Numbers Chapter 8

²⁰Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel did so to the Levites. According to all that ForeverOne commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so the children of Israel did to them.

²¹The Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them for a wave offering before ForeverOne; and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.

²²After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron, and before his sons: as ForeverOne had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.

²³ForeverOne spoke to Moses, saying, ²⁴"This is what belongs to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting; ²⁵and from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting on the work, and shall serve no more, ²⁶but shall minister with their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to perform the duty, and shall do no service. You shall do thus to the Levites concerning their duties."

Numbers Chapter 9

Jeremiah Chapter 25

³²Thus says ForeverOne of Armies, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great storm shall be raised up from the uttermost parts of the earth.

³³The slain of ForeverOne shall be at that day from one end of the earth even to the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung on the surface of the ground.

³⁴Wail, you shepherds, and cry; and wallow [in ashes], you principal of the flock; for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are fully come, and you shall fall like a goodly vessel.

³⁵The shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.

³⁶A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and the wailing of the principal of the flock! for ForeverOne lays waste their pasture.

³⁷The peaceable folds are brought to silence because of the fierce anger of ForeverOne.

³⁸He has left his covert, as the lion; for their land is become an astonishment because of the fierceness of the oppressing [sword], and because of his fierce anger.

Jeremiah Chapter 26

¹At the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, this word came from ForeverOne, saying, ²Thus says ForeverOne: Stand in the court of ForeverOne's house, and speak to all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in ForeverOne's house, all the words that I command you to speak to them; don't diminish a word.

³It may be they will listen, and turn every man from his evil way; that I may repent me of the evil which I purpose to do to them because of the evil of their doings.

⁴You shall tell them, Thus says ForeverOne: If you will not listen to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you, ⁵to listen to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I send to you, even rising up early and sending them, but you have not listened; ⁶then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.

⁷The priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of ForeverOne.

⁸When Jeremiah had finished speaking all that ForeverOne had commanded him to speak to all the people, the priests and the prophets and all the people laid hold of him, saying, You shall surely die.

⁹Why have you prophesied in the name of ForeverOne, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate, without inhabitant? All the people were gathered to Jeremiah in the house of ForeverOne.

¹⁰When the princes of Judah heard these things, they came up from the king's house to the house of ForeverOne; and they sat in the entry of the new gate of ForeverOne's [house].

¹¹Then spoke the priests and the prophets to the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy of death; for he has prophesied against this city, as you have heard with your ears.

¹²Then spoke Jeremiah to all the princes and to all the people, saying, ForeverOne sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that you have heard.

¹³Now therefore amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of ForeverOne your God; and ForeverOne will repent him of the evil that he has pronounced against you.

¹⁴But as for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as is good and right in your eyes.

¹⁵Only know for certain that, if you put me to death, you will bring innocent blood on yourselves, and on this city, and on its inhabitants; for of a truth ForeverOne has sent me to you to speak all these words in your ears.

¹⁶Then the princes and all the people said to the priests and to the prophets: This man is not worthy of death; for he has spoken to us in the name of ForeverOne our God.

¹⁷Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying, ¹⁸Micah the Morashtite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah; and he spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus says ForeverOne of Armies: Zion shall be plowed as a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.

Psalm 80

For the Chief Musician. To the tune of "The Lilies of the Covenant." A Psalm by Asaph.

¹Hear us, Shepherd of Israel, you who lead Joseph like a flock, you who sit above the cherubim, shine out.

²Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh, stir up your might! Come to save us!

³Turn us again, God. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.

⁴ForeverOne God of Armies, How long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?

⁵You have fed them with the bread of tears, and given them tears to drink in large measure.

⁶You make us a source of contention to our neighbors. Our enemies laugh among themselves.

⁷Turn us again, God of Armies. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.

⁸You brought a vine out of Egypt. You drove out the nations, and planted it.

⁹You cleared the ground for it. It took deep root, and filled the land.

¹⁰The mountains were covered with its shadow. Its boughs were like God's cedars.

¹¹It sent out its branches to the sea, Its shoots to the River.

¹²Why have you broken down its walls, so that all those who pass along the road pluck it?

¹³The boar out of the wood ravages it. The wild animals of the field feed on it.

¹⁴Turn again, we beg you, God of Armies. Look down from heaven, and see, and visit this vine, ¹⁵the stock which your right hand planted, the branch that you made strong for yourself.

¹⁶It's burned with fire. It's cut down. They perish at your rebuke.

¹⁷Let your hand be on the man of your right hand, on the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.

¹⁸So we will not turn away from you. Revive us, and we will call on your name.

¹⁹Turn us again, ForeverOne God of Armies. Cause your face to shine, and we will be saved.

Psalm 81

For the Chief Musician. On an instrument of Gath. By Asaph.

¹Sing aloud to God, our strength! Make a joyful shout to the God of Jacob!

²Raise a song, and bring here the tambourine, the pleasant lyre with the harp.

³Blow the trumpet at the New Moon, at the full moon, on our feast day.

⁴For it is a statute for Israel, an ordinance of the God of Jacob.

⁵He appointed it in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out over the land of Egypt, I heard a language that I didn't know.

⁶"I removed his shoulder from the burden. His hands were freed from the basket.

⁷You called in trouble, and I delivered you. I answered you in the secret place of thunder. I tested you at the waters of Meribah." Selah.

⁸"Hear, my people, and I will testify to you, Israel, if you would listen to me!

⁹There shall be no strange god in you, neither shall you worship any foreign god.

¹⁰I am ForeverOne, your God, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt. Open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

¹¹But my people didn't listen to my voice. Israel desired none of me.

¹²So I let them go after the stubbornness of their hearts, that they might walk in their own counsels.

¹³Oh that my people would listen to me, that Israel would walk in my ways!

¹⁴I would soon subdue their enemies, and turn my hand against their adversaries.

¹⁵The haters of ForeverOne would cringe before him, and their punishment would last forever.

¹⁶But he would have also fed them with the finest of the wheat. I will satisfy you with honey out of the rock."

1 Corinthians Chapter 6

¹²"All things are lawful for me," but not all things are expedient. "All things are lawful for me," but I will not be brought under the power of anything.

¹³"Foods for the belly, and the belly for foods," but God will bring to nothing both it and them. But the body is not for sexual immorality, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.

¹⁴Now God raised up the Lord, and will also raise us up by his power.

¹⁵Don't you know that your bodies are members of the AnointedOne? Shall I then take the members of the AnointedOne and make them members of a prostitute? May it never be!

¹⁶Or don't you know that he who is joined to a prostitute is one body? For, "The two", he says, "will become one flesh." ¹⁷But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit.

¹⁸Flee sexual immorality! "Every sin that a man does is outside the body," but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body.

¹⁹Or don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, ²⁰for you were bought with a price. So glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's.

1 Corinthians Chapter 7

¹Now concerning the things about which you wrote to me: it is good for a man not to touch a woman.

²But, because of sexual immoralities, let each man have his own wife, and let each woman have her own husband.

³Let the husband give to his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to her husband.

⁴The wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife.

⁵Don't deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn't tempt you because of your lack of self-control.

⁶But this I say by way of concession, not of commandment.

⁷Yet I wish that all men were like me. However each man has his own gift from God, one of this kind, and another of that kind.

⁸But I say to the unmarried and to widows, it is good for them if they remain even as I am.

⁹But if they don't have self-control, let them marry. For it's better to marry than to burn.

¹⁰But to the married I command (not I, but the Lord) that the wife not leave her husband ¹¹(but if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.
