Numbers 27:12-28:8

20 verses

Numbers Chapter 27

12ForeverOne said to Moses, "Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.

13When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered; 14because you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the waters before their eyes." (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.) 15Moses spoke to ForeverOne, saying, 16"Let ForeverOne, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation, 17who may go out before them, and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out, and who may bring them in; that the congregation of ForeverOne not be as sheep which have no shepherd." 18ForeverOne said to Moses, "Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him; 19and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and commission him in their sight.

20You shall put of your honor on him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey.

21He shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before ForeverOne: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation." 22Moses did as ForeverOne commanded him; and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation: 23and he laid his hands on him, and commissioned him, as ForeverOne spoke by Moses.

Numbers Chapter 28

1ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, 2"Command the children of Israel, and tell them, 'My offering, my food for my offerings made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to me, you shall observe to offer to me in their due season.' 3You shall tell them, 'This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to ForeverOne: male lambs a year old without blemish, two day by day, for a continual burnt offering.

4You shall offer the one lamb in the morning, and you shall offer the other lamb at evening; 5with the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil.

6It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in Mount Sinai for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to ForeverOne.

7Its drink offering shall be the fourth part of a hin for the one lamb. You shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to ForeverOne in the holy place.

8The other lamb you shall offer at evening: as the meal offering of the morning, and as the drink offering of it, you shall offer it, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to ForeverOne.

Ezekiel 11:13-12:7

20 verses

Ezekiel Chapter 11

13When I prophesied, Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down on my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah LordOfMine ForeverOne! will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

14The word of ForeverOne came to me, saying, 15Son of man, your brothers, even your brothers, the men of your relatives, and all the house of Israel, all of them, [are they] to whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Go far away from ForeverOne. This land has been given to us for a possession.

16Therefore say, Thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: Whereas I have removed them far off among the nations, and whereas I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them a sanctuary for a little while in the countries where they have come to.

17Therefore say, Thus says LordOfMine ForeverOne: I will gather you from the peoples, and assemble you out of the countries where you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

18They shall come there, and they shall take away all the detestable things of it and all its abominations from there.

19I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh; 20that they may walk in my statutes, and keep my ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

21But as for them whose heart walks after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will bring their way on their own heads, says LordOfMine ForeverOne.

22Then the cherubim lifted up their wings, and the wheels were beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

23The glory of ForeverOne went up from the midst of the city, and stood on the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

24The Spirit lifted me up, and brought me in the vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

25Then I spoke to them of the captivity all the things that ForeverOne had shown me.

Ezekiel Chapter 12

1The word of ForeverOne also came to me, saying, 2Son of man, you dwell in the midst of the rebellious house, who have eyes to see, and don't see, who have ears to hear, and don't hear; for they are a rebellious house.

3Therefore, you son of man, prepare your stuff for moving, and move by day in their sight; and you shall move from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they are a rebellious house.

4You shall bring forth your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for moving; and you yourself will go forth in the evening in their sight, as when men go forth into exile.

5Dig through the wall in their sight, and carry your stuff out that way.

6In their sight you shall bear it on your shoulder, and carry it forth in the dark; you shall cover your face, so that you don't see the land: for I have set you for a sign to the house of Israel.

7I did just as I was commanded. I brought out my stuff by day, as stuff for removing, and in the evening I dug through the wall with my hand; I brought it forth in the dark, and bore it on my shoulder in their sight.

Psalm 143-144

29 verses

Psalm 143

A Psalm by David.

1Hear my prayer, ForeverOne. Listen to my petitions. In your faithfulness and righteousness, relieve me.

2Don't enter into judgment with your servant, for in your sight no man living is righteous.

3For the enemy pursues my soul. He has struck my life down to the ground. He has made me live in dark places, as those who have been long dead.

4Therefore my spirit is overwhelmed within me. My heart within me is desolate.

5I remember the days of old. I meditate on all your doings. I contemplate the work of your hands.

6I spread forth my hands to you. My soul thirsts for you, like a parched land. Selah.

7Hurry to answer me, ForeverOne. My spirit fails. Don't hide your face from me, so that I don't become like those who go down into the pit.

8Cause me to hear your loving kindness in the morning, for I trust in you. Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to you.

9Deliver me, ForeverOne, from my enemies. I flee to you to hide me.

10Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Your Spirit is good. Lead me in the land of uprightness.

11Revive me, ForeverOne, for your name's sake. In your righteousness, bring my soul out of trouble.

12In your loving kindness, cut off my enemies, and destroy all those who afflict my soul, For I am your servant.

Psalm 144

By David.

1Blessed be ForeverOne, my rock, who teaches my hands to war, and my fingers to battle: 2my loving kindness, my fortress, my high tower, my deliverer, my shield, and he in whom I take refuge; who subdues my people under me.

3ForeverOne, what is man, that you care for him? Or the son of man, that you think of him?

4Man is like a breath. His days are like a shadow that passes away.

5Part your heavens, ForeverOne, and come down. Touch the mountains, and they will smoke.

6Throw out lightning, and scatter them. Send out your arrows, and rout them.

7Stretch out your hand from above, rescue me, and deliver me out of great waters, out of the hands of foreigners; 8whose mouths speak deceit, Whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

9I will sing a new song to you, God. On a ten-stringed lyre, I will sing praises to you.

10You are he who gives salvation to kings, who rescues David, his servant, from the deadly sword.

11Rescue me, and deliver me out of the hands of foreigners, whose mouths speak deceit, whose right hand is a right hand of falsehood.

12Then our sons will be like well-nurtured plants, our daughters like pillars carved to adorn a palace.

13Our barns are full, filled with all kinds of provision. Our sheep produce thousands and ten thousands in our fields.

14Our oxen will pull heavy loads. There is no breaking in, and no going away, and no outcry in our streets.

15Happy are the people who are in such a situation. Happy are the people whose God is ForeverOne.

Philippians 2

30 verses

Philippians Chapter 2

1So if there is any exhortation in the AnointedOne, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassion, 2fulfil my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.

3Do nothing through rivalry or conceit, but in humility, each counting others better than themselves.

4Let each of you not only look after yourselves, but also look after others.

5Have this in your mind, which was also in AnointedOne Jesus, 6who, existing in the form of God, didn't consider equality with God a thing to be grasped, 7but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men.

8And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient; obedient to the point of death. Even death on a cross.

9So God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name, 10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, 11and that every tongue should confess that Jesus AnointedOne is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

12So then, my dear-ones, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

13For it is God who works in you both to will and to work, for his good pleasure.

14Do all things without complaining and arguing, 15that you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without blemish in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world, 16holding up the word of life, that I may have something to boast in the day of the AnointedOne, that I didn't run in vain nor labor in vain.

17Yes, and if I am poured out on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice, and rejoice with you all.

18In the same way, you also rejoice, and rejoice with me.

19But I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered up when I know how you are doing.

20For I have no one else like-minded, who will truly care about you.

21For they all seek their own, not the things of Jesus AnointedOne.

22But you know the proof of him, that as a child serves a father, so he served with me in furtherance of the Good News.

23So I hope to send him at once, as soon as I see how it will go with me.

24But I trust in the Lord that I myself also will come shortly.

25But I counted it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, fellow soldier, and your apostle and servant of my need, 26since he longed for you all, and was very troubled because you had heard that he was sick.

27For indeed he was sick, nearly to death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, that I might not have sorrow upon sorrow.

28So I have sent him the more diligently, that when you see him again, you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

29So receive him in the Lord with all joy, and hold such people in honor, 30because for the work of the AnointedOne he came near to death, risking his life to supply what was lacking in your service toward me.
