Section 1

Numbers Chapter 4

4"This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, the most holy things. 5When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in, and his sons, and they shall take down the veil of the screen, and cover the ark of the Testimony with it, 6and shall put a covering of sealskin on it, and shall spread over it a cloth all of blue, and shall put in its poles. 7"On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it. 8They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover the same with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles. 9"They shall take a blue cloth, and cover the lampstand of the light, and its lamps, and its snuffers, and its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it. 10They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame. 11"On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles. 12"They shall take all the vessels of ministry, with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, and cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame. 13"They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it. 14They shall put on it all its vessels, with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the flesh hooks, the shovels, and the basins; all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles. 15"When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary, and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it: but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting. 16"The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings."

Section 2

Jeremiah Chapter 11

14Therefore don't pray for this people, neither lift up cry nor prayer for them; for I will not hear them in the time that they cry to me because of their trouble. 15What has my beloved to do in my house, since she has worked lewdness [with] many, and the holy flesh is passed from you? when you do evil, then you rejoice. 16TheIAM (Yahweh) called your name, A green olive tree, beautiful with goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he has kindled fire on it, and its branches are broken. 17For TheIAM (Yahweh) of Armies, who planted you, has pronounced evil against you, because of the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have worked for themselves in provoking me to anger by offering incense to Baal. 18TheIAM (Yahweh) gave me knowledge of it, and I knew it: then you showed me their doings. 19But I was like a gentle lamb that is led to the slaughter; and I didn't know that they had devised devices against me, [saying], Let us destroy the tree with its fruit, and let us cut him off from the land of the living, that his name may be no more remembered. 20But, TheIAM (Yahweh) of Armies, who judges righteously, who tests the heart and the mind, I shall see your vengeance on them; for to you have I revealed my cause. 21Therefore thus says TheIAM (Yahweh) concerning the men of Anathoth, who seek your life, saying, You shall not prophesy in the name of TheIAM (Yahweh) , that you not die by our hand; 22therefore thus says TheIAM (Yahweh) of Armies, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine; 23and there shall be no remnant to them: for I will bring evil on the men of Anathoth, even the year of their visitation.

Jeremiah Chapter 12

1You are righteous, TheIAM (Yahweh) , when I contend with you; yet I would reason the cause with you: why does the way of the wicked prosper? why are all they at ease who deal very treacherously? 2You have planted them, yes, they have taken root; they grow, yes, they bring forth fruit: you are near in their mouth, and far from their heart. 3But you, TheIAM (Yahweh) , know me; you see me, and try my heart toward you: pull them out like sheep for the slaughter, and prepare them for the day of slaughter. 4How long shall the land mourn, and the plants (esev) of the whole country wither? for the wickedness of those who dwell therein, the animals are consumed, and the birds; because they said, He shall not see our latter end. 5If you have run with the footmen, and they have wearied you, then how can you contend with horses? and though in a land of peace you are secure, yet how will you do in the pride of the Jordan? 6For even your brothers, and the house of your father, even they have dealt treacherously with you; even they have cried aloud after you: don't believe them, though they speak beautiful words to you. 7I have forsaken my house, I have cast off my heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of my soul into the hand of her enemies. 8My heritage is become to me as a lion in the forest: she has uttered her voice against me; therefore I have hated her. 9Is my heritage to me as a speckled bird of prey? are the birds of prey against her all around? Go, assemble all the animals of the field, bring them to devour. 10Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness. 11They have made it a desolation; it mourns to me, being desolate; the whole land is made desolate, because no man lays it to heart. 12Destroyers are come on all the bare heights in the wilderness; for the sword of TheIAM (Yahweh) devours from the one end of the land even to the other end of the land: no flesh has peace. 13They have sown wheat, and have reaped thorns; they have put themselves to pain, and profit nothing: and you shall be ashamed of your fruits, because of the fierce anger of TheIAM (Yahweh) .

Section 3

Psalm 66

For the Chief Musician. A song. A Psalm. 1Make a joyful shout to God (Elohim) , all the earth! 2Sing to the glory of his name! Offer glory and praise! 3Tell God (Elohim) , "How awesome are your deeds! Through the greatness of your power, your enemies submit themselves to you. 4All the earth will worship you, and will sing to you; they will sing to your name." Selah. 5Come, and see God (Elohim) 's deeds - awesome work on behalf of the children of men. 6He turned the sea into dry land. They went through the river on foot. There, we rejoiced in him. 7He rules by his might forever. His eyes watch the nations. Don't let the rebellious rise up against him. Selah. 8Praise our God (Elohim) , you peoples! Make the sound of his praise heard, 9who preserves our life among the living, and doesn't allow our feet to be moved. 10For you, God (Elohim) , have tested us. You have refined us, as silver is refined. 11You brought us into prison. You laid a burden on our backs. 12You allowed men to ride over our heads. We went through fire and through water, but you brought us to the place of abundance. 13I will come into your temple with burnt offerings. I will pay my vows to you, 14which my lips promised, and my mouth spoke, when I was in distress. 15I will offer to you burnt offerings of fat animals, with the offering of rams, I will offer bulls with goats. Selah. 16Come, and hear, all you who fear God (Elohim) . I will declare what he has done for my soul. 17I cried to him with my mouth. He was extolled with my tongue. 18If I cherished sin in my heart, the Lord (Adonai) wouldn't have listened. 19But most certainly (Aken) , God (Elohim) has listened. He has heard the voice of my prayer. 20Blessed be God (Elohim) , who has not turned away my prayer, nor his loving kindness from me.

Psalm 67

For the Chief Musician. With stringed instruments. A Psalm. A song.

Section 4

Romans Chapter 9

29As Isaiah has said before, "Unless the Lord (Kurios) of Armies had left (Enkataleipo) us a seed, we would have become like Sodom, and would have been made like Gomorrah." 30What shall we say then? That the Gentiles, who didn't follow after righteousness, attained to righteousness, even the righteousness which is of faith; 31but Israel, following after a law of righteousness, didn't arrive at the law of righteousness. 32Why? Because they didn't seek it by faith, but as it were by works of the law. They stumbled over the stumbling stone; 33even as it is written, "Behold, I lay in Zion a stumbling stone and a rock of offense; and no one who believes in him will be disappointed."

Romans Chapter 10

1Brothers, my heart's desire and my prayer to God is for Israel, that they may be saved. 2For I testify about them that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. 3For being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they didn't subject themselves to the righteousness of God. 4For the AnointedOne (Kristos) is the fulfillment of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. 5For Moses writes about the righteousness of the law, "The one who does them will live by them." 6But the righteousness which is of faith says this, "Don't say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?' (that is, to bring the AnointedOne (Kristos) down); 7or, 'Who will descend into the abyss?' (that is, to bring the AnointedOne (Kristos) up from the dead.)" 8But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;" that is, the word of faith, which we preach: 9that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord (Kurios) , and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. 11For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed." 12For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord (Kurios) [is Lord] of all, and is rich to all who call on him. 13For, "Whoever will call on the name of the Lord (Kurios) will be saved." 14How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in him whom they have not heard? How will they hear without a preacher? 15And how will they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the Good News of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!"
