gate to the wall, and lifted up his eyes, and looked, and, behold, a man running alone.

²⁵The watchman cried, and told the king. The king said, "If he is alone, there is news in his mouth." He came closer and closer.

²⁶The watchman saw another man running; and the watchman called to the porter, and said, "Behold, a man running alone!" The king said, "He also brings news." ²⁷The watchman said, "I think the running of the first one is like the running of Ahimaaz the son of Zadok." The king said, "He is a good man, and comes with good news." ²⁸Ahimaaz called, and said to the king, "All is well." He bowed himself before the king with his face to the earth, and said, "Blessed is ForeverOne your God, who has delivered up the men who lifted up their hand against my lord the king!" ²⁹The king said, "Is it well with the young man Absalom?" Ahimaaz answered, "When Joab sent the king's servant, even me your servant, I saw a great tumult, but I don't know what it was." ³⁰The king said, "Turn aside, and stand here." He turned aside, and stood still.

³¹Behold, the Cushite came. The Cushite said, "News for my lord the king; for ForeverOne has avenged you today of all those who rose up against you." ³²The king said to the Cushite, "Is it well with the young man Absalom?" The Cushite answered, "May the enemies of my lord the king, and all who rise up against you to do you harm, be as that young man is." ³³The king was much moved, and went up to the room over the gate, and wept. As he went, he said, "My son Absalom! My son, my son Absalom! I wish I had died for you, Absalom, my son, my son!"

2 Samuel Chapter 19

¹Joab was told "Behold, the king weeps and mourns for Absalom." ²The victory that day was turned into mourning to all the people; for the people heard it said that day, "The king grieves for his son." ³The people snuck into the city that day, as people who are ashamed steal away when they flee in battle.

⁴The king covered his face, and the king cried with a loud voice, "My son Absalom, Absalom, my son, my son!" ⁵Joab came into the house to the king, and said, "You have today shamed the faces of all your servants, who today have saved your life, and the lives of your sons and of your daughters, and the lives of your wives, and the lives of your concubines; ⁶in that you love those who hate you, and hate those who love you. For you have declared today, that princes and servants are nothing to you. For today I perceive that if Absalom had lived, and all we had died today, then it would have pleased you well.

⁷Now therefore arise, go out, and speak to comfort your servants; for I swear by ForeverOne, if you don't go out, not a man will stay with you this night. That would be worse to you than all the evil that has happened to you from your youth until now." ⁸Then the king arose, and sat in the gate. They told to all the people, saying, "Behold, the king is sitting in the gate." All the people came before the king. Now Israel had fled every man to his tent.

⁹All the people were at strife throughout all the tribes of Israel, saying, "The king delivered us out of the hand of our enemies, and he saved us out of the hand of the Philistines; and now he has fled out of the land from Absalom.

¹⁰Absalom, whom we anointed over us, is dead in battle. Now therefore why don't you speak a word of bringing the king back?" ¹¹King David sent to Zadok and to Abiathar the priests, saying, "Speak to the elders of Judah, saying, 'Why are you the last to bring the king back to his house? Since the speech of all Israel has come to the king, to return him to his house.

¹²You are my brothers, you are my bone and my flesh. Then why are you the last to bring back the king?' ¹³Say to Amasa, 'Aren't you my bone and my flesh? May God so deal with me, and even more, if you aren't captain of the army before me continually in the room of Joab.'" ¹⁴He bowed the heart of all the men of Judah, even as [the heart of] one man; so that they sent to the king, saying, "Return, you and all your servants." ¹⁵So the king returned, and came to the Jordan. Judah came to Gilgal, to go to meet the king, to bring the king over the Jordan.

2 Chronicles Chapter 36

¹⁰At the return of the year king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of ForeverOne, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.

¹¹Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he began to reign; and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: ¹²and he did what was evil in the sight of ForeverOne his God; he didn't humble himself before Jeremiah the prophet [speaking] from the mouth of ForeverOne.

¹³He also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart against turning to ForeverOne, the God of Israel.

¹⁴Moreover all the chiefs of the priests, and the people, trespassed very greatly after all the abominations of the nations; and they polluted the house of ForeverOne which he had made holy in Jerusalem.

¹⁵ForeverOne, the God of their fathers, sent to them by his messengers, rising up early and sending, because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place: ¹⁶but they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and scoffed at his prophets, until the wrath of ForeverOne arose against his people, until there was no remedy.

¹⁷Therefore he brought on them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, old man or gray-headed: he gave them all into his hand.

¹⁸All the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of ForeverOne, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes, all these he brought to Babylon.

¹⁹They burned the house of God, and broke down the wall of Jerusalem, and burned all its palaces with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels of it.

²⁰He carried those who had escaped from the sword away to Babylon; and they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia: ²¹to fulfill the word of ForeverOne by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its Sabbaths: [for] as long as it lay desolate it kept Sabbath, to fulfill seventy years.

²²Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of ForeverOne by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, ForeverOne stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, so that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and [put it] also in writing, saying, ²³"Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, 'ForeverOne, the God of heaven, has given all the kingdoms of the earth to me; and he has commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all his people, ForeverOne his God be with him, and let him go up.'"

Luke Chapter 10

¹Now after these things, the Lord also appointed seventy others, and sent them two by two ahead of him into every city and place where he was about to come.

²Then he said to them, "The harvest is indeed plentiful, but the laborers are few. So pray to the Lord of the harvest, that he may send out laborers into his harvest.

³Go your ways. Behold, I send you out as lambs among wolves.

⁴Carry no purse, nor wallet, nor sandals. Greet no one on the way.

⁵Into whatever house you enter, first say, 'Peace be to this house.' ⁶If a son of peace is there, your peace will rest on him; but if not, it will return to you.

⁷Remain in that same house, eating and drinking the things they give, for the laborer is worthy of his wages. Don't go from house to house.

⁸Into whatever city you enter, and they receive you, eat the things that are set before you.

⁹Heal the sick who are there, and tell them, 'God's Kingdom has come near to you.' ¹⁰But into whatever city you enter, and they don't receive you, go out into its streets and say, ¹¹'Even the dust from your city that clings to us, we wipe off against you. Nevertheless know this, that God's Kingdom has come near to you.' ¹²I tell you, it will be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.

¹³"Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the mighty acts had been done in Tyre and Sidon which were done in you, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

¹⁴But it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon in the judgment than for you.

¹⁵You, Capernaum, who are exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades.

¹⁶Whoever listens to you listens to me, and whoever rejects you rejects me. Whoever rejects me rejects him who sent me." ¹⁷The seventy returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!" ¹⁸He said to them, "I saw Satan having fallen like lightning from heaven.

¹⁹Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you.

²⁰Nevertheless, don't rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."
