Deuteronomy Chapter 23

¹⁹You shall not lend on interest to your brother; interest of money, interest of food, interest of anything that is lent on interest: ²⁰to a foreigner you may lend on interest; but to your brother you shall not lend on interest, that ForeverOne your God may bless you in all that you put your hand to, in the land where you go in to possess it.

²¹When you shall vow a vow to ForeverOne your God, you shall not be slack to pay it: for ForeverOne your God will surely require it of you; and it would be sin in you.

²²But if you shall forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in you.

²³What has gone out of your lips you shall observe and do; according as you have vowed to ForeverOne your God, a freewill offering, which you have promised with your mouth.

²⁴When you enter your neighbor's vineyard, then you may eat of grapes your fill at your own pleasure; but you shall not put any in your vessel.

²⁵When you enter your neighbor's standing grain, then you may pluck the ears with your hand; but you shall not move a sickle to your neighbor's standing grain.

Deuteronomy Chapter 24

¹When a man takes a wife, and marries her, then it shall be, if she find no favor in his eyes, because he has found some unseemly thing in her, that he shall write her a bill of divorce, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house.

²When she is departed out of his house, she may go and be another man's [wife].

³If the latter husband hate her, and write her a bill of divorce, and give it in her hand, and send her out of his house; or if the latter husband die, who took her to be his wife; ⁴her former husband, who sent her away, may not take her again to be his wife, after that she is defiled; for that is abomination before ForeverOne: and you shall not cause the land to sin, which ForeverOne your God gives you for an inheritance.

⁵When a man takes a new wife, he shall not go out in the army, nor should he be assigned any business. He shall be free at home for one year, and shall cheer his wife whom he has taken.

⁶No man shall take the mill or the upper millstone to pledge; for he takes [a man's] life to pledge.

Micah Chapter 1

¹The word of ForeverOne that came to Micah the Morashtite in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, which he saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem.

²Hear, you peoples, all of you. Listen, O earth, and all that is in it: and let LordOfMine ForeverOne be witness against you, LordOfMine from his holy temple.

³For, behold, ForeverOne comes forth out of his place, and will come down and tread on the high places of the earth.

⁴The mountains melt under him, and the valleys split apart, like wax before the fire, like waters that are poured down a steep place.

⁵"All this is for the disobedience of Jacob, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the disobedience of Jacob? Isn't it Samaria? And what are the high places of Judah? Aren't they Jerusalem?

⁶Therefore I will make Samaria like a rubble heap of the field, like places for planting vineyards; and I will pour down its stones into the valley, and I will uncover its foundations.

⁷All her idols will be beaten to pieces, and all her temple gifts will be burned with fire, and all her images I will destroy; for of the hire of a prostitute has she gathered them, and to the hire of a prostitute shall they return." ⁸For this I will lament and wail; I will go stripped and naked; I will howl like the jackals, and moan like the daughters of owls.

⁹For her wounds are incurable; for it has come even to Judah. It reaches to the gate of my people, even to Jerusalem.

¹⁰Don't tell it in Gath. Don't weep at all. At Beth Ophrah I have rolled myself in the dust.

¹¹Pass on, inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame. The inhabitant of Zaanan won't come out. The wailing of Beth Ezel will take from you his protection.

¹²For the inhabitant of Maroth waits anxiously for good, because evil has come down from ForeverOne to the gate of Jerusalem.

¹³Harness the chariot to the swift steed, inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin to the daughter of Zion; For the transgressions of Israel were found in you.

¹⁴Therefore you will give a parting gift to Moresheth Gath. The houses of Achzib will be a deceitful thing to the kings of Israel.

¹⁵I will yet bring to you, inhabitant of Mareshah. He who is the glory of Israel will come to Adullam.

¹⁶Shave your heads, and cut off your hair for the children of your delight. Enlarge your baldness like the vulture; for they have gone into captivity from you!

Micah Chapter 2

¹Woe to those who devise iniquity and work evil on their beds! When the morning is light, they practice it, because it is in the power of their hand.

²They covet fields, and seize them; and houses, and take them away: and they oppress a man and his house, even a man and his heritage.

³Therefore thus says ForeverOne: "Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily; for it is an evil time.

⁴In that day they will take up a parable against you, and lament with a doleful lamentation, saying, 'We are utterly ruined! My people's possession is divided up. Indeed he takes it from me and assigns our fields to traitors!'" ⁵Therefore you will have no one who divides the land by lot in the assembly of ForeverOne.

⁶"Don't prophesy!" They prophesy. "Don't prophesy about these things. Disgrace won't overtake us." ⁷Shall it be said, O house of Jacob: "Is the Spirit of ForeverOne angry? Are these his doings? Don't my words do good to him who walks blamelessly?" ⁸But lately my people have risen up as an enemy. You strip the robe and clothing from those who pass by without a care, returning from battle.

⁹You drive the women of my people out from their pleasant houses; from their young children you take away my blessing forever.

¹⁰Arise, and depart! For this is not your resting place, because of uncleanness that destroys, even with a grievous destruction.

¹¹If a man walking in a spirit of falsehood lies: "I will prophesy to you of wine and of strong drink;" he would be the prophet of this people.

Daniel Chapter 1

¹⁷Now as for these four youths, God gave them knowledge and skill in all learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.

¹⁸At the end of the days which the king had appointed for bringing them in, the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

¹⁹The king talked with them; and among them all was found none like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.

²⁰In every matter of wisdom and understanding, concerning which the king inquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters who were in all his realm.

²¹Daniel continued even to the first year of king Cyrus.

Daniel Chapter 2

¹In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams; and his spirit was troubled, and his sleep went from him.

²Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the enchanters, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.

³The king said to them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.

⁴Then spoke the Chaldeans to the king in the Syrian language, O king, live forever: tell your servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.

⁵The king answered the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if you don't make known to me the dream and its interpretation, you shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.

⁶But if you show the dream and its interpretation, you shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honor: therefore show me the dream and its interpretation.

⁷They answered the second time and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.

⁸The king answered, I know of a certainty that you would gain time, because you see the thing is gone from me.

⁹But if you don't make known to me the dream, there is but one law for you; for you have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, until the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that you can show me its interpretation.

¹⁰The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man on the earth who can show the king's matter, because no king, chief, or ruler, has asked such a thing of any magician, or enchanter, or Chaldean.

¹¹It is a rare thing that the king requires, and there is no other who can show it before the king, except God, whose dwelling is not with flesh.

¹²For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.

¹³So the decree went forth, and the wise men were to be slain; and they sought Daniel and his companions to be slain.

Revelation Chapter 2

¹"To the angel of the assembly in Ephesus write: "He who holds the seven stars in his right hand, he who walks among the seven golden lampstands says these things: ²"I know your actions, and your toil and perseverance, and that you can't tolerate evil men, and have tested those who call themselves apostles, and they are not, and found them false.

³You have perseverance and have endured for my name's sake, and have not grown weary.

⁴But I have this against you, that you left your first love.

⁵So remember where you have fallen from, and repent and do the first actions; or else I am coming to you swiftly, and will move your lampstand out of its place, unless you repent.

⁶But this you have, that you hate the actions of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.

⁷He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of my God.

⁸"To the angel of the assembly in Smyrna write: "The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life says these things: ⁹"I know your actions, oppression, and your poverty (but you are rich), and the blasphemy of those who say they are Jews, and they are not, but are a synagogue of Satan.

¹⁰Don't be afraid of the things which you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to throw some of you into prison, that you may be tested; and you will have oppression for ten days. Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.

¹¹He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. He who overcomes won't be harmed by the second death.

¹²"To the angel of the assembly in Pergamum write: "He who has the sharp two-edged sword says these things: ¹³"I know your actions and where you dwell, where Satan's throne is. You hold firmly to my name, and didn't deny my faith in the days of Antipas my witness, my faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells.

¹⁴But I have a few things against you, because you have there some who hold the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to throw a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed to idols, and to commit sexual immorality.

¹⁵So you also have some who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans likewise.

¹⁶So repent, or else I am coming to you quickly, and I will make war against them with the sword of my mouth.

¹⁷He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden manna, and I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written, which no one knows but he who receives it.
