The Bible Reading Plan
Readings for December 29:First, from Deuteronomy Chapter 32 verse 45 to Chapter 33 verse 7 Zechariah Chapter 14 Daniel Chapter 11 verses 9 to 24; and lastly from Revelation Chapter 20 verse 7 to Chapter 21 verse 8
You can read the passages below. If you're looking to read for a different day or want to use your own Bible, then the entire year’s plan is below them in a table. Enjoy!
This is still very much a work in progress (if you want to help out then please check out the ‘Support this ministry’ page). I do plan to develop the code to:
- Enable a checklist so you can ‘mark as read’
- provide alternative arrangements of the readings for variety
- Any other requests?
45Moses made an end of speaking all these words to all Israel; 46He said to them, "Set your heart to all the words which I testify to you this day, which you shall command your children to observe to do, [even] all the words of this law. 47For it is no vain thing for you; because it is your life, and through this thing you shall prolong your days in the land, where you go over the Jordan to possess it." 48TheIAM

1Behold, a day of TheIAM
9He shall come into the realm of the king of the south, but he shall return into his own land. 10His sons shall war, and shall assemble a multitude of great forces, which shall come on, and overflow, and pass through; and they shall return and war, even to his fortress. 11The king of the south shall be moved with anger, and shall come forth and fight with him, even with the king of the north; and he shall set forth a great multitude, and the multitude shall be given into his hand. 12The multitude shall be lifted up, and his heart shall be exalted; and he shall cast down tens of thousands, but he shall not prevail. 13The king of the north shall return, and shall set forth a multitude greater than the former; and he shall come on at the end of the times, [even of] years, with a great army and with much substance. 14In those times there shall many stand up against the king of the south: also the children of the violent among your people shall lift themselves up to establish the vision; but they shall fall. 15So the king of the north shall come, and cast up a mound, and take a well-fortified city: and the forces of the south shall not stand, neither his chosen people, neither shall there be any strength to stand. 16But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him; and he shall stand in the glorious land, and in his hand shall be destruction. 17He shall set his face to come with the strength of his whole kingdom, and with him equitable conditions; and he shall perform them: and he shall give him the daughter of women, to corrupt her; but she shall not stand, neither be for him. 18After this shall he turn his face to the islands, and shall take many: but a prince shall cause the reproach offered by him to cease; yes, moreover, he shall cause his reproach to turn on him. 19Then he shall turn his face toward the fortresses of his own land; but he shall stumble and fall, and shall not be found. 20Then shall stand up in his place one who shall cause a tax collector to pass through the kingdom to maintain its glory; but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle. 21In his place shall stand up a contemptible person, to whom they had not given the honor of the kingdom: but he shall come in time of security, and shall obtain the kingdom by flatteries. 22The overwhelming forces shall be overwhelmed from before him, and shall be broken; yes, also the prince of the covenant. 23After the treaty made with him he shall work deceitfully; for he shall come up, and shall become strong, with a small people. 24In time of security shall he come even on the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them prey, and spoil, and substance: yes, he shall devise his devices against the strongholds, even for a time.
7And after the thousand years, Satan will be released from his prison, 8and he will come out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to the war; the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. 9They went up over the breadth of the earth, and surrounded the camp of the saints, and the loved
1I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth have passed away, and the sea is no more. 2I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared like a bride adorned for her husband. 3I heard a loud voice out of heaven saying, "Behold, God's dwelling is with people, and he will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. 4He will wipe away from them every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away." 5He who sits on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." He said, "Write, for these words of God are faithful and true." 6He said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give freely to him who is thirsty from the spring of the water of life. 7He who overcomes, I will give him these things. I will be his God, and he will be my son. 8But for the cowardly, unbelieving, sinners, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their part is in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."
Readings for the Year:
Ooh isn’t it pretty? Well I like it anyway! More seriously the colours can help you (just a little bit) if you have coloured ribbons as dividers in your Bible to quickly get to the relevant section.
